“Made a reservation for the bar as other areas were full. Arrived early and table was ready. Unfortunately, the server had a table of 18 people across from me and seemed to completely lose track of me. Slow service for drink order, asked for happy hour menu and he forgot, then eventually brought it. Waiter was friendly but obviously overwhelmed by the large table and any others he was assisting. Fortunately, runners brought drink, salad and entree. Food was all good and enjoyable. Got dessert to go, as meal was plenty for dinner. Recommend the pri fixe menu for a great deal and salad, entree and dessert at a great price. When waiter brought check, I explained I had a coupon as we are regular customers and purchase gift cards with bonus cards. Seemed like it took forever for check and then when it came, he forgot to take bonus card off. Then, he got distracted again. Overall, a good experience but, someone needs to better manage table assignments when there are large parties involved.“
“Mushroom bake and cheesecake were outstanding. Paid over $100 for a bone in ribeye and it was raw in the middle portion near the bone. Not sure if it's because they only broil their steaks and can't get the interior warm before the outside burns but I expected better preparation for the cost. Still a good cut of meat.“

“I took my mom to dinner last evening. We haven’t been to Brother Sebastian’s in forever. The food was SO good! The steaks were done to perfection. The vegetables were excellent! We ordered a side of sautéed mushrooms and it was such a great choice!The service (David was our server) was so good. “Extremely long wait for calling ahead to reserve a spot it was a busy Saturday evening. We did get a free coupon for an appetizer as well as several apologies from the manager for the wait. Food was delicious would recommend just maybe not on a Saturday night ??“

“Johnny's is excellent for the state of Nebraska and the filet mignon or prime rib is most probably their best choice on the expansive menu. A great place to go out to a satisfying nice lunch or evening meal as part of a couple as well as a group meal on weekends as well as weekdays. If you try Johnny's cafe once you will return on any special occasion“

Atmosphere was very unique and comfortable. Food was out of this world. Beautiful cuts of locally sourced beef. Couldn't partake in alcohol, but the wine list is impressive. “I want to give this place 4 stars mainly for the price, otherwise it's a homerun. The salad bar is excellent, the service amazing, the meats, so good. But with dessert, tax, and tip it was nearly $175 for 2 people. I wish I would have fasted for a day or so , so I could really work on getting my money's worth. Make sure you do before you come. Everything here is worth tasting but you'll want to be properly full when you get the bill. A tip to save a little, you can get $20 off coupon by signing up for their mailing list. You can buy $50 gift cards for $40 at Sam's and Costco. But these two things can't be combined. So one or the other.Parking: There is limited street parking out front or a parking garage a block away. We lucked out on a spot 30' from the door on a Sunday.“
