“So so so cozy. It’s a must stop. You’ll be a local within minutes. Food during lunch, you’ll need to drink your dinner as the grill is closed after lunch. Everything is a double and if you need a ride to the hotel, you’ll have plenty of options.”

“We had to make a late night stop on a road trip and the wendys had closed early. It's a truck stop so I was tempering my expectations but our waitress was so nice and seated us despite the fact they were about to close and the bacon in the BLT was FANTASTIC.”

“My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Heritage Hall this past September and we were blown away. The venue is gorgeous. Barb and Sarah did such a great job working with us to make our day perfect. Everything was set up perfectly when we arrived, despite rain earlier in the day, a parking attendant helped folks park, plenty of bartenders, the food was awesome, I can't say enough good things. We STILL are getting compliments on the wine we had. I highly recommend renting the glamping tents as well and doing a brunch the day after. We felt so special, pampered, and attended to. We also highly recommend doing a boozy hay rack ride before! Only thing to remember is there's little to no cell reception, so download the playlist before hand ;) Also, make sure to say hello to Ferguson their dog for us! He was an added bonus and made us smile.”

She made us a strawberry rhubarb pie that we picked up later and was the star of the show (family dinner) we are here twice during our visit and would go back again and again.”

“Stopped in for lunch the other day. The restaurant was clean, the service was quick even though it was noon, and the cheese runza and onion rings was super tasty!! The facility is decent for a fast food restaurant. Wish there was a Runyan franchise in the Waukee, Iowa area!”

“The Lied Lodge is among the best hotels in Nebraska that I've stayed in. The service was friendly and professional. The decor is cozy and comfortable with an arbor day theme which is not surprising given that it's in Nebraska City. The double queen room with vaulted ceiling was clean, the beds were comfortable and the view out back was great. We enjoyed the Olympic pool and hot tub. We didn't eat dinner here but we did have breakfast which was good though the food was lukewarm. Beware that you have kids, the French toast sticks aren't really sticks, instead it's an child size portion of the adult French toast. We also enjoyed the library lounge which has a nice fireplace. Out back you'll find a fire pit and hiking trails one of which leads to Arbor Day Farm which has a small market, wine and cider tastings and a barbecue restaurant. This may become an annual vacation spot for us.”

“These guys have been doing their best since the pandemic. The food has been consistent even if the service is a bit slow sometimes. They've only gotten my order wrong one time because they left an item out. But, I called back immediately & they were apologetic & had my missing item ready by the time I turned around & went back.”
