“Fun little spot for a beverage. We only had appetizers, fried green beans were excellent. One lady working, she did it all.... Wait tables, bar, and cook. And we still had great service!”

“Food is good typical bar food, I did not order the pizza but my wife did and it was very good, I would order it next time. I had the cheeseburger and subbed the fried mushrooms instead of fries. Service was great the waitress was very nice and was friendly. The place is a small town bar, keno, TVs. It was welcoming! Gave it a 4 because the table was a little weirded out by the mayo just sitting on the table.”

“Dairy Chef has the best soft serve I have ever had in my life. I love getting a chocolate shake with fresh strawberries (my go to) and their food is also amazing! They have great burgers, chicken strips, popcorn chicken, yummy tots, and fries. I have never craved ice cream like I crave Dairy Chef.”

“There is no better coffee shop in Elkhorn or Omaha. The crew here is truly fantastic – from ownership on down. Such a friendly atmosphere. Great patio for nice days. Easy online ordering system. Great food. If you are a cold brew fan, they have the best cold brew in the region. Expertly made coffee drinks. Great juice selection. Comfortable seating. Plenty of parking. Accessible. There is no better spot in town. Highly recommend!!!”

“First of all the donuts are incredible! The cake’s they made for my son’s 1st birthday were amazing. They tasted even better than they looked! Working with them was super easy and they were very flexible when we had to change the party date last minute. We will definitely be going back for all future cake and donut orders!! We gave them an idea of what we were wanting and the party theme and they came up with some really cool cakes!”

“I’d never heard of Javi’s Tacos before my daughter had it catered into her school. After our 1st visit, I enjoyed everything that we ordered. The food was fantastic, the service was pleasant and it had a very enjoyable atmosphere.Parking: Parking was walking distance to the restaurant”

“While Farmer Brown's has so many great items to choose from on their menu, any trip there for me has to include 2 of my favorites in all of Omaha, their amazing onion rings and their incredible Prime Rib! This round, I had the huge 38 oz Hired Hand Cut, and holy smokes, was this shrine to Nebraska meat tender!!! They cooked it to an absolutely perfect Medium Rare, and it sat nicely in it's au jus bath on the plate! By default, it comes out more lightly seasoned, but they give you more seasoning if you want to sprinkle it on there. Their garlic mashed potatoes were also fabulous!”

“I really like this place. Great experience on a Sunday in March 2024. Place was recommended by a local. Good food and sides. Four of us had different burgers and I had melt-in-your-mouth brisket- wow! Ordering was quick and food was delivered promptly to our table. Servers and the manager checked on us multiple times and refilled our water glasses. Good value, will definitely go again and recommend to friends.”

“I absolutely loved stumbling across Proof after moving to Omaha. This has been the perfect place for casual outings to catch up with friends and family. Their specialty cocktails are all delicious, and you could not ask for a larger selection of spirits. A few favorites: House Bourbon Old Fashioned, White Rose, Espresso Martini, and the Mai Thai. I especially recommend grabbing a seat at the bar at least once so you can have an up-close experience and watch them make their craft. They have diverse table options, but I would call ahead if you have a larger group!”

“I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere as we have only ever ordered pizza for delivery. Their pizza is delicious—but WAY overpriced ($30 for a large pizza!!!). Union Pizzeria is just as good and more affordable. We will be ordering from Union going forward for carry out. The outrageous price of Don Carmelo’s is not worth it. They also charge $5 for delivery and $2 for using a credit card.”

“This visit was disappointing as the poor waitress seemed to be the only one working. The time delays for our beverages, appetizers AND entrees had at least 15-20 minutes in-between each of our dinner orders. At the beginning of our arrival, I told the waitress we were celebrating the birthday for our 17 yr old granddaughter & as we were leaving after being there for 2 hours+, she says "oops. I forgot your birthday ice cream" wewere already SO late, we could not come back to enjoy anymore time at Applebee's.”

“I love to support the little mom and pop places such as this one. The owners put their heart into everything they make. We have come here for tacos and breakfast burritos and the occaciinal churro that is freshly fried and coated with cinnamon and sugar when ordered. So good! The establishment has a drive through but we always choose to go inside. It's really never too busy and the place is kept clean.”

“Lazlo’s has been a favorite of ours for years. The Lincoln NE location is our preferred restaurant overall but the food at the Omaha location is surprisingly consistent, especially the steak. The wait staff are great here. Very attentive and friendly. One of our favorite dishes on the menu is actually an appetizer. The Voodoo Chicken Lavosh.”

“We recently went here for a baby shower and were pleasantly surprised!The salted caramel wings were AMAZING! The pretzels and cheese were okay. There's not much flavor in the cheese dip.I had a Cuban sandwich, and my husband had the Chicken Bacon Cajun Ranch sandwich. The Cuban was seriously one of the best Cubans I've ever had. Delicious!!!!My husband's Chicken Bacon Cajun Ranch sandwich was so good as well. We will absolutely be back to try more items off the menu!”

“First time stopping by while I was in the area back in September. Cute shop! I'm not a tea person, but I enjoyed the tea here! Lots of options for teas and protein shakes! I love the messages on the drinks - such a cool idea! It was a beautiful day - we sat on the patio for awhile with our teas. Nice place to stop by if you're in the area!”

There is much to offer in big taste restaurants here, as one that i am enjoying as i write this. Boyd and Charlies BBQ and More, has a wide variety of different quality meats smoked to perfection, with three sauces to compliment your choices very well. ?I chose the Honey kissed turkey breast with smoked pulled chicken, southern style crispy fries & onion petals, and for dessert a healthy portion of apple cobbler alamode!So come on down, bring your friends & family, as you fall in love with the top notch customer service & food too.I am adding to my review, as i am just finishing up...oh my! The apple cobbler alamode is off the Yum charts!! This reminds me of my grandmother Dorothy's cooking as a kid.”

“In retrospect, I'm so disappointed that i didn't take pictures. ?‍♂️ Tried the onion rings and brussel sprout appetizers. Loved the sprouts, very well prepared, tender and tasty. Rings were petty good as well. Thin cut, lightly breaded but well seasoned and plenty of them! I had the ribeye with mushrooms added. The shrooms came in kind of a light cream sauce in case that isn't your thing. I think it paired well. Steak was medium rare as requested and well seasoned. The side was a vegetable medley of broccoli, carrots and mashed potatoes. Service was attentive and pleasant. Great experience!”

“This is a unique hometown bar. Once you enter the bar, you're greeted walls that are lined with Silver Dollar coins(hense the bars name). The atmosphere is very good.”
