“First time at Trackside Bar and Grill. Food was amazing, my server was great his name was Keegan. The other young man who served my food was Kelton Gene Smith born September 1 2006, attends lincoln Northeast High school. His favorite color is green and I just wanna reiterate he works here as a foodrunner/busser. I tipped the kid 50 bucks because well damn it he deserved it. Wish more kids would be like him.“

“O M F G this is hands down the best breakfast joint in Lincoln, NE. Chocolate chip pancakes, banana nut pancakes, biscuits and gravy, omelets, French toast, EVERYTHING here is so good!! I cannot recommend this place more enthusiastically and I absolutely love bringing people here for their first time and again! The staff is great, the atmosphere is great, lots of history in this place. Holy cow the food is so good. Get here early as it is a popular spot! And ask if there are seats at the bar if the line is long!“

“I actually can’t believe I’m just now leaving a review because this has been my husband and my favorite place to eat besides home for years. We love cooking but when we want to go out to eat, this is pretty much the only place we go. Because it’s consistently outstanding. We tend to be disappointed by other restaurants and Piedmont has amazing consistent waitors and hosts that we recognize and that recognize us and amazing consistent chefs. The menu is a lot of fun. We always get the spinach gouda dip and I order the filet and my husband gets the ribeye or the duck !“

“My daughter and I visited this wonderful establishment this week, celebrating her Birthday. We are branching out from restaurants in Lincoln and trying restaurants in local communities. What a wonderful atmosphere this restaurant is - from the décor, to the cheerful wait staff, to the food itself. The Prime Rib was delicious! We had such a positive experience! We told them `We will be back` as we were leaving! Enjoyed visiting with the owner who visited every table and him sharing his stories. Looking forward to Sunday brunches next.“

“Have only been there three times. First time was a football Saturday and the cozy but large horseshoe granite bar still had open seating. The patrons shuffled to put two chairs together. Within an hour we made new friends. Discovered several old ones and had a ball. We ordered the fried dill pickles (spears) and they were amazing. Second time was a Wednesday around 3:00 pm and again the bar was our sitting destination. Very reasonable priced drinks and great staff and experience. Pickles again? Yes and this time we added portabella mushroom fries. Seriously amazing with ranch, that good old standby. Third time was Sunday. Again crowd was fun. No eating that day but $1 off drinks. This is our new place to hang, meet people and make friends. There's keno, pull-tabs, pool and gambling games. Kid friendly and adult approved.“

“I have not been to Crave since they moved from Pine Lake. I am really glad I finally made it to the new place.I was surprised it was not a sit down style restaurant and not go to the counter and order. They seem to have several items on the menu that were not there at the original place. I am not sure if the new place was always like this or not.The burgers are as good or even better than I remember. You get to choose your cook on the burger now and that is good. The waffle fries were great.Looking forward to going back sometime and trying some apps or desserts too.“

“We ordered our food and then got an emergency phone call. They packed our food to go and we ate it later. Even cold the food was still excellent. Herb roasted chicken and 16oz ribeye steak. We had already eaten the croissants and salad before getting the call.Sheri, our server is the Best.They just got the cheese queso with beef and nachos, back on the menu. Absolutely delicious.“

“My wife and I met a couple of friends here for lunch yesterday (3/30/24). Overall, everything was good (atmosphere, food, drinks, pricing), but the service could have been a little better. In our waitress' defense, the place got busy very quickly, even though we showed up right at opening (11 am) and were the first ones seated. When she took our order (3 taco salads for my wife and friends, which they loved, and the special for me (BBQ beef sandwich (which was so, so) and fries (which were good)), I also asked for a couple of appetizers (gizzards and mushrooms) to be served prior to our meals. I had finished my beer by the time our meal arrived (which really didn't take too long), but there had been no appetizers served. So, when I inquired about where my appetizers had gone, she admitted she had forgotten all about them. So, I reduced my appetizer order to just gizzards, which then actually did get submitted to the kitchen, and were served to us about 10 minutes later. She did apologize for her error. She did bring extra napkins for our table, but forgot a knife and fork for me (the BBQ sandwich, although not that tasty, was loaded with meat and would obviously require at least a fork). I tipped well regardless. I do like this place, because they have not succumbed to the current trend of some restaurants/bars suggesting, (and/or mandating) tipping. I will not go to anyplace that mandates tips. I give this place a four.“

“A few times a week I take a smoothy up to my 88 year old mom to the care home. They make sure it's thick and fresh for her as it has a ways to go.
