“I loved the service I got from the bartender and the service personnel.. But I placed several bets on keno and I am flabbergasted by the amount of money I have lost. I can compare it to just shy of Indiana Jones and his generational wealth from his movies. Otherwise my next 3 generations of kids have a hill to climb, all bc of this single night. I want you to feel the pressure I feel from 3 Vegas bombs and a 5 twisted teas to burying my future in the ground and eliminating future childish laughter, congrats trackside... You have destroyed my family!!!“

“I actually can’t believe I’m just now leaving a review because this has been my husband and my favorite place to eat besides home for years. We love cooking but when we want to go out to eat, this is pretty much the only place we go. Because it’s consistently outstanding. We tend to be disappointed by other restaurants and Piedmont has amazing consistent waitors and hosts that we recognize and that recognize us and amazing consistent chefs. The menu is a lot of fun. We always get the spinach gouda dip and I order the filet and my husband gets the ribeye or the duck !“

“I came here a week ago and can’t believe I’ve never been before! The atmosphere is very calming and I think it would be a great place for studying. I went here with my grandma for lunch and it was a wonderful place to sit and talk.I loved their coffee, and I’m pretty picky with coffee. Their espresso had a nice taste and my latte was beautifully made. The avocado toast I had was most definitely the best avo toast I’ve ever had. The seasoning was great, you could tell the avocado was fresh and the egg on top was also wonderful.The service was nice as well, and the people behind the counter were very kind and efficient. “We contacted Arnold's - because we love the Havelock Historic area and loved the idea of the Joyo Theater Marquee across the street -to celebrate our daughter's engagement! We were not disappointed!!! GREAT, clean, vintage venue! AMAZING staff- Jenny the GM, Caley, & Abby can manage the party from behind the bar, and they did, without a problem! Owner Jason Olberding even stopped in to be sure everything was as it should be!Highly recommend for an evening of drinks, or for your celebrations“

“If you want a place to go and feel comfortable and have a good time Ejs is it. The new owners and staff are great! The food is excellent! We just had the stadium nachos it has homemade Pico and homemade salsa. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are the bomb!!!!!“

“This bar rocks. No drink specials. But it makes up for that with no cover charge on Friday and Saturday nights with some of the best bands in the Lincoln Area . Last Minute Band, Levi Williams, Hell Toupee, The Victims, and Them Other Dudes plus many others. They offer open mic night on Wednesday for those that are trying to get there name out there or just to practice and have fun. It is like a small town bar located in the downtown Historical Havelock which has its omnionse. Plenty of fun with shuffle board and pool. Video arcade bowling and a large fenced in beer garden to enjoy while socializing with friends and family ...who ever said it was rude and garbage like there band must of really sucked ... Come see how much fun it is for yourself you won't be let down.....“

“My wife and I met a couple of friends here for lunch yesterday (3/30/24). Overall, everything was good (atmosphere, food, drinks, pricing), but the service could have been a little better. In our waitress' defense, the place got busy very quickly, even though we showed up right at opening (11 am) and were the first ones seated. When she took our order (3 taco salads for my wife and friends, which they loved, and the special for me (BBQ beef sandwich (which was so, so) and fries (which were good)), I also asked for a couple of appetizers (gizzards and mushrooms) to be served prior to our meals. I had finished my beer by the time our meal arrived (which really didn't take too long), but there had been no appetizers served. So, when I inquired about where my appetizers had gone, she admitted she had forgotten all about them. So, I reduced my appetizer order to just gizzards, which then actually did get submitted to the kitchen, and were served to us about 10 minutes later. She did apologize for her error. She did bring extra napkins for our table, but forgot a knife and fork for me (the BBQ sandwich, although not that tasty, was loaded with meat and would obviously require at least a fork). I tipped well regardless. I do like this place, because they have not succumbed to the current trend of some restaurants/bars suggesting, (and/or mandating) tipping. I will not go to anyplace that mandates tips. I give this place a four.“
