“The Bistro is one of our favorite spots to eat. The food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. The wines are great and there is a full bar if wine isn't your thing. They change up the menu periodically which is fun. If you are there at lunch, I highly recommend the Chicken Salad Wrap which has wine soaked cranberries among other tasty ingredients. The crispy buffalo cauliflower appetizer is also amazing as are the new salted caramel wings (I was skeptical but WOW!).We also highly recommend the events there (and the Derry location). We have seen some great bands and been to some fabulous special meals (Valentine's Sinatra in Love and Easter brunch). All around an amazing place.“
“Good diner food. When we went they were short-staffed that day. Now the only reason I mention that is because our waitress was a dynamo! Super friendly, never once complained about being short-handed, and handled her whole section like a champ! Food was delivered to the tables quickly and food was hot and delicious. The place runs like a well-oiled machine. And the place was super busy! They did such a good job. I'll go back there anytime.“
“Such a delightful place! Cozy, comfortable atmosphere; immaculate with friendly service & hot, fresh food! We had the 3 piece chicken tenders & the veggie burger with fries. Simply delicious!Vegetarian options: The veggie burger was so delicious!“
“This is one of those instances where I'll say 'hidden gem' because if you know about this place then you can find it. Small cafe with a view of the municipal airport, this place is small so you might have to wait a bit, however, they turn out orders pretty quick so you won't be waiting too long. Full range of breakfast or lunch options, specials and a nice view. Go for a benedict and stay for the view.“
“Bailey was our lovely server. I went with her suggestion. We enjoyed our Champagne and beer along with a scrumptious, salmon, salad and smash burger! Yummy!!Your restaurant is quaint and cozy, loved the bathrooms! Check out the mirror upstairs with the quote from Bob Marley. Downstairs is gorgeous and can’t wait to come back and sit by the river outside.Thank you ? for a perfect lunch!“
“Do you love a good meatball sub? I do. And I love love love Marc’s. The meatballs are beyond compare. Seriously awesome. The waiting time can vary, so order ahead if you can. Sometimes Marc needs to make more meatballs, or whatever, and there can be a bit of a delay.Insider tip: Their large subs are ginormous, so be sure you know how big they are before you order one!“
“This place is fantastic. It is hard to find a spot in New Hampshire that offers such a simple yet complex meal that is absolutely delicious. This is a restaurant that cares about the details of everything in-house. Josh, thank you for the great experience!“
“I took David to The White Birch Eatery and was completed wooed! It is probably the finest breakfast establishments in the greater Manchester area when it comes to serving up five star breakfast options that will satisfy the most critical of palates (I should know ha ha). I love the variety of choices and vegan and vegetarian options too. Definitely reminds me of breakfast in San Diego, especially with their coffee and expresso bar. What really made the experience a Ten Star though was the exceptional service of their Waitress/Hostess Analia, this girl is incredible! Make sure to ask for her, waitstaff like her are a treasure.“
“Amazing breakfast! Have yet to have a bad meal here- pancakes, compost heap, benedicts are all great. Servers are attentive and keep the coffee flowing. Best to get there 5 mins before they open because there's always a line within 5 mins after they open. Guess it shows how good it is when you have a wait right after opening, but the wait is worth it“
“My wife and I love this place! If you are looking for a small, cozy, town restaurant, look no further than Hollis Country Kitchen. We've tried the breakfast and dinner menus, and both are equally great. Inside seating is limited, and in the morning, there can be a wait, but during the warmer months, you can sit outside in their garden area. Not their fault at all, but service can be a little bit slower due to staffing issues. I don't bring this up as a reason not to go though, just to forewarn that this place isn't necessarily somewhere to go for a "quick meal." If you have the time and want a great meal, this is the place to go!Parking: Due to their location, parking can be tough to find on busy days. I think there's an additional parking lot in the back, but not positive of that. Parking in front only has about 10-15 spots, though, so you may need to be patient on busier days like Sunday mornings.“
“Great local place for breakfast. Staff is super friendly and attentive (with few exceptions ?) whether you're going with a friend or a group, you will find something that you like. The food is prepared with care and it shows. The restaurant changed owner late in 2023 and the food continues to be awesome and actually I have not seen a bad day from the kitchen. I did see once one of the owners "Darian" in the kitchen working along the staff, which is a great comfort to see that everyone is invested in the quality and success of DW dinner. In January I noticed a change in the menu with few more additions. Would recommend that you check them out if you are around Merrimack NH. It's worth the visit.“
“Only thing missing is parking. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars. They should buy the house across the street and turn it into a parking lot.Parking: Only about 12-15 parking spots t. I drive around in circles, waiting for parking space to be available. It's that good!!!“
“Food was great. Despite being short-staffed, the waitresses took the time to indulge us in a lively discussion regarding salad dressings. Our last visit was with friends, but we've also gone with our kids and wider family. It's always been a great experience.Kid-friendliness: There are great options for the kids, both old and young. And you don't feel out of place having your kids there“
“Food was good overall but some dishes had issues. The pot pie was sauce-heavy with not nearly enough vegetables. The biggest mistake was the pork chops. They were underseasoned and undercooked. Pork shouldn't be pink inside. Couldn't eat half of it. Apps were good but calamari doesn't need jalapeños. Waitress and owner were friendly. However, the woman at the front wasn't friendly at all. We'll try it again some time.“
“January 2024, a Sunday morningLarge portions, a menu with multiple choices, and reasonable prices. My teenaged sons loved the food, and were filled up by their pancakes with all the fixings.Bobola's does a nice mix between "local joint" and "family place".We will be back for sure.Parking: Easy enough“
“What a hidden gem! We recently tried this place for a weeknight date on a whim! The dining room is immaculately clean, as are the bathrooms. The atmosphere is so cozy, with the roaring fireplace, fresh flowers on the tables, and real candles. We weren’t rushed and the staff were attentive and kind. The food was excellent! We tried a few appetizers and my husband’s baked haddock with broccolini was outstanding. Don’t skip the chicken tenders…they taste freshly breaded and remind me of southern style similar to Zaxby’s, but better! I also tried a side of Mac n cheese and was so impressed that it wasn’t soggy, freshly cooked pasta with a homemade cheese sauce. We also found both the food and our bottle of wine to be very fairly priced. We can’t wait for our next visit!“
“As a former head chef I can appreciate how they do business. Very good atmosphere and more importantly, 5 star service. Had an issue with a pizza that I ordered and they not only remade both for me, they also gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. As someone who worked for four and five star hotels, this is where most other places miss the mark.“
“The food was delicious the desserts are very shareable ( as they are great portions). The service and employees are very friendly and welcoming. Service was fast. Large building with several cozy dining areas and some larger areas for bigger parties.“
“First time here. Hunter, our waiter was superb and friendly. My tavern burger with sweet potato fries was the best burger I have had. Done to perfection with a lot of flavor and juicy. My best friend got a lamb burger, and she was amazed at how delicious it was, and she got the garlic parmesan fries that were excellent.Of course, we had to get dessert. I got a salted carmel souffle, which is made to order. She got the chocolate box for two. These desserts were exquisitely executed and, of course, melt in your mouth yummy. Needless to say, there are no leftovers except her chocolate box that she did not finish. We will be back and hope the waiter Hunter will be there, we will ask for him. Thanks for a very enjoyable and relaxing time.See you again soon.“
“Fabulous options available and everything I have tried has been delicious. When traveling with my company, she has been able to accommodate our timelines as well as allergies in our group. The dairy free pot pie was amazing!! Nothing but amazing things to say about Caroline’s!“
“One of our favorite diners to visit in New Hampshire. Great atmosphere - you feel like a local when you walk in. The wait staff is great and personable. It feels like home. Great breakfast options. We usually get eggs and home fries/hash with coffee. I LOVE the fresh bread and jam!! Can’t wait to stop back in when we’re back in town.“
“A little pricey. But doable.Burger was good but a bit small overall. Disappointed with the FF getting so small in restaurants. Desserts to due for. Fantastic service.Very busy but got in quickly.Everyone very nice.Wheelchair accessibility: Rollator fit isles. Tricky where to put it.“
