“Great local place for breakfast. Staff is super friendly and attentive (with few exceptions ?) whether you're going with a friend or a group, you will find something that you like. The food is prepared with care and it shows. The restaurant changed owner late in 2023 and the food continues to be awesome and actually I have not seen a bad day from the kitchen. I did see once one of the owners "Darian" in the kitchen working along the staff, which is a great comfort to see that everyone is invested in the quality and success of DW dinner. In January I noticed a change in the menu with few more additions. Would recommend that you check them out if you are around Merrimack NH. It's worth the visit.“

The portions were large, we all brought home left overs, and the service was excellent. “Wow. Truly top flight Indian/Nepalese/Himalayan cuisine in Manchester. What a win! I've long told friends that the one culinary shortcoming of New Hampshire, around me, at least, is good Indian. Well KS isn't good, it's excellent! We sampled cauliflower 69 (if I recall the number correctly app), veggie korma, Goan fish curry, saag paneer and garlic naan. All were as good as I've ever had anywhere. I specifically asked that the cauliflower be NOT sweet (as it usually is) and they happily complied. Savory and with just a bit of heat. The saag was smooth and creamy and the paneer of just the right texture. Goan fish curry has a unique flavor profile and they nailed it. The veggie korma had a nice variety of veggies and the sauce was creamy and mild, just the way our friend likes it. Finally, the naan came hot and fragrant. If I'd known they served huge amounts of basmati rice with the entrees I wouldn't have ordered two but, oh well, just more food for us as leftovers - no way I was going to leave all that good sauce behind. And food as well - the servings were generous and we couldn't even visualize finishing it all at one sitting. For sure, we're going to be regulars going forward.“

“I went to the Crown Restaurant with a friend in the early evening, since the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. I am so glad it was! We loved the atmosphere with the beautiful inlay floor, and tasteful setup with the bar and cooking area in designated areas. The atmosphere was alive with chatter and was just a happy place to be. My friend and I each had our own handmade pizza. Enough to share but you might want your own to take some slices home! She had a pizza with veges and garlic sauce. I had a mushroom pizza with delicious soft spreadable garlic, arugula and with truffle salt. (The last pizza on the menu. I would get it again.) We both loved the homemade chewy crust! Get the Cucumber Mocktail! Delicious! Don't forget the cheesecake with a berry sauce, or the caramel flan with a generous amount of raspberries. I am sure that anything you chose on the menu is going to be a tasty experience. Kudos to our waitress, Katrina T. She knew the menu and specials of the day. Great service, Katrina! The atmosphere was very welcoming and it seemed like a popular place to be. We started with the Fried Calamari which was very tender and tasted great with the two sauces. To drink I had the house Old fashioned and it was good compliment to the meal. For dinner I went with what was recommended, the beef short ribs. After the calamari I had high expectations for the short ribs. When the short ribs arrived, visually I will say it didn't look like a good meal (possibly the low light didnt help). But once I tasted it everything changed. This was incredible and the best short ribs I have ever had. This is a place I would travel to for this ambiance and food.“

“My wife and I love this place! If you are looking for a small, cozy, town restaurant, look no further than Hollis Country Kitchen. We've tried the breakfast and dinner menus, and both are equally great. Inside seating is limited, and in the morning, there can be a wait, but during the warmer months, you can sit outside in their garden area. Not their fault at all, but service can be a little bit slower due to staffing issues. I don't bring this up as a reason not to go though, just to forewarn that this place isn't necessarily somewhere to go for a "quick meal." If you have the time and want a great meal, this is the place to go!Parking: Due to their location, parking can be tough to find on busy days. I think there's an additional parking lot in the back, but not positive of that. “I honestly never write reviews about places but I just felt compelled because of how amazing our experience was here. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in was amazing. When I walk into a place and they’re playing Sade and frank Sinatra, I knew it was going to be amazing! Starting off, I asked if they could make me a martini with vodka and a fruit as I was up for a surprise and they did not disappoint! It ended up being some sort of banana martini which was interesting and nothing short of delicious. We also got an espresso martini which was amazing as well. Next comes the food; this is tapas style people it does not all come out at the same time! Enjoy sharing the food together!! Anyways we ordered the octopus balls, truffle fries, beef tongue Reuben and BBQ pork belly. I have to say I was shocked. I don’t even have a word for the food because it was beyond spectacular. I’ve never had beef tongue before and was a bit scared to try it but it was amazing. This level of dining and experience could absolutely survive in a bigger city like New York or LA. I found the prices to be extremely reasonable given how fresh and amazing the food was. You’re getting lesser quality of food for more money elsewhere on elm! I think what made the experience most hospitable was when I believe it was the chef came out to greet us and ask how everything was! This was the most unique cuisine I’ve ever seen in the city; well worth the money in my opinion! If there’s one thing Manchester is doing right it’s birch on elm! Kudos!!“

“The best breakfast place around! We have become weekly regulars, and the staff know our drink order when we walk in. Always very friendly, everything is clean. The food is spot on, especially the bacon which is cooked to the perfect crispness. The cook does a fantastic job with any style eggs, toast is plentiful with butter and never over toasted, hash is cooked perfectly. Price is the same as everywhere else around. There is a wait on the weekends but its worth it!“

“The selection was considerable, but both our meals were overcooked. Our server was great, and the service was top notch. Unfortunately, my wife's whole belly clams tasted like they had been cooked them warmed up in the microwave before being served. My medium rare steak was closer to medium well.“

“I’d give 4.5 stars if google would let me. I wandered over from the expo center with a friend. We both ordered steak and cheese. Food wasn’t much on presentation but it was really good. The fries were outstanding. Drink selection was a bit small, I prefer fountain drinks anyway but at least they had Mexican coke. Not alot of seating and it’s really aged. But ultimately it was clean and fairly quiet.Service was great. Friendly staff. Total recommend“

“Usually very good. Little disappointing this time. Wasn't very busy as it usually is. Took much longer to get my order than the time I was given. Food just wasn't cooked as good as it usually is. Maybe because there were so many visitors running in and out of kitchen that didn't belong or even work there? We love the food there, but this night, our subs weren't very good, and our pizza was left in a bit too long. I will be back, but hopefully it won't happen again.“

“Their food is real home cooking. Just like Mom used to make. The staff is both pleasant and attentive. As a bonus, they serve beer and wine at reasonable prices. It may not be the most exciting venue, it's just a building in a residential neighborhood, but if you're in need of some tasty comfort food at a decent price, this is a great place.“

“This is my fiancé and I’s new favorite restaurant in Nashua! We have been for dinner a couple times now and this past Sunday we went for Brunch. We had excellent service despite clearly seeing there was only one server on that day. Management was up front about the staffing shortage but the service and accommodations were unchanged from any other experience here. Staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make our experience a great one. Now the food… you cannot get this quality food anywhere else in Nashua. In my opinion it is up there with Surf and Buckley’s, plus COMPELTELY farm to table. The brunch experience was no exception. I got the Benedict Special.. yum! Our server Kerri was sweet, attentive and kept those mimosas flowing! We will become regulars at Nashua’s greatest hidden gem!“
