What a gem this place is! I came across it while I was traveling to a game and will definitely be going back. It sits atop a hill with gorgeous views. The apples were amazing and the people were so happy.

No fall in New England in complete without an orchard trip, and Carter Hill checks all the boxes! Great farm store with local goods? Check. Plenty of trees with lots of apple variety? Check. Delectable cider donuts? Check. An OBSERVATION TOWER from which you can overlook the orchards and see mountains in the background? An added bonus! Our favorite PYO fruit orchard. Outstanding fruit quality and selection. I will not share my secrets, but an observant consumer can find bargains and, on occasion, a few of them will be eye-watering. An example of the former: some 'premium' varieties costing less than 'sale' prices in a chain store. And oh, so much better-flavored !!! Friendly, professional staff, play area. What a great family destination !!!
