“Hello Hungry Guy in a Wheelchair members and today’s review is The Red Blazer Restaurant and Pub in Concord NH.. Rollin’ into The Red Blazer felt like I was pulling up to a five-star experience with wheels — and they did not disappoint. Let’s break it down… first with parking, Plenty of wheelchair van spots, clearly marked and right near the entrance. No wrestling with curbs or weird ramps — just easy, level access that says “Welcome in!”,Smooth entry, no awkward doors or tight turns. Once you’re Inside? It’s spacious and The atmosphere is cozy, colorful, and fun without feeling overdone. It’s got that mix of local charm and polished style that makes you want to hang out a while. Plenty of room to roll, pivot, and park without knocking into someone’s filet mignon. Now this is where Red Blazer shines. Our table had three waitresses tag-teaming like a championship squad — refills, check-ins, and good vibes nonstop. The manager even made the rounds like a true hospitality pro, checking on guests and staff alike. Class act. now for the star of the show the FOOD. Every plate came out looking like it belonged on a magazine cover. Hot, fresh, and cooked just right. Portion sizes were spot-on — enough to fill you, not knock you out cold. I ordered the Peanut Pub Burger, a bold move on the menu, and let me tell you, it pays off. This isn’t your average backyard burger. We’re talking about a juicy, hand-formed patty, grilled to perfection and stacked with flavor that’ll make your taste buds sit up and salute. But the real kicker? That peanut butter. Yup, you heard right. Creamy, melty peanut butter slathered right on the burger. Sounds crazy? Maybe. But bite into it and suddenly it makes perfect sense. The salty-sweet nuttiness blends with the savory beef like they were made for each other. It’s rich, it’s unexpected, and it’s absolutely addictive. Throw in crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a soft toasted bun that holds it all together without falling apart — and boom — you’ve got a burger that goes beyond comfort food and lands squarely in craveable innovation territory. My friend Anna Costa-Turner ordered The Blazer Beet Salad Now this salad didn’t come to play. We’re talking beautifully roasted beets — sweet, earthy, tender — laid over a bed of crisp greens with just the right mix of color and crunch. Tangy goat cheese crumbles added that creamy, zippy contrast, and the candied pecans? Chef’s kiss. The dressing (light vinaigrette with a citrusy pop) brought everything together without drowning the plate. Refreshing, elegant, and absolutely worth a forkful every time. It’s a salad that makes you want to eat your vegetables — and then some and finally for the main portion of lunch my mom got Chowder du Jour: The chowder of the day changes, but no matter what’s cookin’ — it’s comfort in a bowl. Mine was a creamy seafood chowder that could warm your soul on even the chilliest NH afternoon. Thick without being heavy, generous chunks of tender fish, clams, and potato, and that rich, seasoned broth that hits the spot. If they ever bottle it, I’m stocking up. The chowder was served piping hot with a side of perfectly toasted bread — ideal for dunking. Whether you start your meal with the salad, the chowder, or both (go ahead, treat yourself), you’re setting yourself up for a top-tier experience.. Don’t skip dessert. Seriously (if you do you are 1 of those people that are considered C.R.A.Z.Y. 🤣). The display case teases you, but once that plate hits the table? Pure art. And it doesn’t just look good — it tastes even better. I ordered the Crème Brûlée – Silky, Smoky, Sensational Crack that caramelized sugar top with the back of your spoon and you’ll hear that signature snap — music to a dessert lover’s ears. Underneath? A rich, vanilla-infused custard that’s smooth as velvet and served just right — cool, creamy, and luxurious. The flavor’s deep and pure, and the contrast between the warm, crispy shell and the chilled custard? Perfection. Elegant and classic, this one’s for the purists who know that simplicity, done right, is unbeatabl”
“Our waitress was Nicole. Can't say enough good things about her. This girl deserves a raise! Interacted very well with myself and my 6 yo granddaughter. Definitely recommend dining her but ask for Nicole. You won't be disappointed!”
“I had the recent pleasure of going to Revival and it was just that: a revival of the senses. It started with the atmosphere, giving off a sense of approachable fine dining. A friend and I sat at the bar and Jeffery was the bartender. He was extremely knowledgeable about flavors and their complexities, knowing precisely how to blend his flavors. He created a custom mocktail for me with my dietary restrictions in mind. The drink was phenomenal and I felt like I was able to partake in the social aspect of drinking without the effects of the spirits. We ordered a cheese plate that was phenomenal, followed by the mushroom bisque. The bisque was everything it should be and more, it was creamy without being heavy and full of earthy savory umami goodness from the mushrooms. I ordered the seafood cassoulet which did not disappoint at all. It was surprisingly light considering it is a bean stew. The beans were in a lemony, leek and fennel stock, which was contributed to the lightness of the beans. When it came time for dessert my friend and I shared bites of heavenly goodness. She ordered the Baileys Crème Brûlée and I ordered the Brown Butter Carrot Cake. Both were phenomenal, not overly sweet just perfect balance. Jeffrey kept us entertained the entire time of our visit and even the chef came out at one point and it was just an overall fantastic experience, the other waiters and waitresses that came by also engaged in conversation and all of the staff was pleasurable that we came in contact with. 10/10 would recommend and I can’t wait to go back!”

“Went there with my significant other and her father. Walked in and I loved the ambience. Had some good music playing and it felt pretty inviting in there.
We got the chicken shawarma, goat with jollof rice, and chicken curry. The chicken curry might be one of the best dishes I’ve had in my life. It was such a good, fresh dish that didn’t carry too much spice but still kicked you a bit.
Staff was also super nice. The gentleman was attentive enough to where we had good conversation and he checked in when needed.
Bring your friends, bring your family, bring someone because this is an awesome place that deserves local support.”

“I ordered a bowl that I thought had no added sugar due to a special diet I am strictly following, and after they made it the manager asked if I had been informed the base I choose did In fact have added sugar, which I had not been. She offered to remake it with the green base with cashew milk and make sure there was no added sugars in my bowl. Everything she did for me, was very appreciated and I love that I can go to Playa and treat myself while sticking to my plan. Thank you Playa!!”

“Our fave pizza place!!! Love all the different pizzas and your close ties with the community! Best of all, when we go in, everyone says hello and have a nice day to each customer! It truly makes my day to see employees who notice their customers and engage with them!”

“Food was very good but our waitress Ashley was amazing, very friendly and welcoming, not like others but a true and warm welcoming. She was very attentive and made us feel like we were her only customers even though she had several tables I hope the restaurant knows how lucky they are to have her! Drinks were filled as soon as they were empty, she checked on us the whole time we were there. She made our experience very memorable, We will return and ask for her from now on. Thank you Ashley!!”

“So I already loved there food, I picked up tonight , the most friendly welcome I swear. Then went down to bar, and let me tell you there were only 5 people in there they have nice pool tables . But the best was the bartender greets you , big smile ,I had 2 Jameson and a coors light. She is the most professional bar tender I've seen in along time . Others should watch and learn. Hey girlie ya got my vote.”
“Fantastic food. Great service. Excellent beer. Fantastic DETROIT style pizza!”

“Awesome food and the waiter was awesome and he was in training..you would never know he was new..he knew everything. We all loved what we got..”
“A little hard to find- apparently you're not supposed to drive down the actual street it's on. Whoops. A tiny basement bar with a wide selection of taps and a set up for live music. I was there for Moon Boot Lover, and when some of us demanded higher vocals, they accommodated us. Good sound system. Bar staff was friendly and it was great to visit a small town bar and be treated like New England does and should treat you. Thanks for the "Boot to the head"!”

“We went here with 3 kids, 5, 8, and 9 years old which can be a lot! The food was great, the bartender offered attentive and in tune service, the kid’s food came out first which meant the adults could enjoy our drinks and meals. Looks like awesome outside seating, and the bar was a great mix of sports, families, couples and fun. Definitely recommend 🙌🏻”
“We normally eat here because the price and food quality is great. We go here often. Eat-in not takeout if you want to eat here. Today we decided to order and just pick the food up on our way home. My husbands meal was ordered with no onions or peppers (can’t have). When we got home, his meal had no onions but was full of peppers. His meal was $25. He called to see if he could get a credit for his meal the next time we came in because he couldn’t eat what he ordered. The gentleman he spoke with told him no. He needed to bring the meal back and they could make him a new one. It would be almost an hour round trip to take it back, it’s a Friday night & my husband wasn’t up to get back out after a long day at work. My husband offered to take a picture and show him that peppers were put in it. The gentleman at the restaurant told him that wouldn’t work and they needed to know that no one would eat the one with peppers. My husband let him know he would not be getting back out to bring them a meal to prove they indeed made a mistake. The guy stated that there was nothing he could do because there was no “proof” they made a mistake. Maybe it was a bad night for them, however we will not be ordering takeout from them ever again.”
“I am a baker myself, but being busy I didn’t get to make my step fathers cake this year. My mother and I went here to get a cake and it was beautiful! Very lightly sweet and perfectly balanced, soft thinner layers of cake with chocolate mousse filling and topped with delicious, creamy chocolate curls. Exactly how I bake. It was perfect! Also, his spinach croissants are THE BEST! I think I’ll go get some tomorrow 😍”
“Chief’s Place is geared up for quick, easy, casual style dining. We placed our order from their extensive menu, seated ourselves and soon after was kindly summoned to retrieve our food for consumption.😉 It was our first visit and we shared the large appetizer platter of deep fried chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, stuffed mushrooms, onion rings, fries and jalapeño poppers. These delectable delights were served with three kinds of dipping sauces. We enjoyed our meal and recommend this dish.
After our meal, Rob, an employee of eleven years explained that besides great food, Chief’s Place and its owner, George, has been a positive presence in the Penacook community since the 1990s.
Well, the final word…. Although somewhat pricey, we recommend Chief’s for their good food, great selections and friendly service.”
“RUN!!!! El Rodeo was an absolute nightmare. Despite advising us that Friday night reservations weren't possible, they suggested arriving at 5:30 pm for a 6:00 pm seating. We arrived as instructed, telling our guests to come at 6:15 pm. We're were told 20 minutes, then another 20 minutes, then another 20 mines. Our promised tables were repeatedly given away, and the three hostesses showed a complete lack of concern for the situation. When we asked to speak with the manager (or, rather, when they offered), he was equally dismissive and uncaring about our predicament. Our guests had traveled from out of state and across the state for this special occasion, which was ruined. The manager offered tables and booths for half our party but then seated other people there. After an hour and a half of waiting, we left. To add insult to injury, one of the twin hostesses was laughing and rolling her eyes. I would never recommend this place unless you want to be disappointed.”
“I stumbled across Nina’s due to a hotel stay / biz trip. I could not be happier that I ordered from them. I got the most delicious salad I have probably EVER had as well as their amazing potato salad!!!! Highly recommend!! Such nice people too!! I will definitely be back!! :)”
“We were visiting Concord, NH. from Maryland. We were looking for a good breakfast place and we found a great breakfast place. The breakfast was unbelievable. As a matter of fact we ate breakfast both days in Concord. All the servers were great, but I have to mention Nancy..she was amazing.”
“You can imagine my surprise waking up to a message from a complete stranger that said he had found my wallet. I didn’t even realize it was missing, but upon further inspection it was indeed not in my possession..There are rare moments in my life that my faith in humanity is restored. I’m extremely greatful to the young man who contacted me and the staff at Constantly Pizza in Penacook. Thank you for taking the time out of your morning to contact me and return my stolen wallet. Also My family and I loved the food we give it 5 stars! We will definitely be back for dinner again sometime. Stay wonderful. The world needs more people like you.”
“We just had a family dinner at STREETexeter and it was fantastic! The food, service, overall chill vibe was perfect especially as a family with a deployed middle son (need to keep it upbeat). We had the meal we hoped to have and we appreciate what Kevin has created. Recommendations: KAA the therapist, BIBIMBAP (both chicken and beef), Cemita, and dumplings con pow.”

Can't wait to go back to try some of the other amazing looking goodies! !!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”
“Love this local family business!! Their meals AND dessets are FANTASTIC!! YUM! The store offers more than food! I have become a regular! 🩷”
“went in today and was basically yelled out by the gal behind the counter when i did not hear her ask what size coffee i wanted( it’s tough when your staff mumbles ) … i will not be going back . i don’t go into coffee shops to get yelled at by the staff . the place is not as good now under this new ownership .. baked goods not at yummy as before and staff is lackluster.”
“I recommend that people give this great place a chance! It’s a great and positive atmosphere! The staff make you feel like you matter and not just another number. The customer service is always a 100% and more! I work in a very negative environment so when I go there to get my shake or my tea of the day it brings positivity in my life. Everything is fresh and tastes great! Always a great experience!”
“Stopped in for lunch the other day. Had to park on the street. They offer a variety of Italian foods.... pizzas, sandwiches and more, as well as soft drinks and limited selection of beer. We enjoyed a medium pizza with three toppings, a small Greek salad, and a couple soft drinks. Salad was crisp and fresh. Pizza came out hot and had a crunchy, chewy crust. Pizza was delicious and plenty for us two. They make their own desserts (cookies). Service is friendly and prompt. Prices are moderate.”
“Ill preface with- i went to culinary arts school and worked in many high end restaurants- and when i ordered a simple sausage egg cheese (they said gouda? I was like hmm sure why not) on english muffin, i was surprised and leery to smell weird smell from the bag, and see some kind of seasoning on the egg 🧐 but WOW that seasoning really makes a great flavor! Nothing powerful or weird but just right! And they have a huge selection of pastries!!❤️ i love my pastries! Definitely coming back.”
“A usual, a great lunch at Moritomos. My daughter ordered too much as usual as the Udon dish was huge!.
My sashimi was great and a fair size, and my wife's Bento box was varied and expertly cooked.”
“Helpful and friendly associates, great prices, awesome sales, and new Sushi Bar!🌞💜”

“If I could give 100 stars I would! Put your phone down right now and go try 603 barbecue for yourself. Just go, you won’t regret it! The tenderest most flavorful brisket I have ever had, Smokey, sweet and spicy Texas Twinkie, and a tried and true delicous piece of cornbread to round out the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Sorry, there was no time for pictures. Why are you still here? Go.”
“Options are fantastic and the staff is so kind. I have been here at least 8-10 times since they opened. They even have delivery most days. Easy to order online. Panang curry, tofu with garlic sauce, the broccoli entree, scallion pancakes are all favorites. I have yet to find something that I don't like. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-05”

“The grilled gooey is a grill cheese on Texas toast with bacon and is amazing. I strongly advise getting the chips and a pickle with it. The potato chips are made in house and are phenomenal. This place is amazing. I’m Elm street it’s easy to find. Great atmosphere also and can eat inside or outside . The staff are also extremely friendly .”
“I went here with very low expectations, based on online reviews and was shocked at how wrong they were. The owners have made some great improvements to the place. The carpets are a little stained and the pool tables are a little worn, but the bar is bright and clean. The ladies room was super clean and smelled great. Good selection of domestic and craft beer. There’s a jukebox where you can play music. Plenty of tables, as well as a punching bag game and an air hockey table. I liked it a lot and will definitely go back again!”
“My wife and I arrived at the 110 Grill in Concord NH. on a Friday afternoon. We were seated immediately. The atmosphere was inviting. We looked at the menus and then waited an extended period of time for the waitress to return for a drink order. She finally returned for the order ( a cranberry margarita and a beer). When the drinks arrived my wife it was the wrong drink and tasted like pure soda water. She did get a new one but it was just a different color. The appetizer was a flatbread pizza that was very good. We both ordered Cheese burgers with fries and sweet potato fries. The fries were cold both burgers were dry and over done.”
“Dragon star has been my go to for 16 years. It's family run and is always consistent. Portions are great, not greasey, and when it was closed during covid I really missed them. The location is great, lobby is simple, and you won't regret it.”
“This used to be one of my favorite spots, however the last few times we have been were extremely disappointing. The last 2 times we went we ordered a filet and got sirloin, and not even good sirloin. It was chewy and gristly, and tonight, had absolutely no flavor at all. The service has also gone down hill. It used to be amazing, and now we will likely not go back. What changed???”

“To those talking about the hours have not been in the restaurant business during Covid clearly. The workers our tired and very nice people when it gets slow they close it’s very easy to understand that. They have always served me the hottest freshest food and they are reasonably priced, thank you ccs for being the most decent Italian place in this side of fisherville :) much love keep up the good work guys.”

“The staff are always working hard at handling rush hours. Only complaint, not necessarily on the workers but more so on the customers is, out of the 3 times we have been here, our mobile order has been stolen off the mobile shelf 2 out of 3 times. The staff are always kind at helping sort it out but the situation is mildly frustrating when we place an order for pickup at a set time but then have to wait 30 minutes past for it to be made again. I wonder if this is a common occurrence here or if our luck has been low each time we have placed a mobile order.”
“We were seated quickly, the restaurant wasn't full, menu choices were plentiful, but when I ordered fish and chips with malt vinegar, I was told that there was no vinegar available. I asked if they had any vinegar and still the same answer. I didn't ask, but I'm fairly certain that they offered oil and vinegar as salad dressing, which would be acceptable. Note that this chain was founded in New England, where malt vinegar is routinely served with the dish. So I ordered grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. My wife ordered a burger. The soup came in a tiny bowl and was cloyingly sweet, the taste reminiscent of spaghetti-o's without the Os. The grilled cheese was fair, but didn't appear to be actually grilled. It was more like melted American cheese on toast. The burger was unremarkable, but not bad in any way. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The price wasn't too high considering the recent economy.”

“Employees friendly, good service and absolutely the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life with the no1 combo had the Mac n cheese for the side which was also delicious, can't wait to try the other chicken sandwiches. Ordered a six piece plane wing for home which were a bit small, but very good. Haven't had the regular chicken yet, but it looked delicious behind the counter, Highly recommend ?”
