“We wanted Italian tonight and was pleased to find Cartellis North End right in Dover. Service was great. You can actually see the kitchen from anywhere you sit. Even though the place is small and noisy, the atmosphere was quaint and the food was delicious. I heard they give large portions, so we ended up each ordering appetizer and splitting an entree but still brought some home. Loved the spinach/artichoke dip. The chicken wings looked delicious but the penne vodka with shrimp dish was wonderful. Thanks for being so close to home and bedtime wishes to expand some day soon.”

“My wife and I went to Diverge for dinner and little bit ago. I had been looking for something out of our regular and I frequently check the reviews ahead of time. I had seen multiple posts about Diverge, so I pulled up their info, and I have to say, I also loved how the owner replied to reviews (especially the negatives). So, we decided to give it a go. I called ahead to see if reservations were required. They aren't, but they took my info, since I was already on the phone. When we arrived, it was just a short wait for the type of table we wanted (high-top vs low). It seemed pretty quiet for a Friday night. We ordered an appetizer of Pork Belly which was amazing and so tender. highly recommend. My wife got the Cod and I went with the NY strip, medium rare. My wife doesn't eat a lot at once, and after the app, she couldn't eat much of the Cod, but she loved it and was happy to finish it later at home. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and the scalloped potatoes were to die for! My wife doesn't generally enjoy potatoes, but she had a couple of bites of these. We made sure to let them know, too. The asparagus was also perfectly seasoned. I will admit, I'm a bit of a steak snob, and generally prefer my own home-cooked version. This one was well flavored and tender. It did come out a bit cooler than I'd like (might have waited a few for the piping hot potato), but when I mentioned it, they were more than accommodating. Also, there was a party of 12 whose order went in, and came out, just ahead of ours, so I'm quite certain that factored into the timing. It wasn't a big deal, and they handled it with grace. Against our norm, we decided to try the Chocolate cake with ganache and fresh strawberries for dessert. Again, my wife only had a few bites, and I'm diabetic so maybe it was silly of us to order, but it was also very tasty and quite rich. Even though we were sharing it, we brought about ½ of the cake home to finish later as well. Diverge is tucked away, behind Lexie's (one of our kids' favorite burger spots), enough so that you might not know it's there. We recommend giving Diverge a try and we'll be back! A side note dor those who like to plan ahead: like other businesses moving along the trend, their prices are cash prices and do have a small fee for cards to cover processing fees. It is plainly written on the menu, and we knew ahead of time, so there was no surprise. I'd say 4.5+ out of 5. Well done, Diverge!”

“Excellent food and drinks! A fun spot to go for martinis. I've lived in the area for over 4 years and hadn't stepped in until last night. The pecan crusted chicken is SO TASTY. I would order that again in a heartbeat. We also had the buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken was crispy and hot and the sweet potato fries were a nice accompaniment. They also brought out rolls with strawberry butter.

I tried 2 martinis, the grapefruit cosmo and the lemon drop (but I switched the blueberry vodka to raspberry vodka). Both were really good.

The place is split into 2 sections. The right side is the bar, which was packed and we weren't able to get a spot there. The dining room area to the left is a little bit quieter.”

We want to make sure she is given a nice job….she’s an asset to your team….food was delicious….4 of us came back on Saturday for salmon….excellent again… Thanks to the staff, cooks and food we will be in many times again.”

“I love The Brunch Club! I usually get takeout and have never had a bad meal. I love their breakfast (those homefries especially!) but their lunch sandwiches are where its at. Good quality, well made, and always delicious. Shout out to the team in Dover, also, who are absolute rock stars!! As I mentioned, I usually get takeout, and have always had a great experience, even if its for a quick pick up - always smiles, a quick greeting from not only the host but the cooks, as well. The people truly are the best part (and its hard to top their food!) Embarrassingly, I recently ordered online from the Rochester location without realizing it, and went to Dover to pick it up. Tomer handled it amazingly. Despite my screw up, they were happy to call Rochester to cancel my order, and make it in Dover for me. I so appreciated him helping me to fix my own mistake and with a smile on his face. This team takes great pride in what they do and it shows!”

“Two Bees was such a delightful find! Everything about them was perfection. Walking into the cafe, the decor is lovely with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river. The staff was so sweet and just lovely authentic people. But the offerings they had were simply divine. Their croissant was reminiscent of European quality, all their ingredients were fresh and tasty, but the best thing was their passion fruit tart- outstanding! Very highly recommend this place!”

“My boyfriend and I tried Sara Thai for the first time after passing through the area on a recommendation. We would give it a 10/10. Mai Tais were delicious. Pan fried dumplings were to die for. My boyfriend enjoyed the spring rolls. Pho was also delicious. They also proved to be very mindful of allergies. I have a shellfish allergy and after letting them know and placing our order; they realized the base of what I ordered had a ground up shellfish paste in it, they instantly came out to ask me if it was allergy or dislike. When I told them severe allergy they told me what on the menu I could get as they were out of the base of the vegetarian paste they could use in place of the shellfish one was. Not many chefs or restaurants would think of small ingredients like this being a contamination , so I really appreciated the awareness. Didn’t get pictures of everything, but attached is two great choices!”

“Tucker’s in Dover, NH has been my go-to breakfast spot for years. I’m born and raised in New Hampshire, and now living in Newburyport, MA with my partner, we still make the trip up just to come here, it’s that good! My partner agrees and has even started recommending it to his family back in Massachusetts!

We came in most recently on June 16th around 1:20 PM and had the pleasure of being served by Natalie. She was absolutely wonderful—super friendly, personable, and easy to talk to. We had some great conversations with her and honestly left feeling even happier than usual (and we’re always happy after Tucker’s!). She’s hands down the best waitress we’ve had there so far.

Everything from the food to the service is consistently amazing. If you’re looking for a cozy, high-quality breakfast spot with genuine staff, Tucker’s in Dover is it. We’ll keep making the drive, it’s worth every mile!”

“We had Three Sisters Cake shop make our wedding cake a desserts, including cookies and whoopie pies. They were so amazing from start to finish- and everything was incredibly delicious. Their team was amazing. They worked within our budget, were super easy to communicate and make adjustments with. Our only regret is not ordering more whoopie pies because they were a hot commodity at our wedding!!

The hardest part of working with them was narrowing down what flavor cake and frosting to get. We loved Three Sisters and can't wait to go back and get treats for years to come! Thank you Holly and team!!”

My dear friend Robert, is visiting from Virginia for the month of June. We usually visit at least three times weekly. “The Olde Craft Bakery : My daughter had been gluten free for a long time. We purchased this bread at the beginning of the summer farmers market and continued to purchase it weekly. It is fermented which breaks down the gluten. Not only could she eat it and not have her belly hurt but it tastes amazing as well! The whole family is hooked on The Olde Craft Bakery bread. We’ve tried just about every bread they’ve offered - all delicious. Another plus, unlike processed breads, one slice is filling. The loaves freeze well too. Thank you For making delicious, healthy bread for my family!”

“My best friend and I are phô fanatics and had been pretty let down by the quality of our once favorite Thai place. We went searching for a new place to try and stumbled across Thai Taste. When I tell you this is absolutely our new favorite restaurant, I am not exaggerating. The meat in the phô was so tender it fell apart. The noodles had the right amount of bite, the veggies were fresh and the broth was to DIE for. Our crab Rangoon and dumplings were also amazing. That’s not even what really made this experience amazing though! The customers there seemed to be regulars and were so kind and easy to talk to. Topping it off with ridiculously perfect service and an owner who was clearly passionate, talented, and kind - it was clear this was a rare gem. Do yourself a favor and go. I live in Manchester and I will gladly drive the hour just to go here. They have a customer for life.”

“New Hampshire location: large pizza shop in downtown Dover. Ready to go slices of all kind, or you can place a separate order. They took my order right away. The food is fresh and piping hot. I went multiple days during my visit. Beverages choices (in the cooler) were soda, tea, water. The restaurant is not air conditioned- they leave the doors open for circulation but it's hot in there. If it matters to anyone else, the restroom was clean!”

“This place just had an upgrade of paint, decor and staff uniforms. Not sure if it is under new ownership? Looks much better. Signs are easier to read. The portions are huge. Need a tiny tiny size for toddlers is my only complaint. Prices are pretty high, as much as a pint of ice cream at the grocery store. Overall, easy to park, easy to get to the window, and decent ice cream. Great activity for families. You can sit in your car, or outside on nice seating area.”
