“ABSOLUTELY recommending this place!! The restaurant set up was so nice and cozy. The customer service was great. Will definitely be coming back more than 10 times lol, the food was just so good and I loved the vibes from this place. Also so many items on the menu and the boba is super good!!“
“A winner! As vegetarians, it is great going into a restaurant where everything on the menu looks tempting. Our meals were tasty, ample servings of fresh food cooked and seasoned expertly. Cocktails were excellent and the whole experience was wonderful.“
“On our way to this quaint hole in the wall bar, we stopped here as our stomachs rumbled. And boy I'm glad we stopped! From electric personalities crafting dishes of art in the kitchen that you can watch from the bar, to the from scratch food it's self. No carton broths here, no shortcuts. Authentic Ramen and Asian Street food. This is the place to detour too.I myself got the okonomiyaki, which is a dish I've -always- wanted to try. From the heavy proper drizzling of kewpie mayo and Japanese barbecue sauce, to the savory doughy inch thick goodness filled with lightly pickled cabbage, tender pork belly and chunks of sliced shrimp and seafood. Topped with billowy Bonito flakes. This dish is salty, mouthwateringly savory, hint of sweetness and -filling-.You definitely get that and more for what you pay for. And watching other dishes being prepared in front of me, I gotta come back again and again, to eat through the menu!Vegetarian options: They made Califlower look -AMAZING-“
“My wife and I enjoyed having the Korean BBQ Bibimbap. It was mouthwatering and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying this dish as it's one of my top 10. They had multiple options for protein, and we chose the beef.We enjoyed that we were seated soon after we arrived, and we enjoyed that the food came in deep cast iron skillets. The staff was pleasant and friendly.“
“This is the best Pad Thai in Portsmouth. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere is nice. The Pad Thai deluxe has a slight spice but not too much and the shrimp and chicken in it are perfect. The prices may be a little higher than other places outside of Portsmouth, but overall is around the typical prices you’ll find in Portsmouth. I have been multiple times now and have not had a bad experience and will continue to go!“
“Excellent food, service, and location. Tastes great, very nice place to sit and eat, not rushed at all. Food was amazingly fresh - larb salad. Very nice conversation with the hostess, you can tell they want your business. We’re so glad we found this (almost) hidden gem!“
“We visited the new What the Pho in downtown Newmarket and it was wonderful! The atmosphere is cozy as it is located in an old mill building with cool vibes. The food is spectacular and the service was top notch! I had the Chili and Garlic Shrimp Appetizer that was off the chart good! My entrée was the Pho with Chicken and shrimp and the broth flavor is excellent with just enough kick to it. The owner of this restaurant (Chris) has a very successful Savannah Kitchen and they are continuing the quality with WTP. Do yourself a favor and make sure you come in and check it out!“
“Everything was excellent. The fish tank was outstanding. I walked in looking for a lunch and got the fastest service, I have ever had. Two delicious spicy salmon handrolls and a cup of green tea, my favorite meal. Could not have asked for a better experience, start to finish. And I'm not kidding about the fish tank; huge channel cat.“
“Excellent, authentic Thai cuisine. The menu features a generous selection of dishes, some familiar Thai favorites like satay and pad Thai; and others more novel like the Eggplant Pad that I had with vegetables. My wife grew up in Durham long before this restaurant opened, so long ago that memories of the space as a movie theater opened our dinner conversation. It was great to step into a welcoming restaurant new to us and have a very satisfying meal. We finished with a delicious mango sticky rice. I have never had this before. Brilliant contrast between the chilled sweetness of the mango and warm sticky rice. Delicious.“
“We went in on a Saturday around 5:30ish. There was a wait, so we sat in the bar (which wasn't very busy yet). we had fabulous tempura, flavorful Crab Rangoon, and egg rolls for appetizers. The coconut shrimp entree was a bit sweet, I wouldn't order that again, but it was very fresh and delicious otherwise. The spicy beef wasn't very spicy but, again, delicious. As the bar got busy, we were not neglected (even though we weren't drinking). The service was fantastic. We will definitely go again.“
“We have tried Chinese food from around the world and the flavours here are on par with some of the really good food that we have had. Definitely recommend the spicy chicken popcorn with their homemade spice. The fried rice had that wok hei that makes it so irresistible. The crab soup dumplings were lovely and bursting with flavour and didn't burn our mouth so that's a plus. The crab Rangoon was the first rangoons we have had here that actually had crab in it and it definitely makes a difference. We had enough leftovers to take home and make another meal out of it so the portions are generous and well worth the price.“
