“HIRE THEMMy husband and I worked with WA for almost a solid year planning our February 2024 wedding. So we have a very good understanding of this business, how it operates and its staff. 5 stars for sure. Jay, Liz, Victoria, Alice – all wonderful people with integrity who pay attention to detail. We would highly recommend this caterer, and their restaurant in Exeter called MILA.Before contract signed:Chef Jay rolled out the red carpet for us in the tasting. He invited us into their industrial kitchen in Dover, just Greg and I, and cooked (what felt like) their entire menu in front of us. Everything from shrimp to a rack of lamb to beef tenderloin to appetizers. Prosecco, red wine, desserts. We’re big food people – this tasting alone was one of the most unique experiences we’ve ever had. And it didn't feel like a sales pitch.Pre-planning:Victoria and/or Liz immediately responded to any questions. Everything was organized. We encountered a few challenges (like us having to change venues unrelated to catering – the WA was our outside caterer) and they did everything possible to accommodate. There were no surprises or gotchas in their pricing: the company was transparent and reasonable. Both my husband and I felt like were dealing with honest brokers.Wedding Day:Everything went according to plan. The food was excellent (we asked Jay to prepare beef cheeks for the meat, and they accommodated). It was probably the first wedding we’ve been a part of where the guests left full. Chef Jay walked out of the kitchen and talked to Greg for a few minutes, congratulated us. They didn’t just serve food, they really added something to the day.This is a very special business that we hope to use for other “life” events. The owners care about their customers and it really sets the entire culture of the company. You’ll get everything you pay for and more by supporting the White Apron. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.“

“This place is incredibly special. I have always had an interest in aquaculture and Sheyne and Dylan know what they are talking about. Sheyne was incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable. “Victoria Tobin and the Mezzanine team did a stunning job for our wedding in July 2023. It was an 85 degree and humid day and you wouldn't know it at all with the quality of the food and coldness of all our beverages. It was such a delight to do the tasting with Victoria and her team in their NH office space and get a sense for how we could customize our meal and what the price break down would be. She was clear with us every step of the way and I think that is really such an important thing in planning out any catering event, let alone your wedding meal. We were able to serve a multitude of pies in place of wedding cake, we had our cocktail hour in a separate location from the reception and nothing seemed to phase Victoria and her team. They were terrific throughout the whole night. Thank you again for making all the food and drink at our wedding a wonderful experience.“

We both had a strong and tasty drink and a beer with the absolutely delicious beer-battered chicken tenders and a charcuterie board.
