“I enjoyed my lunch specials. My fav was the veg lo-mein- a lot of nice, fresh thin cut veggies. Great Pork Egg Foo young! The flavors and cook of the food are on the “ lighter” side (some places have darker color/more “fried” PFR for example) But I found everything fresh, hot and was tasty, not greasy and no MSG which I like!“
“Alice and her crew are very friendly and welcoming! We usually order takeout, and it's always ready when we pick it up. My son loves the Gen. Tso's chicken and the egg foo yung. I usually have the chicken wonton soup which is great especially in this cold weather! We're definitely regulars now!“
“Great Asian fusion restaurant on the outskirts of Portsmouth NH. Easy to park, easy to get to off of Rt. 1, very large dining room, great for groups. Big bar and Sushi Bar, along with private dining side rooms too. We had a group of 11 and everyone was happy with their selections. Fresh vibrant cooked dishes and the sushi roll options were stellar. Tasty festive drinks. Our group love the frozen drinks. Waitress was incredibly nice and thorough. Great dining experience. Lunch combos available on a Saturday was a bonus.“
“We showed up they said we probably wouldn't be seated for an hour. They seated us right away. It was our third time having Hot Pot at the Pink Bamboo. But our daughters' friends first time ever. The service is always really good and the food is so delicious.“
“We never went to Yang Ming until 2023 and now we order food from Yang Min or dine in weekly. We are consistently impressed with their high level food quality, great service and fair prices. Our favorite dishes include the crab ragoon, sushi, soups, fried rice, lo mein and orange chicken (huge portions!). Everything we have ordered is fresh and tastes fantastic. Their prices are also so much better compared to every overpriced mediocre restaurant in Newburyport.“
“I used to be a regular but moved away years ago. I still have a Jade Garden magnet on my fridge.I’m home visiting for the holiday and stopped in for the first time in years; it was just as delicious as I remembered. My go-to meal: combo plate with General Tso’s chicken (extra spicy), pork fried rice, and crab rangoons.Nothing fancy, but still my favorite Chinese takeout, even after living in Chicago for 15 years.“
“Decent food but not very accommodating for gluten free. Wasn’t very busy but server was not very attentive. She didn’t understand the menu and was difficult to understand so another staff member helped explain the options. Food portions were generous for lunch items we ordered. Prices were reasonable! Bathrooms are clean and my fortune came true…I was hungry after 1hour ? not exactly what you want when going out for lunch.Dietary restrictions: Not a good place for anyone with allergies especially for egg or Gluten“
“As good as the top couple of Chinese food restaurants in the area. Very good service and great mai taies. We were early so the restaurant was kind of empty but the bar there was totally fullParking: If it looks full there's more parking around the back of the building“
“I was just calling to get a question answered which it was I did not dine there this time. I have nine there before once or twice and it was about a four star maybe a three I don't like the place that much. In general it's too expensive for what you get“
“Love love love love this place. Their food is always so good and so quick. I've gotten them through GrubHub and picked up food directly. Everyone is so nice and their food is so yummy! I never liked egg rolls until I had them from here.Parking: I highly recommend parking down the side road near the Jade. It's almost impossible to get parking directly in front of it but that's because it's a very busy road that it's on“
“Some of the cleanest and freshest chinese food ive had in decades. Visually the place isnt much... typical small plaza shop..nothing fancy. But WOW am I glad I stopped in for a pupu for 2 and a house fried rice. Took a full 20 minutes for my take-out. Why? BECAUSE IT WAS COOKED TO ORDER. Something MANY places dont do. No heat lamps here. Makes a world of difference“
“Amazing. Seems to be under new ownership and everything was so good - from the food to the service. I highly recommend everything we got: crab Rangoon, pork buns, sesame chicken, general tsao's chicken, Singapore Mei Fun noodles, and fried ice cream. We'll be coming back often!“
“I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food.BUTWok the Wok has the best fresh Chinese food I've had in a long time. And the portions are huge. Go with either a big apatite or expectations of going home with food.If you like Chinese food, you won't be disappointed.“
