“B Bakes is a newer spot in Keene that seven of us tried one day for lunch sandwiches. Their menu is on smaller side for their sandwich options, but you can also build your own too. To me they stood out as having some more flavorful options and combinations than your typical deli (think avocado spread, pesto, garlic aioli and roasted red peppers, sprouts, variety of lettuces, etc) and with a variety of breads to choose from. They also have salads and baked goods like big brownies. Cafe itself is clean, with flat screen tv on wall, pretty basic. You order at counter and they bring your food to your table. Would be nice to see more coffee or other beverage options besides the bottled ones like sodas in the cooler. Service was ok-not particularly friendly, but I'll give her a break since it did not likely help it was the end of the day and we were there until closing. All in all I'd go back and will definitely try some of the delicious looking baked goods next time.“
“I tried the cheesecake flavored soft serve with mochi and the black tea with the chewy boba. If I'm being honest, looking at what I ate alone, it's not something I would go back for, especially considering the price. However, the short gal with glasses working there was chill about questions and super nice. Excellent staff are worth their weight in gold. I would go back to try different menu items. Oh and just so the owner knows, the bathroom door did not, in fact, lock once closed. I found out the hard way haha. I recommend a passcode-based entry lock and an additional manual lock.“
“My husband and I bought a variety of cookie flavors to try out for the first time. They are to drool over, delicious! So far I have tried the Double Chocolate Jalapeño and the Chocolate Chip Oatmeal. Tasty, tasty! My cookie order was ready for me upon pickup where I was greeted by the owners, Ben and Sarah. They are super sweet, friendly people. The wrapping and packaging was cute and professional. We will definitely be ordering from this business again soon! Thank you!!!“
“So moving far away and wanted to buy celebratory cupcakes! The owner is incredibly nice- they didn't have any cupcakes on display that I wanted, but they told me I could custom order! So I did. Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate and coffee frosting. I wasn't even expecting sprinkles or nothing and they made it really nice and cute. It's delicious too and fudgey. Buy your cupcakes and cakes from here please! They're so so kind and they were so patient with me (especially kind because I couldn't make up my mind exactly right away since it's a bit tough for me because I'm autistic). Also their lemon cookie was really really good, it tasted just like lemonade. If I ever come back around, I plan on stopping by here for sure!“

“I bought the premise bread at Market Basket. I’m only making this 4 instead of five stars to offer a suggestion. The bread texture is off in a way, when I toast it it is so strange a little like melted plastic or over cooked chicken. I know that sounds strange but I really want to like this bread. It has the best ingredients list of all the bread at Market Basket. But I was pretty disappointed with the lack of bread-y texture. It’s like all nuts and melted plastic. Similar even when not toasted in a different way. I know that’s not very helpful. It’s not fluffy! I bought the multigrain and the cinnamon“
“I am constantly in search of good fresh bread and have found it incredibly difficult to locate a source here in Southern NH. On a recent trip shopping trip, I decided to try the Bred Shed Honey Oat bread. I found it to be incredibly fresh and delicious! Great texture, taste, no preservatives and even better reasonably priced! I look forward to trying any and all of the varieties available. I would highly recommend giving it a try!“
“Just outstanding bread and pastries. I grew up in England and visited France several times a year to see my grandparents. I live for bread and butter and flaky pastries. It is so hard to find baked goods that rival those you can get in Europe, Fire Dog is right up there. The pain au chocolate and cream filled croissant (see pic) were light and perfectly flaky, better than any of the bakeries I have visited in Boston that emulate French baking. And the bread ??? They mill their own flour at the front of the store and so the kids got to watch the process. Staff are friendly and welcoming. An absolute gem.“
