“Delicious food and friendly prompt service. Have had both Chinese and Japanese food her, and both are excellent! This time we ordered a variety of sushi and sashimi. Went with a toddler, and she loved the enormous fish tank which kept her well occupied while waiting after we put in our order.“
“This place is a hidden gem! It’s a small place that has amazing fiod and excellent service .we all ordered sushi . They brought us a complimentary appetizer and surprised my daughter in law with a beautiful birthday dessert ! I can not wait to go back!“
“Decided to check this place out for my birthday dinner and we did not have a single bad thing. Gyoza was amazing, sushi amazing, pad Thai amazing, ramen amazing. Could not recommend this place more! (Also pro tip: it's SUPER small, but you can make reservations)“
“My son and I were enjoying our early dinner at Yoshimama last week and realized we've been eating there for 11 years! I'm embarrassed that I've never written a review and want to correct that oversight now.We feel it is the best sushi in New England! Very fresh, tasty and great service. There are a lot of options for vegetarians - I almost always have sweet potato sushi, tamago sashimi and avocado sushi. My son loves the sushi and also the bento boxes. Here's hoping for another 11 years!Vegetarian options: There is veggie tempura, sushi, edamame, veggie dumpling, crispy tofu, harumaki, tofu teriyaki, and seaweed and green salad.“
“I've been hearing about this place for years but I've never been.If you're not an Asian food fanatic like I am, it's honestly probably a pretty good place to go. The food isn't too weird and the spice is pretty moderate.Personally, I tried the sushi and a cooked dish and neither will happen again. The server did lots of Japanese-ish things that didn't really make sense but I've been there. It might be fun if you're not super into it.“
“I absolutely love Sumo Sushi. Fantastic fresh sushi and sashimi. Never had any problems with any of their preparation of my food. Drinks are delicious too. If sushi isn't your thing they have plenty of options on the menu for other food as well!“
“My husband and I stopped in for the first time today around 4:30pm. I’ll say I wasn’t expecting to see such a nice table layout. They have a nice dinning area, not too dark and the other side of the restaurant was divided for the tavern section to keep it private. Our waiter was very friendly taking our order and came around several times to check in on us.My husband had a coke and I always get a pot of tea. When the food came I was a tad disappointed that it’s the already prepared frozen type china blossom food. Peas in the rice. You know that they did doctor it up with roast pork, scrambled egg, and sprouts.Overall for the food was prepared very good for what it is.The chicken fingers crispy but soft inside, not oily. When I go to a Chinese restaurant I normally judge them by their crab Rangoons. It would be nice for a homemade type wrap over the already made Rangoons. The price was pretty decent for the combination plates we got. Maybe it was the time of day everything was pretty fresh. I will be back to try some other old favorites like Happy Family and lomein.“
“Super friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere alone will bring me back. Not to mention the fresh and super tasty food! It's tough at first to overlook the dingy front room, but beyond that, it is a must try location for Japanese food. The hibachi is in a separate room from the front so you can enjoy a relaxing dinner without the noise of larger parties. The sushi is fantastic, and even our none fish loving group members enjoyed it!“
“I ordered through Door Dash. The food was still hot after a 20 ride to me. The egg rolls were still crunchy, the salad was still cold, soup was warm and the General Tso's was probably the best I've had in New Hampshire! I'll definitely be going there in person soon!“
