“I was hearing great things about this place so gave it a try. my wife and I went absolutely wonderful. service was a 10 and the local people made you feel right at home including you in there conversations bartenders make amazing drinks. the menu is not huge but they have a little bit of everything food was great. but most of all wonderful friendly bartenders,staff and locals. I will surely be going back”

“Came in crowded every waitress was smiling. Very upbeat lunch and breakfast only though. Ordered the "Let's hash it out" choice of house made hash or canned. Who would order that is beyond me. But when it came out amazing. It was a dream in my mouth. It was as good as any deli in New York. This is a must eat place.”

“Outstanding in every way. The food is fabulous and service is impeccable. You cannot beat the atmosphere in this gorgeous Victorian mansion with mountain views out the back windows. They have seating on their porch as well as a unique bar in the basement that you must see if you are lucky enough to visit. We’ve been there three or four times now and I always look forward to going back.”

“Food was excellent. As a yaadie (Jamaican), I can vouch for the authenticity of the food here. The Jerk Chicken and the Oxtail were properly seasoned, if anything, a bit mild on the pepper heat side but very flavorful. The chef came out and explained his marinade process and how each dish is cooked from scratch, and it is evident in the food. In fact, my picky 9yo wanted chicken tenders without any seasoning and the chef whipped up a batch without a fuss and he loved them!server was very pleasant and we really enjoyed the dining experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to this area. Rispeck!!!”

“Me and my husband went here for the corn maze and it was fantastic. Not easy and not just for kids. They do have tons of activities for kids. This place has more going on than most. Shop has a good selection of stuff. I love any farm that sells their own meat. We grabbed some of their stuff ice cream. Delicious. Highly recommend.”

“This place is unreal- amazing food, friendly staff, great atmosphere, and incredibly clean. It’s hard to believe that their baked goods are gluten free! I think they are also dairy free. “This place slaps! I grew up coming to North Conway every weekend and have been to nearly every restaurant/food stop in the area. This is by far the best food I have had. “We stopped in because it’s hard finding seafood in the area in the winter season. The restaurant looks really cool with all the ocean decor! We ordered 3 captains platters and some clam chowder! The sea food was fantastic for the price! The only thing that I disliked was the clam chowder! It was really watery, cold and unseasoned. Other than that we all loved the seafood! It’s really impressive for being nowhere near the ocean! We will definitely be returning!”

“The Underground Bakery & Cafe is a very cozy and comfortable place. They had so many delicious options I got the House sandwich with steak and it was amazing and very savory, the pretzels with the sandwiches are so good too. The staff were so polite and friendly. Good portion size for the price. The pastries all look fresh and delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try all their amazing pastries.”

“This is a quant little locally owned establishment, it has stepped up in technology as far as ordering and paying for it, and still keeps the old time Pizza/Sub shop vibe going. They even have outdoor seating when the weather is right. I would recommend it.”

“Max's Restaurant is the perfect combination of cozy and elegant, tucked away off the beaten path in the charming town of Eaton. As guests who typically stay right at Snowvillage Inn, it's so nice to be able to just walk downstairs to dinner, especially on those colder New Hampshire winter nights. From the servers to Darlene (the bartender) to owners Jennifer and Kevin, everyone at Max's is so hospitable and make you feel right at home. On my most recent stay at Snowvillage, we made a reservation at Max's on Friday night and planned on going out and exploring somewhere else in town for Saturday but we loved our meal so much, we ended up staying in both nights! On both nights we started with the ahi tuna nachos which were the perfect shareable appetizer. Night 1, I ordered the seared scallops which were perfectly cooked and were served over a parsnip puree and finished with a pomegranate molasses. So delicious, I could have licked the plate! And the salmon roe on top added a nice salty touch. Probably my favorite dish of the weekend! Night 2, I opted for the catch of the day, a delicious Asian-style halibut topped with seaweed and roasted garlicky mushrooms served over a bed of japonica rice. So flavorful! Don't skip out on dessert too! The flourless chocolate torte and New York style cheesecake were both the perfect sweet endings to a wonderful meal. We can't wait to return again very soon!”

Salads are really good as well. Went 3 times in 5 days. Service was also really good except for one waiter who seemed to be distracted by something. Brought wrong drinks and gave us the wrong check.”

A few bites of donut held us over until lunch was ready, and they were the perfect snack after a day in the mountains. We got Boston cream, Italian wedding cookie, and chocolate donuts—all great flavors! We will definitely stop here again, or pick up her donuts at The Met.”
