Had dinner at Athens one Friday night. We both enjoyed our dinners but instead of a side of twoStarches….it would have been nice to have a rice and veggie or potato and veggie. Other than that, it was a good night. P

Nice family atmosphere. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Friendly hostess and staff. Food was great! Portions were very generous. I would have gave 5 stars if the food I originally wanted was not sold out. Overall great experience. I will come back again for what I missed out on.

Great value, huge portions, warm service! Ordered the tenderloin on a stick and roast lamb. Tenderloin was perfectly cooked but roast lamb was slightly dry. The meat was a little under seasoned for me but I liked the flavor of the vegetables.

Stuck in the past in all the best ways. Service was super, coffee and cake was yummy. Four of us dined- lamb was the epitome of how braised lamb should be. Plenty of lunches and entrees to choose from. Can't wait to return. It always appears "slow", I've never seen more than three parties in at a time. So it's quiet and oh so worth it.

I’ve been here before it has always been excellent. Wife had prime rib must of weighed 2 pounds and cooked perfectly. I had two lamb chops more like four when they consider two rib bones one chop. They were huge perfectly cooked and tender. Sides are awesome and huge. Greek salad comes with must meals and is also huge. Nice wine list also with offerings from Greece. Service was also excellent.They have the largest selection of lamb dishes I have ever seen. The hardest part was choosing one!! ?.Forgot to take pictures next time.If you like Greek cuisine then you won’t be disappointed if you have never tried Greek cuisine you won’t be disappointed. Oh and I can’t forget about the baclava home made and big enough for two.

We went to Athens after a last minute delay caused us to be delayed in downtown Manchester and we needed to eat. When we googled restaurants nearby, up popped Athens. We like Greek food and lamb in particular, and the die was cast. We started with a feta and Kalamata olive appetizer and ordered lamb skewers with green pepper onions rice and potatoes. The substantial appetizer paved the way to a huge Greek salad with the crispiest coldest lettuce and vegetables. The lamb was very tasty and cooked to perfection, mine med rare, my sisters medium. The fluffy white rice with red sauce and potato were also very good. The portions were HUGE! My wife wasn’t feeling 100% and had a bowl of rice lemon soup in chicken broth, again, delicious! The total for the 2 lamb entrees, appetizer and bowl of soup was $59.00, a great value, with enough leftovers for at least one more meal. This is a family run business, and more like being invited into a private Greek home, the hostess and waitress served us like family. The dining room was clean, orderly and comfortable. After seeing some of the menu items being serve to other patrons, like stuffed cabbages an stuffed grape leaves, mousaka(spelling?) I can’t wait to go back! What I can’t understand is why there isn’t always a line into this fine restaurant. Great food, great value, and wonderful service…just what I want in a restaurant.
