Came all the way from upstate New York to New Hampshire for event was determined to find myself some soul food and I did exactly that I found other places but my heart was set on mayas kitchen and I’m glad I made this decision on visiting her beautiful restaurant with the best tasting seasoned food ever when I tell you this was the best food I have had in New Hampshire she puts her heart and soul & her passion for food into that ! Had an excellent first time having Maya’s. Jerk chicken fell off the bone without any pressure, spicy but not too much. Collard greens seasoned to perfection. Good portion of oxtail which melted in our mouths. Overall great food, try it!

Lovely establishment. My boyfriend and I attended an event at the hotel across the street, and after a long day, was looking for something to eat for dinner. I suggested African and we went to Maya's Kitchen a block away. He never had African before but I suggested the okra beef and spicy rice, and I got the jerk chicken with the mac and cheese. It was delightful! A couple of root beers to wash it all down, and a quick chat with the owner was a pleasant surprise. We'll visit again...read full review
