“Would have given 5 stars,but was shocked at how much priceshad gone up! Not only that but portions were another smaller,and flavor was different? I had casserole with ground beef,corn,and mashed potatoes. Sorry I can't remember name of dish,maybe Chinese pie??? My husband has Chicken Parm, 3 small pieces of chicken swimming in sauce. This used to be one of his faves-not anymore. Place was empty at 5 thirtyish maybe 6 to 8 others. Service was slower than normal. Very disappointing!“

“Wow! So The Dam Grille is like a dream come true for me when it comes to having a great grille and bar in Pepperell. I have so many great things to say, I'll try not to drag on too long:Atmosphere:My friend and I walked in on Friday evening to a restaurant that was just absolutely alive and has full to the brim of friends catching up and listening to the live performers on stage for the night. It felt like the place to be, which as much as I love my quiet farm town I never thought I'd say about anywhere in Pepperell. We were torn between finding a table inside and listening to the music or going out back to the much more serene and sunlight screen room over looking the river. We decided the later, and what a beautiful gem of a place to be able to dine (see the pics, it would be an incredible date spot).Food:I genuinely believe this is one of the best burgers I've ever had at a restaurant. I travel a lot. I've been all over the US and Canada, Europe (which is less known for burgers) and as a foodie I love checking out new restaurants so I've had my fair share of experiences and yeah, the bun was buttery and toasted, the meat was juicy and tender, they accommodated my request for grilled onions and jalapeños and it was just so delicious and filling.I also got a cocktail that was not a baby pour, it packed a punch and was worth the price tag.Speaking of price, another thing I love about this place is how reasonable priced everything is. You really can't beat going out to dinner with live music, getting a huge burger and waffle fries and a cocktail for $25. Especially considering it's a 4 minute drive away.Service:Our waitress was incredible. Even though the restaurant was at capacity and very busy, we were never left waiting. Our drinks came early, and the food only about 15 minutes after we ordered. Another thing I want to point out, my friend is unable to eat pork and her burger accidentally came out with bacon. This is the kind of stuff that inevitably happens at restaurants. What sets good ones apart from bad ones is how it's handled.As soon as we alerted our waitress she was so apologetic and handled it right away. Instead of just taking the bacon off, they cooked a fresh brand new burger for. The waitress brought it out and let us know to never feel bad about letting them know they made a mistake. WOW! Just incredible service (I so badly wish I could remember her name- she had blond curly hair and was the waitress for the back screen room on Friday May 3rd around 6/7pm)So I just have too many good things to say. My friends and I will be back here often, especially since we learned they'll be having trivia nights on Tuesdays. Being in our early 30s, how freaking cool is it to have a place in town that has this kind of stuff instead of needing to drive to Boston? They are going to do so well and draw customers from Dunstable, Groton, Townsend, Nashua and it's all well deserved.“
