“As a local surfing bum, it's essential to have a spot within walking distance of the beach at which I can grab some good coffee, hearty food, and strong WiFi. Common Roots has a surplus, boasting an inviting atmosphere which has helped to make it a local watering hole for the townsfolk of North Hampton and Rye. The owner is warm and focused on bringing the best experience possible to customers. His leadership cascades to other employees, so you feel the TLC with every interaction. Be sure to stop in next visit to Rye! Did I mention they sell beer too??“

“Everyone was always nice when we stopped by, wait time was great for having all fresh ingredients. Bowls always look beautiful and delicious! Just wish you could substitute without being charged the extra.Kid-friendliness: Love that there are so many fruit and base options. My child’s new obsession are these bowls and that’s a win for me!“

“I was given a special tasty treat today visiting Laney & Lu for the first time. This is an amazing place, very spacious with an outdoor patio, very neat and clean, plenty of parking (which is an anomaly for Portsmouth), excellent customer service and the food is delicious and divine! This is perfect combination if you want to relax and sit in and dine and or or if you want to eat quick and go but want something healthy, nourishing with high quality ingredients and taste. I had the best egg sandwich of my life, a Biscuit & Gravy Organic egg over easy with cashew mushroom gravy, walnut chorizo, spinach, micro-greens, scallion, served on gluten-free sweet potato biscuit. It was flavorful and fresh. In addition, they have an assortment of tasty and fresh pastries, designer coffee, espresso drinks and herbal teas. I had a "Macro" doughnut which was delightfully sweet, moist on the inside with a lustrous coat of sweet maple walnut glaze on the outside. I had the tea with Ashwaganda, gingko, lavender, tulsi, schisandra berries and it cleared my sinuses. Happy to have found this place, I am definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu.“
“Had to kill some time today before an appointment in Portsmouth so I decided to grab an acai bowl because i was getting pretty hungry and i had no idea how long my appointment afterwards was going to go... Best decision ever! Even tho it was busy, the woman at the counter (Ella? Bella?) got my order done quickly, deliciously, and with a real smile.“

“Great gluten free bagel. It's plain, but not... plain plain. Lots of GF options to eat and drink.Unfortunately, the menu uses a poor font where all the letters or a word are capitalized and very close together. This makes it hard to read from far away, whose vision isn't great, or for those where English isn't their first language. So, grab a menu from the rack by the door.Dietary restrictions: Gluten FreeWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp to upper dining area by the counter, but not sure the tables are wheelchair friendly.“
“I am an Uber eats driver in Portland and by far this is my most favorite place to pick food up from. Very friendly staff, transparent, amazing food and just a place that deserves all of ths business that it gets. Really not sure how they do it, but they do it and very well! Rock on Uber driver Brent“

“Amazing! Been wanting to see what this place had to offer and finally went! The girl at the counter greeted me when I first walked in and was super nice!I went to the freezer, that is there as soon as you walk in, and they had a whole bunch of flavors! I got vanilla, Graham Central Station and Monkey Around(it was buy 2 get 1 free) and all were amazing!! My family loved each one and the icecream is fluffy, creamy and you can taste the difference! Bunch of real ingredients! They also have a bunch of candy and little treats you can have, but I was there for the delicious icecream!!Def got a handful of new customers!“

“The #bageltour2024 has kicked off this year and I'm looking forward to more raisin bagels and hot tea along my route! I haven't been to this one before but if you stop on the corner of B St and Ashworth Ave at Hampton Beach you'll find a little Cafe called Flamingos Coffee Bar. They do have bagels and hot tea (I don't drink coffee).... Let's try this... The bagel was pretty good, flavorful and lots of raisins. What a raisin bagel should taste like. They do have plenty of lunch items here to choose from with a beachy atmosphere. I like it and would definitely come back again. Parking in front of it is convenient right now but won't be this summer. I'll post pic and the receipt. Little high in price but I'm going to say it's typical pricing for a touristy town.“

“We just went for drinks, but heard breakfast is amazing so asked to look at that menu and WOW IT LOOKS SO GOOD.Everything on the dinner menu looked awesome too and we will definitely be going back to eat. I'm always looking for good breakfast spots so I'm super psyched this is close by!Atmosphere was chill, good music and low lighting when we were there around 630.Service was friendly and quick.Beware there is a flight of stairs to get in from the street in case u have a stroller or old person with you!Update: went back for dinner and first of all the wine pours are impressive.Second, the food was great. The menu is not straightforward fare in a good way. Kind of an American spin on Mexican? Went with a couple girl friends we shared the nachos and I got tacos. All was yummy and I would go back!“

“This place is great! I found myself being drawn back here over and over on my Portsmouth visit. I really like the selection of drinks they have. They had some really nice fresh fruit options that weren't milk heavy. My wife and I are already talking about when we can get back here.“

“Kudos to the chef for creating such yummy dishes! My favorites are Key Lime Smoothie Bowl (seasonal), Cashew Caesar (sub GF bread) and Falafel Mediterranean. They are very respectful of food allergies, which I appreciate. I love the fresh, tasty ingredients...just be prepared to pay a bit more. Exeter location is usually quite busy and seating is limited. In warmer months, outdoor space helps alleviate seating issue. Head over to beautiful, new, spacious Portsmouth location for more elbow room.“

“The juice box is located inside a local clothing store with its own seating area. There are plenty of seats and it seemed a lot of people working on their computers. I can't speak to their food/juices as I only ordered coffee and a chai tea. They have alternative milk options (almond and oat). The drinks were good but nothing that stood out as extra special.Staff was extremely nice and service was VERY fast. They have locked bathrooms on the premises for customers only.“
