“We had a really good time at Elixir restaurant in WRJ VT tonight. The menu had several starter options and two pages of dinner entree options. I had a difficult time deciding what to order because everything sounded yummy.Our waiter was very informative and super friendly. He was able to share some great details about individual menu options such as how something is made, the flavor profile, the quality , etc.. He asked questions about our preferences and was very attentive. He made us feel like our experience and satisfaction mattered. The food was so delicious!We started with the coconut curry mussels. They were cooked perfectly and the coconut curry broth was well balanced and loaded with flavor. The mussels were served with a nice local bread that held up well for soaking up the broth. I ordered the Island Farro Salmon and my date ordered the Shrimp Scampi. Both dishes were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I was also surprised how quickly our food was served. The portions were perfect size too - not too little nor too much food. We both finished our plates and were satisfied but decided to split a dessert because they have bananas foster bread pudding with a rum caramel sauce. It was served with their own homemade vanilla ice cream. Sooo yummy!! A must try!We were also impressed at the waiter wiping the crumbs off our table after our dinner and before dessert.The atmosphere is relaxed.”

“This was my first time eating at New Thailand. I came for lunch with my date. The place was busy but not overcrowded. Noise level was tolerable. We were immediately greeted at the door when we walked in and were given a table. The server came promptly and took our drink orders while we decided what to eat. I chose the chicken yellow curry and my date had the lo mein. We didn't have to wait long and the food arrived hot. My curry was well executed but quite sweeter than I expected due to the copious amount of pineapple in the dish. My date's dish was also tasty but he said his noodles were over done. Despite the minor flaws we still enjoyed our meals and would like to try the other dishes another time. Everyone was polite and attentive. The main negative to our dining experience was a strong smell of cleaning fluid that we noticed when entering the restaurant and it seemed to persist throughout the meal.”

“Once again trying out Harpoon Brewery at their Windsor location. I have have had good luck with with Harpoon in the past and this experience was no exception to this positive trend of experiences. Steve and I had their New England Pale Ale which we both really enjoyed a lot! Flavor features to find with this beer are hoppy and juicy. It is light bodied and comes across as very refreshing and is bright in color. A very pleasant drinking experience with Harpoon once again! Cheers!”

“Wow, what a fantastic taco place! Driving through the area, was looking for something quick, so so glad we stopped here. We got the carnitas, shrimp, cod, and chicken tacos. The street style and taqueria style were both good. Fresh tortillas!! Yes!! The shrimp and carnitas were incredible. Definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back sometime soon”

The Caesars salad was probably one of the best I've ever had. The peppery poiver Steak was the definition of savory. The Atlantic Char was nestled in a subtle white cream sauce that boosted the experience without overwhelming the flavor of the fish.For dessert, we shared a lemon blueberry compote trifle and a rich chocolate tort that was just enough to satisfy that chocolate urge!If you're in the area, we highly recommend stopping by Thyme. “Pho is really outstanding. Nothing in this area comes close, and it's better than pho I've had at Vietnamese places in Boston and San Francisco. It's one size, not a huge portion but damn it's good. The curry dishes are all delicious. Haven't had the banh mi, but the house sandwich is very tasty. Chicken satay is tender and pounded really thin. The spring rolls are crunchy and made fresh to order. To the reviewer who said the pad thai was not authentic: it's tasty and looks like what Pai made in her Hot Thai Kitchen video. It's not a gloopy brick of orange noodles, which is what Americanized pad thai seems to have become. Having said that, if you really want Thai food there are some good Thai restaurants just over the river in the Hanover/West Lebanon area. I'm partial to Pim's Thai Orchid, but there are several to choose from.”

“The food, as always, was delish. The biggest issue is was with the service. We understood that there was a show and that the servers would be a little busy. But even after the crowd cleared out, the servers were still a little absent. Again, I understand the situation, but it was a little disappointing.”
