“The cookies are absolutely out of this world!! I finally got over there for the first time today, as I've heard so many good things about it! Katie's Cookies surpasses all my hopes for flavor, softness, size & pricing. This place is 100% a must try!“

“THE place in the upper valley to purchase cakes for your special occasion. The strawberries and whipped cream cake is our favorite. Their baked goods, breakfast (smoothie bowl!), and lunch items make it an easy choice when going out with the family.“

“If I am ever back in Dartmouth, I would absolutely come back to this place. They are running a Spanish restaurant in the middle of New Hampshire—not an easy thing to do.I loved the atmosphere and the service was great.I would never hold up this restaurant to the standard of restaurants in Spain. However, I feel there is more that they can do in the kitchen to improve the food, even with local ingredients. They have something great going on, just need to keep working the kitchen.“

“Fun little bakery/coffee shop in Hanover walking distance from Dartmouth. We had 3 breakfast sandwiches and a ham and cheese croissant. The sandwiches were good, they were a little dry, but yummy. We got treats for later in the day. Kids really loved their lemon tarts. Homemade chocolates were also good. Not a sit down restaurant, but a solid coffee shop.“
“Stopped by for a quick bite to eat on the recommendation of a grad student attending Dartmouth. Had Avocado BLT. It was heavenly and makes my mouth water just thinking of its. Service was excellent, attentive, and kind. Would definitely go back.“

“This is the only wholesale club in the Upper Valley and for at least a 50-mile radius. The nearest is another BJ's in Manchester, while Costcos are even further away, in the Burlington or Nashua areas. So it's a welcome retail option for the Upper Valley. Like other BJ's I've been to - and unlike, ahem, Costco - everything is neatly organized into well-labeled aisles. They're going to try to pack as many impulse purchases as possible along the main trafficked aisles, while burying everyday staples like produce, meats, baked goods, and drinks all the way in the back. On this note, I enjoy shopping at BJ's more than Costco because they have sizes (less than what's necessary to supply a small army for a nuclear winter) and varieties (more lower-fat portions of meat and meat patties) that I like. And if you shop at non-peak hours, everything is eerily empty here. Or blissfully empty, depending on your perspective - whether uncrowded aisles, no waits at registers, and plenty of parking spaces. Not bad at all - hence my bumping a typical 3-star chain-store review up to 4.“
