Very cute coffee shop. Has some novelty items like mugs, shirts and nice selection of snacks. The girl who helped me was very nice. I ordered a medium latte with almond milk and it was $8.00, and with a tip $9. it was a bit much... I’ve only paid that much for a coffee in NY. Starbucks isn’t even charging that. The latte was ok, generic almond milk, it was your average coffee shop late. I get trying to support small businesses but that’s quite a markup.
Village Bean is an excellent little coffee shop in Village Green of Windham on Route 111. The breakfast menu is quite limited but the breakfast sandwiches are most certainly better than those served on the other side of the Interstate next door to the Mobil station. When it comes to your “bean” you have many choices with plenty of made-to-go coffee types available as well as actual beans to take home and prepare yourself. Delicious muffins and the friendliest staff! It was such a nice atmosphere when I popped in. Clearly a community hub and locals favorite. The chai tea latte was very good although a bit sweet for me. Looking forward to returning and hanging out here.
