“I recently had the pleasure of attending a Networking & Fundraiser Event at 3BR Distillery, hosted by the wonderful Jackie Berman of LegalShield. Free street parking was right outside, so I lucked out. The spacious venue offers the perfect setting for large networking gatherings and business events.As I walked in, I couldn't help but notice the expansive bar stretching across the room, accompanied by a tantalizing array of cocktails. Vibes of the venue were lively and spacious, with a touch of Russian decor, carpets adorning the walls, and a mixture of comfy seats and lounge chairs tied into their industrious bar and dark walls. At the event, a team from Boombox USA brought their very entertaining portable boombox, blasting music to keep the chill vibes going throughout the night.The bar at 3BR has an innovative take on using QR Codes that line the bar to quickly place orders from your phone that get delivered right at your seat. I opted for Baba's Smoking Pipe, their Viski bourbon style take on an old fashion, with orange & wood bitters. I'd say it was a light cocktail, served with a big cube and orange peel, not too heavy on any one flavor note.Will certainly keep them in mind for more mixers and hope to see what other types of events they host. Could certainly see myself visiting for some local bands at a venue like this.“
“Amazing. Wish I was able to give more than 5 starts. We had a family party for 100 guests in the private party room and every single thing was perfect. The food was amazing, the room was spacious and clean and the staff was terrific. We will definitely be back for dinner, and another party when the time comes!“
“Went after seeing great reviews. It's a little house on the corner of a residential area, so street parking mostly and kinda inconvenient. Ambiance is great and cozy. Service is friendly and prompt. Food is a bit expensive for a bar, but the quality is nice. Wings were great without sauces, perfectly fried and juicy. But, lemon pepper rub was too salty and garlic Parm barely has any taste. Burger was a bit undercooked so I had to send it back the first time. 6 wings for $14, a burger and fries also for $16. Not ideal for frequent hangout.“
“Visited Meximodo for a team dinner. Everyone who worked there was amazing and overall atmosphere was great. Definitely a restaurant made to be photographed.Their tequila and mezcal selection is VAST and can feel overwhelming. The sommelier was super knowledgeable and chose three amazing options for the flight.Food was better than expected based on the reviews although some portions were tiny compared to others. Our group had meat eaters and vegans and everyone was able to find options.Kate R, our server was patient, helpful and very nice. Hands down the staff was great. Them plus the tequila/mezcal selection are reasons to go back.Vegetarian options: Enough to have varied options. All but two vegetarian options could be made vegan.Dietary restrictions: Most vegetarian options can be made vegan“
“Excellent restaurant! Small but very inviting. The menu is eclectic yet down to earth. Daily specials are available. We had the baked clams spl as well as Rosalies salad. For entree, we had the veal piccata and the filet of sole. Dessert was the homemade cheese cake! Utterly delicious.“
“Love coming here! However yesterday’s lemon actually was not made correctly and way too sweet and the Lemon grass was missing. I had brought friends there for first time and recommended the drink which no one liked. Very disappointed.In addition wanted to buy a few bottles of bourbon cream for Christmas gifts, which is awesome, and they were out of it? Left to go to Colts Neck pub up the road and got a better well made drink.“
“This restaurant is a staple for my family and we had an excellent night this past weekend. I ordered the grouper risotto special which was fantastic and paired it with the wonderful Dolce Amaro cocktail (I have had many of the cocktails on their menu and they are all stellar). The waiters/waitresses couldn't be better and the setting is very nice but also brings a feeling of comfort. My family and I will be returning the next chance we get!“
“Had our daughter’s bridal shower in the upstairs Great Room. Everyone commented how gorgeous the room was. It really is exquisite. We had the brunch with the pasta station. The food is off the charts. Everyone was raving about it !!! Corey is a pleasure to work with and amazing at his job. So attentive and quick with answers and responding to emails. The staff was amazing also. Friendly and on top of everything. Next big event I will definitely book again !!! Thanks so much Corey and staff for making our daughters special day even more special !!!“
“My girlfriend and I travel from NJ each year to celebrate our anniversary at Aunt Butchies. All of their entrees are traditional and flavored so well. I personally always order the Sunday sauce and my girls usually ends up picking a pasta dish. She always raves on how fresh the pasta tases. We usually end our night with an espresso and pastry from their bakery that is on the other side of the restaurant. It is a simple tradition we have by visiting Aunt Butchies each year, but it is definitely one of our favorite restaurants.“
“It was our first time dining at Corrado’s on a Sunday. The food was excellent, but the service seemed to be lacking. By the time we paid our bill, we had been sitting down for over two hours and fifteen minutes. Not sure what the holdup was, especially since the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded at the time. Overall, would definitely dine here again in the future.“

“I stepped in for lunch and had filet of sole almondine, and it was soft, hot, and seasoned well. It may have been a bit salty for people watching their diet so make sure you tell them beforehand to go light. The veggies were all tasty, and not overwhelmed by the sauce. The potato croquette was crunchy on the outside and nicely textured on the inside. The bread was fresh and the dipping sauce is fantastic and spicy. The Coca Cola was perfect, not watered down. The man Genarro behind the bar makes sure your experience is good. He told me the fish was tender because they get it fresh and not frozen. I recommend this Italian restaurant.“
“It was our second time there. The food is very fresh and authentic. Many traditional Italian dishes that are well prepared and presented. I had the seafood stew special which was excellent. It was $42 a little pricey but worth it. My wife had the eggplant Parmesan. It was excellent. We tried out the Jersey shore pizza. We thought it was very good.  Service was excellent. We have tried many different Italian restaurants and would definitely go back.“
“A former Banquet Hall converted into a sheik modern designed restaurant; Hudson Square is a departure from the average dining experience in the area.The atmosphere is very relaxing and the low lighting helps encourage a positive experience.We sampled many things from the menu and after reading some of the reviews of not so nicely stated opinions, I really don’t understand why.The Roasted Bone Marrow is a flavor Bomb, so good on the toast points!The Jumbo Shrimo Cocktail was sweet but, a tad pricey; however fresh and sweet shrimp.The Chopped Salad was big enough for 2 to share and was nicely plated.The Seafood Spaghettoni had a good amount of seafood atop some fresh pasta. The sauce was a creamy marinara which had a nice body and bright flavor.NY strip. Beautiful. Tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. Cannot ask for anything else. The hand cut fries were a nice accompaniment and the blistered peppers pair well with it.Our service was very good, very attentive and professional. Lauren was great, and a pleasure to talk with.Coffees and Dessert were a great way to finish.The Tre Leche Carrot Cake is a unique take on the plain old Carrot Cake. And the Bourbon Pecan Bread Pudding is simply divine.I’m sure there are some times that they may have some flaws or hiccups, especially when really busy, that’s to be expected.Overall the 4stars is only because there is no dedicated handicapped spaces close to the entrance and the chairs are a bit narrow if you are of the “bigger” person.Other than that. Highly recommended and hope you enjoy.“
“Today was my first time visiting this establishment. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server approached us immediately and was very polite and friendly. We were given chips and salsa that were so fresh and tasty. We ordered our appetizers and drinks and our meals. Everything came out staggered and in a timely fashion. The tortilla soup was to die for. The chicken wings with the dry rub were the best wings I have ever eaten. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla and the rice and beans side dish. The food was so fresh and tasty. The staff were all so polite and attentive. The prices are fantastic. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again and again. “Even tho this is a chain , they still have great tacos . We stopped for lunch since we were in the area . Prices are a few dollars more from the last time we ordered from the store in New Dorp. The waiter was very nice and friendly and wasn't very crowded when we were there. Great service . Casual atmosphere is always good . Recommend for those taco lovers. Private parking lot as well.“
“Not sure if I should give it 3 or 4 stars because it was good and it’s a really nice restaurant, but for the price … you should not want to eat something after you leave! My husband went to McDonald’s afterwards because he was hungry after spending 300 on dinner. The fact that bread and dessert wasn’t included in that is wild. I never ever finish a meal. I always have food to take home. And I basically licked all three of my plates clean. Nothing to take home. And nothing was really that great either.“
