“My family has been eating their pizza recipe for over 30 years. The dough, sauce, and cheese they use are superior quality. The owners and staff are always friendly and the prices are right!”
“My oldest daughter and I ordered THE&C. That's Taylor ham egg and cheese, and two small bottles of OJ. Total was just under $18.The sandwich was okay. They also have a variety of bagels and deli meats cut to your specific order. The place is great as a convenience for those who live in Panther Valley or for motorists traveling through Allamuchy looking for a cup of coffee and a sandwich; or maybe just a cold drink and a bagel. Either way you'll find something you like.”
“A beautiful little restaurant in the home of Newton. Looks like a house, but the inside is lovely. Ordered pick up take out, drive 25 minutes was WORTH IT! 7 items for $60, food was flavorful, high quality and a nice portion. The butter naan was the favorite. Vegetable samosa little thick with dough but lovely inside. Chaat was a bit disappointing, not as pictured on their online menu and there was very limited yogurt dip. Contained many onions despite that not being listed. Chicken tiki masala was very sweet, good but not traditional tiki masala. Calamari was delicious, never had calamari like that before. The sauce was impeccable. Gulab for dessert was three dough balls saturated in syrup ( not our favorite but that’s a personal opinion).Overall ready to go back and try something new in the menu. Staff very friendly and helpful,”
“Love this place! It is BYOB or you can order a bottle of wine. They do not serve by the glass or have any other alcohol. They have a chefs tasting menu in addition to the 3 or 5 course meal. You may have to ask for it, but it's worth it! Food is always phenomenal.”
“This is one of our favorite go to places. The staff is always friendly and attentive. There is usually no wait to be seated. We have many favorites but the pizza is at the top of our list. The crust is soft and there is plenty of cheese. We love the fresh bread and oil to dip it in that they bring when you first sit down. The bolognese sauce is some of the best that we have ever had. Pasta is always cooked perfectly. Some of the best wings as well. Crispy and flavorful. There are always specials on the weekends and they have a large selection of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. The cannoli are great and the mocha cappuccino is a must. We do wish they would bring back their bruschetta. It was delicious!”
“Didn't even realize this little gem was in town! After getting my son a haircut, we decided to come in for dinner. We've frequented another local Thai restaurant, but this will be our new spot. The food... fresh, hot, delicious. The soups came in large portions and far exceeded my expectations. I tried the ginger soup. Just wow! So fresh and flavorful. The service... friendly, quick, and efficient. Even the cook and/or owner came out to check how everything was. The environment... spacious and clean. This place deserves some hype! Check them out!”
“Been here a few times now for apple picking. A great spot to bring the family and enjoy the fall weather. Family owned and they run a smooth operation. Def. On the list for fall activities.”
“We had a fantastic meal and loved the entertainment! My daughter is celiac and asked us to try this restaurant…. We will be back! Well worth the 50 minute drive to have a gf meal and NOT get sick from cross contamination. Thank you Mama’s Cafe and we will be back soon!”
“A great coffee shop and it was super popular on a Saturday morning. They have good coffee and good prices and actually a great selection of other food and baked goods. The crumb cake looked amazing. They have a bunch of tables and stuff and then they have a few couches in the front room. I think this building used to be a post office which is kind of cool. They have a rather large parking lot and in the back of the parking lot they have a bunch of tables next to a stream. It's a popular spot for People on their bikes because the shop is right next to the Columbia path I think and not too far from the Patriots path as well. They have a drive-thru which was very busy, but it seemed to move quickly. It was busy in a good way that made it feel popular and happening, but they were really quick still because they had at least nine girls working.”
“Drove past the store recently and I couldn't believe my eyes! Welcome to town and I'm so happy you're here :)The cold cuts and bread are amazing. I stocked up on soup and gravy mixes. Found my favorite pickles and so much more. Dzienkuje I witam!”
“Best Italian restaurant ever! The family and food are both amazing! I am a parent of a Centenary University Student and whenever I visit my daughter I come to eat here. The tiramisu and ravioli are as good as anything I’ve had in Italy!!”
“Claude & Joe Branda are amazingThey’re accommodating with last minute reservations even when their books are full.Their staff is amazing for the big parties & for the small tables - lot of local kids - which is great they support the local community.I live in nyc & I know the food I get at brandas is probably better than what I get in the city.Love having family gather there - & the food is out of this world. It’s BYOB which is also niceDon’t miss out on the shrimp with garlic sauce”
“Linda's biscotti are a culinary masterpiece. The wide range of flavors, soft melt-in-your-mouth texture makes each cookie absolutely more amazing then the next. The owner's welcoming presence adds a special touch, making every return feel like coming home to a delicious tradition that's impossible to resist.Dietary restrictions: Gutten-free and nondairy.”
“Guatemalan restaurant, great food and the service was very good. Owned by a young Guatemalan couple. Worth while the visit!Guatemalan restaurant, very delicious food and excellent service. The owners are a young Guatemalan couple. Vela is worth the visit!”
“this is good pizza, with the best deal in town (2 slices and a soda for $5) . Also, they went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and i really appreciated that.”
“Food is amazing and very creative. Have had breakfast lunch and dinner. The only challenge is to decide what to order. Kudos to this talented chef and her son in their kitchen. This is a gastronomic treat from an entire team that does not present any versions of the obligatory standards found on most other menus. The wait staff has a great energy, which adds to the whole dining experience. I travel from PA to experience the food and if it were closer it would certainly be a go-to for me. The attached farm market with its delightful cheeses and treats, as well as unique and wonderfully fun culinary items-and even clothing-make the entire experience a heart-warming and fulfilling journey.”
“Being an avid fan of Caribbean food especially the island food that is from Jamaica and Trinidad and also the fact that I'm a New Yorker. The stage is always set up to get the best Jamaican food. From Queens to Brooklyn and of course Manhattan many Jamaican restaurants claim to be the best and quite a few of them are true to their claim. I work in lake Hopectong area and while driving through the town of Natcong, a small town in Morris County, I saw a sign saying Mini Eagle Diner. Being a big fan of Americana it caught my interest but when I saw underneath the sign Jamaican cuisine, I had to do a double take.... an American diner with Jamaican cuisine,,????. What foodie would not stop for that proclamation alone. So I stopped and all else is a fairy tale tailored for food aficionados. This is a magical place for Jamaican cuisine and The magician's name is James. He is the king of his domain. Without any hesitation I dare to say after tasting many of his creations I have come to believe that I never had the real Jamaican food before. Don't miss out jerk pork and chicken, oxtails so lean , so decadent and all this melts in your mouth. James is a great personality to converse with too. He has stories that will get Irish boatmen attention. A homemade smoker den in the backyard of the restaurant with outdoor seating are true surprise of this tour of his castle. James calls himself a magician and so be it. You have to get out there to experience it yourself. I believe if you can guess his age right, he will award you with a sliver of his homemade rum raisin cake, made of centuries old family recipe.. don't worry if you feel stupefied thinking perhaps it's the rum, ..,.. it's definitely the spells he graciously puts on his customers and somewhat unapologetically... Long live the King.... I shall visit your court soon!!!”
“I stopped by here for lunch while working. I’m not from this area but by the grace of god happened to stumble upon this gem. Best chicken bacon ranch pizza I’ve ever had. I kinda knew walking in, this pizza was going to slap after meeting the staff. They were also very polite. 10/10 ”
“We all know the prices for meats and eggs etc have sored, but the size of their portions and quality of the food makes it easy to come back again and again. Also, they use Boars Head meets, which are natural and not processed. Nice people to deal with. You won't regret stopping in there.”
“Good ice cream, with soft serve and yogurt options. Standard toppings and sundaes available as well. No one here, so no wait. No pre-packed pints or quarts of ice cream, though.”
“Absoluty amazing The employees are the greatest and most niced people ever . The ambiance is amazing and it is always spotless .The ice cream is absolutely esquizet and the flavor selection is amazing”
“Stopped in based on reviews. We are not local, but needed a place to eat after visiting Grandma at a nearby physical rehab facility. We had a 3 hour drive home so we wanted to grab something before heading home. Gotta say, they reviews were right! The food was delicious. My son, who is autistic and therefore a picky eater, would not stop raving about this burger for three days. He said if was the best burger he ever had (not that he is a connoisseur, but still, he is 18 and has eaten lots of burgers). He says he wished that Vinny and Sons would open a location in Delaware. ?It isn't the typical sit down restaurant that I thought if would be, but I didnt really read the info at length before stopping in. I just saw the great food reviews and stopped in. There are 3 tables, so it's obviously more of a take out kind of place, but it was very nice that they had provided a few for anyone who wanted to sit and eat (we preferred to eat at a table than in our car). The service was wonderful and then place was very clean. Lots of variety with the menu choices and a nice selection of grab and go drinks from the refrigerator case (plus fountain soda). Sussex county is lucky to have such a nice family-owned business!”
“While being in the area, decided to stop there for lunch. Local food was good, they had a very decent beer. The view on the lake was extraordinary and in some sense, quite soothing. Prices were decent and service up to par. I'll make sure to stop there if I am ever in the area again.”
“First time. Small cafe just a few seats. Had a Malabar Monsoon pourover. It was pretty good. Very nice selection of single origin coffees. Will be back to try the Ugandan coffee when they have it. Like a mercantile shop also. Very friendly staff and great selection of a wide variety of ”
“OK... So we've been been going to Gaza Ramen for a couple of years, so this review is not only my recommendation for their Gop Dol Bi Bim BAP, but also their consistency in quality over the years that I have eaten here.”
“I was able to receive a free shortie ice cream cake on 2/29 for Leap Year birthdays! The staff were great, helpful, and made it fun! The cake was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend!”
“Has to be the friendliest and most customer centric restaurant in Long Valley. And the food is absolutely delicious! Haven't ordered anything I did not thoroughly enjoy yet!”
“If you give these guys anything less than 5 stars, you are a lier. Their service is amazing, the environment is excellent, location is convenient, and is near the Sweet Bites Delight bakery down on Main Street. Nothing better than grabbing a Tress leches after having a few beers I go here all the time and I can assure you they are one of the bests in the area.”
“Excellent family atmosphere to dine in. Our greeting when my family and I walked in was so welcoming. The waitress were very nice and friendly. They looked like they enjoyed working there. The food was very flavorful and not overpowered with salt. The buffalo chicken egg roll was delicious. My little one enjoyed the mac n cheese with a grilled cheese (just cheddar). I ate some of her meal too! LOL. I had the meatloaf with mash and gravy and sauteed green beans. This entree hit the spot. My husband had the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were lightly coated and seasoned just enough. Now I know when people hear GF dessert, they're turned off. Nope, the GF Black and white cake for dessert was very moist, lightly sweetened, and delicious. This place was fantastic. I will return and recommend that you try it.”
“The service here was fantastic! I only wish the food matched. The burrata app was actually quite good and flavorful, however the lobster ravioli, not so much. The sauce did not have much flavor, and the filling in the ravioli was mealy and subpar in flavor as well. There was a huge pile of spinach dolloped in the center of the plate, and was way too much for my liking. It definitely took away from any lobster flavor that existed. I had to push most of it aside. I would not recommend this dish. The cocktails saved the meal and were quite delicious though.”
