“Comfortable, casual, but classy atmosphere. The service was very friendly and happy to explain any dishes that we weren't familiar with. The food was amazing! I wish I took more photos. We started with the babaganoush and tablouli salad. My husband had the lamb kebab and I had the chicken kofte. Everything was so flavorful and tender. “Scouting for the Food Network App for great NJ Breakfast Sandwiches I placed a quick.pick.up.order..loved the fact you can call, get a live person and place your order. The Name, Salt, Pepper, Ketchup could be the best sandwich shop name ever.. I was in Breakfast Sandwich mode, but made the wrong choice in that I order the Breakfast Sandwich combo which was more of a Cheesesteak with eggs and hashbrowns. It was good, but I was looking for a NJ Taylor Ham Eggal and Cheese with Salt, Pepper and Ketchup.. My fault, with the order. Still was excellent, but I want to go back for the NJ Breakfast Sandwich staple. The Service was excellent. They even had my order in their heater to keep ot warm. Not cheap expect to pay 70+ just for steak but quality was perfect. Wines weren’t that expensive. I’d go back to try their prime rib. In comparison Ruth Chris charges a little less for steak but upsells the wines.“

I got their special fried chicken sandwich - almost like a Katsu fried chicken. Juicy and moist chicken. Avocado, slightly spicy peppers with this great bacon aioli which was amazing. Only complaint is that for a $15 sandwich there is no side. The burgers come with fries, which were cooked perfectly. The staff is patient and understanding if you're new and friendly enough to suggest some of the locals' favorites. They have some amazing specials. I loved that the staff was open to customization and embraced my creativity nature. Despite me currently visiting from Las Vegas, NV, I was blown away by the burrito I customized. Granted, it isn't my own creation, although a recreation of an already well-known burrito with accommodation due to my lactose intolerance. It still impressed me for a California style burrito to taste so flavorful without any cheese or sour cream. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were beautifully made. “We have been coming to Davey's for years. It is a great local spot to go for a few drinks and have some bar food. It is a causal Irish pub. All the bartenders are friendly. Their food has gone downhill in my opinion, because their menu has changed. For example, they no longer have the godfather sandwich on the menu. Their chicken fingers have recently changed, and are not as good as they used to be. However, I love the honey mustard and horseradish dipping sauce they come with. They do have some of the best bloody marys in the area.“

We actually found it years ago on a search for "best pizza in Bergen County" during the pandemic and we have driven half an hour to dine there weekly nearly every week since. “I recently attended a Glen Rock Chamber meeting at Sweetberry Bowls. I loved the atmosphere right away. Before the meeting began I ordered a smoothy, the Strawnana - a mixture of strawberry, banana and coconut milk. It was delicious! If any of us waiting staff forget to put an order in, he will make it within a few minutes at the highest of quality because he is just that good.This review referred to him as the “take-out chef” and said he was not a real sushi man. When the customer had asked me who makes the sushi, I had said this gentleman makes the sushi rolls and these gentleman (the Japanese sushi men during this night) made the sushi pieces. It was obvious with this customer’s tone that she was not interested in our sushi chef who made the sushi rolls this particular evening.In addition, when we continued to ask this customer if everything was okay or if she needed anything, it was very clear she did not want us to really talk to her. Our sushi chefs are attentive and kind to our sushi bar customers and all customers in general. We try to have conversation because as many of our reviews say, we try to keep this place a family friend, kind environment.I could see the sadness from my friend when he noticed the dissatisfaction of his sushi rolls that he made. I also noticed how upset he got when he understood that this woman was not going to give him a chance to prove himself. Her disgust for his sushi happened before he even had a chance to prove himself.I understand that sometimes customers just want to be left alone and enjoy their meals in a nice, peaceful manner, but after reading her review, I was truly disgusted to see my friend being treated as if he did not have the skill or the experience to serve customers sushi.I get that people have bad nights, and maybe this was one of them.
