“During our short stay in the area, we chose to dine here as it was one of the few restaurants open on a Monday. We had an excellent meal, with starter and main course which were delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and very caring towards my elderly mother. Thank you in particular to Adam for his help with organising the taxi for us .”

“We've been to Flavia's several times and have always enjoyed our experience. The service is fast and attentive and has it has a super cute modern Italian interior. We always try something new each time we go and haven't been disappointed yet. This time, we had the carbonara spaghetti and pesto fettuccine and it was perfectly al dente and delicious! I can't wait to come back to try the amaretto cheesecake!”

The owner, Tom, gave me perfect recommendations for how much to order for the number of guests and made ordering, paying + pickup beyond easy (including some extras like rolls, sauces and pickled onions). The food was the talk of the party!! People couldn't stop going back for more and asking where it came from. Will definitely be back again and again!”

While I can’t speak to the other cuisines I have learned over time that her heart is in every dish. The doro wot is top! (Well it all is). The AP location is lovely. My boyfriend and I we the only ones there for a 7pm seating (Tuesday after Thanksgiving) so we got a complete one-on-one meal with chef Carmen and head chef Sean. It was so interesting learning about where each fish came from, each piece's preparation, and so much more! I'm glad I got such an intimate experience the first time, and look forward to going again with a group to get the full omakase, dinner-party-esque kind of atmosphere. “Delicious! I had the Steamed Dumplings and the Egg roll with a small rice. (yes they are all apps) The dumpling ga are sweet and salty and the sauce really adds to the flavor. The egg roll was a standard egg roll that most Chinese places have. Finally the rice was a good consistency and was sticky and was great with the dumplings. All in all 10-10.”

“Such a wonderful place. We happened upon this cozy shop on a day trip to Asbury, and returned with a bag of their wonderful coffee, which is roasted on premises!! Beautiful shop with local art for sale, but the best part is the great coffee and the owner who is so sweet and personable. We will definitely be back, if it was closer I'd be a regular.”

“One of the better Sausage egg and cheese on a roll around. I always add a PB&J bar along with my dark roast. Staff is friendly as well as the people who visit. Nice to shop local and family run. I only wish they had more seating as it can get busy and I come from out of town so I’m not a take away customer. I can see take away is their bread and butter. Good stop to buy beans for home.”

“We traveled 2 1/2 hours for a beach day and ended it with a Playa Bowl in Asbury which is a summer tradition. But we almost missed out! Location was closed by 6:00 pm on 9/21/24! We were in disbelief! We got there at 6:10pm. We begged and pleaded and “Jimmy” made it happen!!! World class service with a smile!!! What an amazing person you are “Jimmy”! Thanks for ending our summer with such class!!!!! There should be more people like you in this world!!! Safe Travels!!!!”

We ordered two iced cappuccinos, we were looking for less milk than a latte. One had soy, one had oat. The drinks were honestly not drinkable. They only tasted like milk and there was oddly some broken foam on the iced drinks. Usually when we order a short latte or iced capp size it’s about 6-8 oz of milk and you can taste the espresso. We love espresso and have it out frequently as well as at home and we love to try local spots. We ended up throwing both drinks out and are frustrated it was $14. Please know the barista was very friendly and professional, even during the little rush right before closing time.”

“I just had the best Cheeseburger that ever had at the Bond Street Bar and Grill that is tucked away and almost hidden on 208 Bond Street in Asbury Park, NJ. The It is a small bar and grill with a dark almost mystical ambiance on a small one-way street. “I went to the Robinson Ale House on June 29, 2024. Service was excellent. The waitress was wonderful. My husband and I had lunch. I had a T-bone steak special , he had meatloaf. They were excellent. We had key lime pie for dessert. Really good too. We were seated outside on the side because we needed shade. Planning another trip in August. I can’t wait to try the Drunken Clams this time if it’s still on their menu. I hope I get the same waitress. If they still have the T-bone on their daily special I recommend you get that. I had mine medium rare. Quite pricey but well worth it. The rest of the menu is moderately priced. Good generous sized portions. Definitely recommend. 5 stars”

I just got married on Saturday with a headcount of 58 people and I was absolutely blown away with how much "bang for your buck" you get at this venue with an absolutely breath-taking view of the ocean. In addition to all this, the food was insane and our guests were absolutely raving about how good it was. Liz Gloss and her team do an amazing job making you feel special, taken care of, and truly waited on my husband and I hand and foot. The entire staff that day was incredible and it really added to it being so special.”

I appreciated some of the diverse offerings, including the sushi menu. I opted for the Traditional Smash Burger which was delicious with the special sauce. I plan to visit again in the future.”

“Outstanding Cuban food found in this little hidden gem in Asbury Park, NJ. Cuban sandwiches, rice and beans, lechón, empanadas, fresh juices and smoothies… everything is fresh, authentic, and served with a smile, the staff is so sweet. Portions can be huge and considering that, prices are cheap. The place is not too big and there is limited seating, but most customers seem to take their food to go. It is *immaculate* and has a pleasant, inviting vibe. I can’t wait to go back!”
