“Came here for lunch on a Saturday around 2pm and was a little busy but several seats open. Staff is super friendly and the interior is clean. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive at the table.Ordered the beef taco and shrimp tacos. Loved the flavor combination and the beef and shrimp were fresh. The beef and shrimp were a bit too sweet in my opinion but that's if I'm nit picking.I will say for the price per taco, there could be a bit more shrimp and beef. Comparable Mexican tacos come cheaper and with more protein filling. I think to be more competitive, they could do better in that aspect.I also ordered the hotteok with vanilla ice cream and it's phenomenal. Easily one of the best desserts I've had. Absolutely love the texture and flavor combination. The ice cream they use is also amazing. Will absolutely order this every time I come back.“
“I'm having a lot of Chinese spots around this town, I decided to try something new from my usual and order from China Lucky. First impression on the first delivery? Amazing! The first order was: General Tso's Chicken w/ White Rice - very good chicken, moist and amazing flavor. Bean Curd Combo - my girl loves this dish. She's from Indonesia and is picky about her tofu. She loves the flavoring of the sauce and the veggies how perfectly cut they are. Beef Lo Mein - very good noodles and great flavoring also. The beef was spot on Now this was only the first order, and this was now an obvious go to from now on in Asbury Park. The delivery is fast (through Grubhub) and they never get the order wrong. Generous packets of soy sauce, hot sauce, etc. they use quality containers (plastic) to keep the food fresh. If there is any Chinese spot in Asbury you should try and be a repeat customer, it's China Lucky!“

“Love this place. We got the veggie spring rolls, chicken hibachi meal, and combination chicken and steak hibachi. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked!Vegetarian options: There are options like miso soup, salads, vegetarian spring roll, vegetable sushi roll, and tofu options.“
“I’ve seen people in the reviews say this is expensive but that’s a little surprising to me, especially in an expensive area like this, I’ve found the prices to be exactly what you’d expect for a higher end lounge/restaurant with excellent food like this. Everything I’ve had from here in the dozen or so times I’ve had it has been excellent, although I do find the cooked food better than the sushi. The sushi is good but there are better places in the area that do sushi only better; however, for a place with a diverse Asian menu, which is usually the sign of bad food, they break the trend because everything I’ve had here is awesome, especially any rice or noodle based dishes.“

“Way more attention to detail than other similar restaurants. Everything was excellent with a super friendly staff. Sushi is very good with rolls where you can actually taste the ingredients. This is definitely the only place I’m going for sushi from now on. You must go here because the one in Brick is not the same owners. It’s only the same name.“
“The food was outstanding I did the lunch all you could eat sushi special and tried everyone of their specialty rolls the Wasabi sauce definitely made one of those roles fabulous let me say though the server Joy was outstanding kind knowledgeable my wife is gluten free and she looked up everything for her“

They had the usual hibachi fun shinanigans and the environment was great for little kids.I ordered the tuna hibachi and it was overcooked unfortunately. The chicken was cooked well and priced reasonably ($27).The sushi was good & apps too (tuna, fried squid).“

“Such a great Easter dinner with family at Arugula! There were 7 of us in our party. We had a reservation and were seated right away in the front table by the window which I loved. Our server, Gino, was wonderful from start to finish. He was on it all night! love that it is BYOB. He brought us over champagne glasses for our Prosecco right away and a cold glass for the beer. Also he brought over an ice bucket to chill our other bottle of wine. The food was delicious! NY strip was cooked perfectly. The pork with sweet potatoes in a buttercream sauce was award winning and I can see why! Chicken parm was on point! The salad we all received prior to our meals was different and so delicious. Not sure what the dressing was but I loved it. The little bites of pineapple in the salad made it even more delicious. We wanted a group picture after dinner outside and Gino was happy to take it. I loved this hidden gem and will be back for sure! I would probably change some things about the decor but overall great experience!!!!“
