Basic, standard fare Chinese food that they make fast, and they offer brown rice, which was a big selling point for me, a New Yorker who'd recently moved to the Shore. Friendly family operates and owns the business. I've watched their kids grow up over the years.If you're looking for higher-end Asia fusion with better ambiance, there are several of those restaurants in the area. “Overall Food was flavorful and exhibited complex profiles. The sampler platter however was a disappointment in that the beef ribs and beef satays were tough. Also, the platter came to table at room temperature not hot. Two main dishes (orange tangerine scallops and vegetable chow fun) were extremely good and made up for the disappointing sampler. Served steaming hot and cooked to perfection. Our waiter (Ragil) was fabulous. Also, one in our party had a number of food sensitivity issues and the chef was extremely accommodating. Noise level was off the charts so if you're looking for a place for quiet conversation, Beijing Bistro is not for you.“

“This is the best Chinese food around Asbury Park. I enjoyed the bourbon chicken, dumplings, fried scallops, general tsos and the house fried rice which were all phenomenal. The chicken wings are also great and you won't be able to find cheese steak eggs rolls anywhere else. It is very clean inside and the owners are very friendly.
