Looking for a place for a quick low key early dinner on Thanksgiving for two. Googled Brickwall and based on their website they are open. Great! Made a reservation on line for two at 1:45 through the link on their website, reservation accepted and confirmed via text. The text asks me to respond to confirm my reservation which I did. A follow up text states we're good to go. An hour or so later receive an email reminding me of my reservation and to please be on time and to call if running late. No problem. Show up at Brickwall a little before 1:45 with my dining companion and the place is closed. Not a soul in sight. We are furious. How the hell do you accept a reservation, send a confirmation text followed by an email reminder and be CLOSED?And yes, I did call and no one answered, so what was I supposed to do considering you confirmed my reservation multiple times. I did what most people would do and showed up. Really bad management. Really pathetic customer service. You don't deserve my business. Would it have been that difficult to indicate on your website that you were closed on Thanksgiving and/or leave a recording when a customer calls stating same? Are you really that clueless? Lucky for us Bar & Co was open 5 minutes away in Loch Arbor where we had a delicious meal in a much nicer atmosphere overlooking Deal Lake. Based on the incompetence and complete lack of consideration for their customers I experienced today its no wonder the Burlington location closed! Done with Brickwall and their affiliates (Porta, The Annex, etc).11/29/20 Response to Mgt:Thank you for the reply. Your offer is appreciated however I can not accept. My only goal was to make management aware that someone dropped the ball big time - that goal appears to have been accomplished. Your apology is accepted however as stated in my original review I will not be coming back. I wish you and your employees well.

I thoroughly enjoyed this place. I had some time to kill and decided to pop in for a quick lunch. The staff was very attentive and the pierogies were perfect for a fall afternoon bite.

The chicken in the chicken blt was rubbery and over cooked. The tuna chunks were very tasty but dry, use to be much better

Had a wonderful dinner here Sunday for my niece's birthday. Asbury Park has an array or outdoor eating - something for every taste. Being such a gorgeous day, a lot of people were out but everyone was respectful wearing masks walking within the closed off dining streets. We wanted seafood and checked out the menu. There was a nice variety of options and was able to get a table right away. Hostess was pleasant. she sat us at a lovely picnic table with a large umbrella. I love that the street seating is sectioned off so we were able to eat and not have people walking pass too close.. Our waitress was pleasant and very attentive without hovering. We had 2 orders of wings for apps - bbq and hot. My favorite was the bbq but were delicious! Nice size portions as well. For entrees, 2 ordered crab cakes; 1 lobster roll, and 1 watermelon salad with grilled chicken. The crab cakes were to die for! No filler; 2 large all lump crab meat balls lightly battered and fried to perfection. Everyone said they were some of the best crab cakes they had eaten. It came with 2 side choices. Both ordered Parmesan grits (oh my!) the other 2 sides were Mac &cheese which was really good and sweet potatoes fries. My son really enjoyed his lobster roll which came with fries and slaw. I had the watermelon salad which was arugula topped with huge squared chunks of the sweetest watermelon, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, red onions and a generous serving of grilled chicken strips. The sweet and salty combo was so delicious. It's a very refreshing summer salad. I can't wait to come back to try other items o ton the menu like the burgers and shrimp & grits.

Excellent food. If it wasn’t for their outdoor seating service I would have never found them. I love this place and their servers. Always a good time when I come here with friends.
