Wow, I’ve eaten a lot of seafood in my day, but this place definitely tops it for me! A completely fresh and scratch kitchen. The menu is extremely innovative and delicious!I thoroughly enjoyed the bao buns, and also the mussels they came in an amazing creamy sauce, with bread for dipping, absolute perfection!I love the Aji tuna sandwich, it came with waffle fries, my absolute favorite! The drinks are also amazing as well such as the boyfriend material, trust me just get it!

Best churros! Filled with a creme sauce and sauce to dip them in. They come out pipping hot. The food was OK. I got the chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries.

I miss the old Bonney Read but the Mainstay vibe hits the mark as an upscale bar..stopped in for drinks before dinner and our bartender Dev was friendly, professional and made the hour an enjoyable time..Can't wait to stop in for dinner in the spring...

They had bloody Mary’s, they were delicious Very spicy. My husband ordered the fish tacos, I ordered the lobster roll, and we shared chicken wings. Chicken wings were delicious , fish tacos were too spicy for my husband I had the Libster Roll was delicious with a brioche roll.

Ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken was undercooked. When the kitchen received the underdone chicken, instead of replacing the sandwich and apologizing, the offended chef-child literally came out to my table to tell me I was incorrect and all the ways I was incorrect. Sorry Gordon Ramsey but I’m not going to eat raw chicken and your little ego shouldn’t let me. The arrogance! Needless to say, we will not return.

We loved Bonney Read. Pretty much there when all day Sunday happy hour or Wednesday night happy hour. It was the best seafood place in town, hands down. With the Mainstay, I still enjoy the great service from the team, but the food makes me just miss Bonney Read that much more. Would love if there was some kind of raw bar brought back! I think the upgrades to the space are good and will definitely be great vibes especially in the summer, but menu needs to bring back more of the OG menu.

Place is designed by diversity hires. Seats above the bottom of tables, tables of different heights pushed together, sink in bathroom forces you to touch the back of it. A bunch of weird design flaws that add up.

This ain’t it. Went for some drinks before dinner. I got an “signature” old fashion wife got a rum in coke. Orange wedge instead of a peel, way to much ice no specialty ice like a big cube just regular ice maker ice and way to much of it. Bar stools were wobbly. We had one drink and left. Used to be regulars from the Bonney read but looks like they still have work to do. Bartender wasn’t the best either. Lost my card for acouple min and couldn’t find it. couple next to us also seem to not be having the greatest time with him either

This used to be Bonny Reed(sp?) and we enjoyed that seafood restaurant/bar. They switched to a small plate casual hangout. The bar is still very nice, as is the "dining" area. Really, cool looking space. The food is just, meh . Wings, calamari, etc. Simply bar food. What they did tasted good, but the space needs a more exciting menu.

Place seems to only cater to a certain demographic unless football Sunday me and wife sat at high top table tonight for two we sat for 10 mins no one came by another table next to us were then seated in the matter of 3 mind a waitress squeezed in between our table with er back to us and took their order and walked off we expressed our concern to the hostess she was unbothered and just said ohh sorry and continued to stare in the sky we walked out then came back in and ask for a manager he came over we explained what happened he said ok well if you want to stay she was going to come to you I will never patronize this business again very disgusted with service
