Contrary to other reviewers, we were mostly disappointed with this visit. (our first). Wednesday evening, around 7pm. No wait to get in. $12.50 per person off our comps. Includes all-you-can eat buffet, and OPEN BAR. (that makes it well worth the price if you are going to relax with a few drinks and socialize)The overall good - Its a BEAUTIFUL lounge! expansive, well appointed, relaxing.The food - mediocre at best. Featured Prime Rib was tasty, but on the tough side. Sides were all good. We had grilled veggies, mashed potatoes, and peas with onions, which were all tasty.Batter fried cod... inedible. Tough, dry, tasteless. Tandoori Chicken, okay, but not great. Pizza... not worth wasting calories. Cold Shrimp - soggy. Grilled shrimp - an oily mess. Still in shells, so you have no choice but to peel them with your fingers.Desserts were nothing special. There was COLD bread pudding, that would have been so much better if it was warm, with a sauce.We didn't try the roast turkey, salad, or soups, which all looked good.Bottom line... if you are looking for a few drinks, with a side of food, this is great. If you are looking for a great food experience, with a drink, you won't find it here. Take a small sample of items appeal to you, ID what you like and go back for more.

In a world where lounges are slowly disappearing- Borgata is doing it right!! The Amphora Lounge is for Gold members and up. It's a wonderful escape to eat amazing, top-tier food, have great service, great drinks, and great atmosphere. Every time we come, staff is so amazing. The food is great! The bartenders in the bar area are fun and friendly. I hope Borgata doesn't follow the footsteps on Caesar's and keeps this treasure.

Great little buffet in the basement. Less chaotic than the big buffet and conveniently open on days the regular buffet was closed. It does have less variety but it had everything I wanted including prime rib. No gelato like you have in the main buffet. No dessert options that I saw for GF diners which was disappointing but not a deal breaker. I found the service to be a little less attentive than I would have preferred. Refills were lacking at times. But overall it's a great option.

We stopped in for a drink and found the vibe to be very upbeat. The bartender was very cordial. Good place to stop in and relax and take a break from the casino floor.The food looked appetizing.

The Amphora Lounge is a gem! The buffet is limited but what they have is very good. The cold shrimp are good size and fresh. The cheese broccoli is awesome, If that were all they served I would not be disappointed. Salad, Soup, Carving station, deserts. If you are inclined to have ice cream, ask the servers, they will bring you single server Haagen Daz ice cream. Staff is great, attentive and quick.

Always a pleasure to dine at Amphora! They offer a wide selection of entrees, desserts & never ending cocktails. What makes it special is the staff. The servers, bartenders and hosts guarantee a perfect experience. Just wish it was larger so less wait to enter, and an additional guest on special occasions.

Yassssss!!! If I could give this place a 10/10 I would. I really enjoyed this lounge. The fact that you could only indulge if you are a gold or platinum member was questionable, but I still enjoyed. Upon arrival we were greeted at the greeter's station which is upstairs from the restaurant. We went down the escalator and was seated. It's an all you can eat spot. They had some good food. Plenty of shrimp and carved meats. Their Mac and cheese was tasty as well. All you can drink (that includes alcohol). Our server was amazing. He tended to our every need. Came by plenty of times to ask if we needed anything. That was appreciated. I definitely look forward to going back to Amphora Lounge.
