Who would of thought, yes it is true, we got married at Bourre! The menu was amazing, and the staff is exceptional. Charlie the owner was the nicest, flexible, professional and accommodating. He truly made this a simple planning process. The managers Kip, laura and Steve, not only did a flawless job accommodating 150 people, they did it with a amazing amount of care and passion. If your looking for a large, exciting, fresh and fun venue in Atlantic City, this is place. Please reach out to them you will not be disappointed, support our local small businesses.

A wonderful dining experience. My husband had BBQ ribs that fell off the bone. So tender and the sauce was excellent. Sides of greens, Mac & cheese were very good. I had the fried green tomatoes with a huge Cajun Caesar salad with blackened chicken. Everything was tasty. The music playing along with the outside seating made for a lovely time. Our server was amazing too!! We can't wait to return with our friends to eat again.

We love Cajun food and BBQ so we stopped in. Pretty casual dining inside or outside, so we decided to sit at the bar. We started with their cornbread and wouldn’t recommend it. It was more of a corn cake as the texture was all wrong for cornbread with very little corn taste. We had their ribs with sides of Mac and cheese, Cole slaw and collard greens. The ribs were great and I ordered them dry with sauce on the side. They came out with the sauce all over the ribs which was super messy to eat. The Mac and cheese and collards were delicious but the Cole slaw was not. Take note- it is a vinegar based cole slaw so if you prefer a mayo based don’t get it. They should note that on the menu or mention it when you order. Overall a good dinner and we will definitely return but learn from our mistakes.

Very good BBQ. Very reasonable prices. Disappointed that alligator is only served as sausage. Po'boys taken off menu. Inside and outside seating. Picnic table style outside. The meat is smoked outside and smells so wonderful as you walk near. There are 2 huge bars. A stage is inside for entertainment. It doesn't offer many Cajun dishes but is excellent for BBQLarge portions. Very nice waitress.Definitely worth a visit.

Awesome place to eat! The manager , Laura visited our table and checked on us to make sure our visit was great. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. This is by far the best place that my family and I ate at while on vacation here in Atlantic City. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

What a great find. Our Family is staying right next door at "Atlantic Palace Suites" and just a quick walk to some good Louisiana eats !! Lots of alligator dishes but we chose some others. Two of us got smoked 1/2 rack of "fall of the bone" ribs with a side of fries rice and beans and a few great buffalo flavor wings !! Another got the swamp pasta with shrimp and my wife got a smoked chicken sandwich. Kids got mac and cheese and we had a wonderful meal !! After a little one bumped her head our Server Courtney took control and was so nice to bring an ice pack from one of two bars !! Once settled back down we were able to have an incredible meal and memory !! There are two bars and one side includes a stage for live shows. There is an outside portion done like a picnic area. Also on site is an outside entertainment area for large live shows. I'm told that it isn't all music. There are "side show" type venues that come thru our server told us !! She says to check their website for shows and dates !! Again not enough can be said about the wonderful food !!!

AMAZING! Did I say amazing?! The swamp pasta and fried pickle chips are addicting. This is my second time here and the food tasted even better this time. The soothing atmosphere and friendly staff makes this place feel like home. This will be my spot every time I’m in AC. Shout out to our waitress Theresa and their new manager!** Gotta try and make it for the live music next**

I've been down to Atlantic City for work about every other week for the past few months and somehow missed Bourré until now. Just off the Boardwalk on New York Ave, Bourré is a great choice to beat the crowds and score some solid Cajun fare. I wandered over on a Monday evening and grabbed one of the many tables outdoors for a chicken + alligator sausage jambalaya and a pint of Abita Purple Haze. While service can be slow even on a quiet night, the food makes up for it: the jambalaya hit all the right notes, with the spice and bite of the alligator sausage a nice surprise.

I am not a reviewer by any means but after what my husband and I experienced last night I felt I had to write this. At first I was very thrilled with this restaurant . It has a great atmosphere...and our server Nick was absolutely fantastic. Always making sure we were, ok refilling our waters and checking in on us. We were there while a big event was going on, so we expected some delay in our food and drinks...but nothing like we experienced here. Our cocktails took about 45 minutes...and our food took nearly 1 and a half hours. Had it not been for the music and the wonderful treatment we received from our server we would have probably left. When we finally ate and were finished we decided we would stay for the music and drink at the bar...after some more waiting for drinks we observed some absolutely DISGUSTING behavior from who I can only assume was the owner of the establishment. Our server from before was walking through the room when the owner stormed up to him and screamed in his face...absolutely berated him in front of all the patrons in the restaurant. It was very loud, but it sounded like he asked him to not speak to him in that way, and he proceeded to scream that if he did not do what he told him to do he would "rip him out of his shirt and drag him to the office" I was mortified to see a manager treating his employees in such a terrible way. My husband happened to cross our servers path when he went to the restroom...he told him it all started because he took a 10 minute break when his last table left to make a phone call...and that he was told to not come back. The food service industry has taken such a nose dive and this is a perfect example of why...people who work in the food service industry are human beings! Not machines or animals...it's no wonder good employees end up quitting these jobs more and more. We will NEVER be going back to this place. Just another business with some really good potential being destroyed by awful management. Absolutely despicable behavior.

Restaurant was clean. Nice outside seating areas. The Cajun food was great and plentiful and moderately priced. Service was excellent. Definitely would go back.

Nice place, good food, draft beer selection lacks variety (what’s with all the hops??). But a Narragansett tall boy for 2 bucks is a rare site. Could use a little variety in the music department, it’s ok but lacks something that I cannot explain, seems like the same tune over and over.

Great spot for enjoying a drink with your pals. We tried some of the food (brisket, gator sausage, Mac n cheese) and it was amazing: we really loved the spiciness of it.Kudos to the staff: super amicable and always looking to help.
