Unfortunately this restaurant needs some major updates starting with the food. First of all the food was not seasoned and not hot. The calamari came out cooler than room temperature and when we ask them to warm it it’s obvious it was re dunked in the grease, flavorless and old. The shrimp scampi was flavorless. The sautéed spinach again no flavor at all, and my steak was ok because of the sauce but that little hash brown underneath it was hard as a brick and appeared to be burned. My glass was super dirty to the touch it just was not a good experience. The restaurant decor is a little dated. I would not return

The very best restaurant at Borgata. I was alone and ate at the bar. Mark, my bartender, was fantastic and the food was 5 stars. The meat ball starter to a perfectly cooked NY strip, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes. Best meal I have had in a longtime. Thanks.

We went there last night. We got 2 porterhouses for the table. They slice them before they bring them out to you. It was obvious that they removed the filet parts and replaced them with sirloin. We won't go there again. It's a shame, because prior to this, old homestead was my favorite steakhouse.
They over cooked my steak. After convincing me to get another which they said would be comped, they tried to charge me.

☆☆☆☆Omg! I'm a foody and appreciative of, good food, service and ambiance. Bing~bang, Old Homestead cover all three, lol. The Prime Rib was a little well done, but tasty. The broccoli rabbe was tough but garlicky flavorful. The spinach sautéed was quite delicious, and the warm walnut raisin complementary buns were nice. The star☆ of the experience was the strawberry shortcake ?. Pam, our server, was busy and attentive. Did an awesome job! Kudos thank you. I will recommend and will be back to check out more delicious cuisine on the menu. ? 2/26/2024

Great location and excellent service from our waiter. I have truly enjoyed the OHS over the years. Our last two visits have been just average as the food was bland and the steaks were not cooked as requested. The Caesar salad tasted like it was out of a bag with supermarket dressing. Seating is always cramped as they seem to try and add as many tables as possible. Will try the old Bobby Flay restaurant next time and avoid OHS for now....
