This place is one of the city's last iconic restaurants . Something from back in the past you can't buy now says which is gud food , gud customer service & atmosphere all in one place . A must if you like diner style food . Taste & quality & quantity . They don't skimp on portions . ???
The sausage gravy had wonderful flavor. The coffee was delightfully strong but not too strong. THE FRUIT SALAD WAS REAL FRUIT SALAD!(Even in the middle of winter!) And everything in it was beautifully ripe. I've never been to reasonably priced diner that didn't just dump a can of fruit cocktail in a dish. That alone would have given it 4 stars.Bacon was crispy but not burnt.Staff was friendly but not hover-y.Everything I saw come out of the kitchen was amazing.
