“Finally had the opportunity to have dinner at this historic and legendary seafood restaurant and it did not disappoint. Having been to many seafood houses along the east coast, I am giving this one my highest rating. Sorry that it took me so long to get here, but since now I am living closer, I will be back as often as as I can. We had a 4:15 reservation and the first thing I noticed was the long line outside the door, I soon found out that these were people who were waiting to get the first seats at the bar for the fantastic Happy Hour, a great idea where their array of superior oysters can be found for less than half the price. We sat done for dinner and were immediately treated to superior, friendly and efficient service. We started with a dozen oysters going with the recommended Blue Points and Delaware’s, these were some of the best I have ever had, fresh, ice cold, juicy ,briny and incredibly flavorful. We went on to try the Manhattan Clam Chowder, served with fresh whole clams and a light tasty broth, a departure from standard and quite appealing. I had a blackened red fish in a Cajun stew with andouille, shrimps and okra, this was a spectacular dish made with some of the freshest and tastiest red fish that I have ever come across, hat’s off to the chef on this one!! We capped off this wonderful meal with their unbeatable bananas, caramel and creme pie. Bravo, bravo, bravo….”

“Go for the history and the steaks. Lobster thermidor is unique but not necessarily anyone's favorite. Great wait staff. If you have a problem with stairs make sure you say something when you make a reservation.”

“Came here this weekend. I think this really should be a 3.5, but I'm rounding up.Chef Vola's suffers from one thing: being way over hyped. We went with friends so I didn't deal with the reservation part: I can't speak to that. But it's hard to get in to which feeds into the hype of best Italian in AC. I don't agree.Atmosphere is dark and moody in a good way. Except the bathroom, which is legitimately in their kitchen. That was incredibly off-putting.My biggest issue here is the food and the price. I got Milanese, arguably one of the cheapest entrees on the menu. It was humongous, true, for nearly 35 dollars but nothing I'd rave about after leaving. I didn't eat almost half of it and wasn't mad about it. A side of broccoli rabe, while delicious, was $14. My husband got a good, but again not marvelous, crab cake and shrimp for almost $60. Everything is ala carte and the plates of pasta who came with our friends meals looked messy. Everything looked over sauced.Overall, our large table came out to nearly $1,000, which doesn't include alcohol (it's byo): that cost I think you NEED to be a meal I'd rave about again and again: and honestly I just won't.”

“Food was good, But… the Service?. First time visit, staff were great, very friendly! We sat at the bar for brunch, unfortunately, we came in hungry & we had a wait. Spent over two hours, luckily they offer a bottomless Mimosa option, that helps curb your hunger for sure. Definitely a good place to visit. Just be prepared to be there for a while!”

“If I could I would rate the service 10/5. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or special evening event. Complimentary bruschetta, zucchini chips, and Parmesan were given that paired lovely with my wine. With all that said, the food was a 4/5. It was still delicious but I have had better Italian cuisine in other establishments. I would highly recommend the mushroom ravioli that was recommended by our waiter.”

“Had the Cape May Always Ready on draft. They serve it in a frosted glass, my god that was good. To eat I had the gochujang chicken sandwich, which was great. The fries are the best fries I’ve ever had. The bar tenders are very friendly as well.”

“Tried this restaurant on a busy weekend in AC. The restaurant is really small but the food is definitely worth it! I had the crab, spinach, cheddar cheese omelette and banana walnut pancakes. I highly recommend.”

“The first impression of our experience was the atmosphere, absolutely BEAUTIFUL! You walk downstairs to a gorgeous dining room that is spotlessly clean. Our server, Gary, was amazing! He offered us specific food and beverages and was so friendly and made a huge impact on our experience. The only thing I have to say… is that they changed their banana egg roll dessert and they should switch it back :/ but overall amazing experience!”

“We took my daughter for her 21st birthday because we are such Hells kitchen fans. It was like walking into the TV show and the open kitchen concept was wonderful. They even had the red team side and the blue team side of the kitchen. Chia was our server and she was awesome ,very knowledgeable,very helpful, very friendly and very efficient. The food, although I felt was pretty pricey, was excellent. You're actually paying for the experience. The cocktails were also very nice. I had the dinner with the wine pairings which was perfect. They brought my daughter her sticky toffee pudding with a candle in it and sang happy birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better night. ”

“My wife and I have designated this restaurant as the ONE RESTAURANT we will eat at every time we come to AC. The food is PERFECT, service is A+ and the atmosphere makes you forget you're in or near the casino. Just the ambiance of Ossu. A MUST when visiting. If there was a higher rating than A+ I'd give it. “Excellent food and service. So many great appetizers, I almost just made a meal out of those! We had the crab dip and the roasted brussel sprouts. Two of us had steak and I had the salmon. I'm a picky eater, and the chef and server helped me by separating my dish (unfortunately my food issues mirror that of a toddler). Jamie was an amazing server and made our experience so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!”

“The place is beautiful and uniquely decorated. While seated in a beautiful setting, we all found it very uncomfortable as the seats were very hard & low and the table was high. Bench seating on one side and chairs on the other. We had the unfortunate spot of the bench. And there was an awful stench in our area which wasn't from the wonderful aromas of the kitchen. Now the best part of the evening.... The food was absolutely hands down... delicious! Salmon was perfectly prepared and presented exquisitely well! One of the best tastiest experiences by far! Raves on the lamb chops as it was seasoned so well. We had many apps and all were tasty! Loved the serving & drink ware, all were unique.The prices are high but we would definitely return. “After a disappointing experience with our hotel, our expectations for this weekend trip to Atlantic City was low. AC is going down hill.Then we went searching for food and found this little spot. At first, we kept our hopes low. However, the staff was really friendly. We ordered some tacos and chimichangas. OMG the food was amazing. All of a sudden our trip to AC is looking up. It was really what we needed and a big win despite the wrong foot the trip got started on.I really want to go back there again before leaving AC.”

“Loved everything about it. Kenny is the one who got us in. He was very helpful. Although the name is unknown, that does not mean anything. The food was great. The red sauce was fantastic. The meatballs were great. They have an extensive wine list. The ambiance is great, good jazzy music like Sinatra, old black and white mafia movies on TVs on the wall and dimly lit, nice and relaxing. “It was recently renovated so everything inside is clean and fairly new. The service is fantastic, even though a few guys have a bit of Jersey attitude, and while they occasionally sound snarky they are always on point. You never wait for a thing. The food, well it's not Bobby Flay, but it's consistently great for the price. We nearly always get the filet. We picked broccoli this time to go with and didn't get mashed potatoes since the steak comes on a huge hash brown soaked in all the steak goodness and sauce, and found it (the broccoli) a bit below par comparatively. {Broccoli Rant} (It's just "sautéed" broccoli, so if the broccoli isn't great you can't do much with it. I would have at least trimmed off the brownish stalk ends,) and when I asked for butter on it when I ordered, I got the "it's on the table" aforementioned attitude, even though he went ahead and asked the chef to put it on there anyway. You had to cut it with the steak knife and had no seasoning on it at all. It came plain or garlic/oil and that often means olive which the hubby doesn't tolerate well in large amounts.... Anyway at $16 I was disappointed since I love broccoli. {/end broccoli rant} Everything else was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly, the bread they serve is phenomenal, and I always get the crème brûlée, which is pretty great here.”

“I came here for a quick bite with a friend. They have a daily happy hour which is great for raw bar, few appetizers, and drinks between 4-6pm. Clams are $1, oysters $1.5, sliders $8, calamari $9, and coconut shrimp $10. The clams, oysters and shrimp were on point and very fresh. The sliders and calamari were sorta 'meh'. Sauce and flavor were good, but the looked like they were sitting room temperature under a heat lamp. Service is decent and friendly.”

“What a fabulous dinner. Thank you Michelle for taking care of us. Some of our delicious plates included the Pasta Fagioli Soup, the Melanzane Zucchini appetizer and the Rigatoni with braciole, sausage and the most delicious meatball you have ever eaten. Our only regret...no room for dessert. Next time, we'll order that first.”

“Being a fan of Pizza I wanted to taste some East Coast Pizza, or “pies” as we were corrected at pick up. The 5 “pies” were good, the flimsy boxes were a challenge to keep everything from getting smashed together .Various toppings on each, sauce was tasty and the crust had a good chew with thin slices. Having not priced out other regional Pizza I don’t know if $19-25 per pie is a fair price for medium pizzas.Having tried pizza from all types of different cities, I’d say it was okay for handmade but smaller than I thought and definitely overpriced. Thanks, it’s a one and done experience for me.”

“Cheesesteak place and Chinese food place are both great options. Cheesesteak place is open late but the Chinese food place does not have bad hours. Both the chicken teriyaki and general tso's chicken at the Chinese place are good and I usually order a regular cheesesteak. The food is far cheaper than anything else you can find in the hotel so its a good move and filling.”

“The bagels are too hard. I would not recommend it unless you like a hard bagel and go for it. Coffee was good. The hot chocolate is too thick. It was like drinking my overall. We like this Dunkin' Donuts in the resort ”

“Open 24/7. It was past 8pm and we were able to get a snack. A variety of sandwiches at 15$. They are average but quite large. Very large pastries. Very close to Laguna tower where we are staying. Very convenient to get a snack for the room but they have a few tables too. The ice cream looked really good. The people seem nice.”

“We visited after leaving Showboat arcade. Kids wanted some pizza. We found it literally juat by dribing down the street. Although we came for pizza and stayed for the cheesesteak! That was an unexpected treat. It's definitely good for late night eats. It tiny. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit AC again.”

“I visited Brittany's while in AC for a concert with my Dad, finding it in searching online for good breakfast places. Very happy we ended up eating here. I had a breakfast sandwich with pork roll and potatoes on the side, which was very good, and my dad enjoyed his Belgian waffle. Would definitely return to Brittany's if ever back in AC.”

“This was a great local spot in Atlantic City. Great diner food affords pricing and a lovely server. Everything was good. Very homey feel when eating the food. Makes you feel good. We had the two eggs over medium with bacon and grits plus pancakes eggs with cheese beef sausage and turkey bacon. Everything tasted great. Better than other diners I’ve had. “We stopped in on a Sunday mid-February after visiting the Absecon lighthouse and had an enjoyable time. The concept here is very cool. I can’t believe I didn’t get any pics of the beer but they were good. We had small pours of mostly saisions - a couple I preferred more than the others. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was easy going. No food - not sure if they allow you to bring any in or not. Parking was easy.”

“I'm afraid to leave a review because this spot already is so acclaimed. I've been trying to get a reservation for some time and was finally able to get one so here we were. This restaurant is always listed as the best in AC and a top restaurant in the state. I usually worry that places don't live up to the hype. We hear they truly delivered and everything was better than my expectations. If you eat hear you have to do the tableside experience other wise why are you here??? Every dish was fantastic. The tableside mozzarella was a table favorite The Caesars salad was tableside and great. My personal favorite was the Cavatelli. I can't stop raving about it. Was truly the best I have ever had and this is a must get in my book of you go here. The chicken parm was great and so was the halibut We will return I know this review will add to making it more difficult to get in here but it's well deserved Truly one of my favorite places to eat now”

“my partner and I visited last week, in the hopes of having a nice last minute dinner while we were in town. we wanted something special but local, and this was the perfect choice!right off the bat I was optimistic about having a good meal, as the service was very personable, and the decor/music was just right. that was definitely a relief since it seemed like a slow night and that can sometimes be awkward.our orders were spectacular! we enjoyed literally every crumb off the dish. the artichoke was as good as mentioned in other reviews, despite that not always being a favorite of mine. I loved the crab balls too which were such a beautiful balance of rich and savory but not too heavy. and of course, the milanese I got as a main was magnificent - cutlet perfectly prepared, and the flavors all so bright and delicious. and a nice change from the red sauce I usually order at italian joints.all in all, I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place, and I hope to get the chance to revisit soon!”

“AC Sandwich is specialize in sandwiches but I don't recommend opting for the strong aroma of the soy sauce on the sandwich. The service is professional and quick. The ambiance is quiet and price was reasonable. They offer special drinks, and note that prices have a significant increase in the past two years according to the updated menu photos. Overall, I would consider returning in the future.”

“Customer service food is popping hot lot of transy people coming in trying to use the bathroom. But you're paying guest you have to pay the price because they were able to use the restroom with their needles gloves and clogging up the toilet so you can't even use it. They even have a special restroom just for the employees that you can't use because they know that the other people that are out from the outside destroys it as far as anything else they need to have more control over it I'm sure it cost them a lot of money to fix it each and every time I do visit this place three times a week and every time I walk or see something going on there's always an out of order sign or it's smell.This is a food establishment you don't want to smell that when you're ordering Popeye's Fried Chicken don't you think it would Clash”

“McDonald's is McDonald's here be prepared the prices a bit steeper if you pay attention you'll notice probably even in your home town where the burger patties have been switched for smaller ones but the prices have stayed the same or increased example " the pattie that was once used for the big and tasty was used for the third pounder meals and charged more money , cheese burger patties was used couple times for quarter pounder which is charged higher , and who still buys big Mac's with those white castle tiny burgers used for that with all that bread a goop they put on it. Some of the cashier's have attitude problems so be prepared for that as well the inside was nice before remodeling and not allowing people to sit in there for like three years make that make sense but it was pandemic time but like a year afterwards yeah ok. Drive thru always works but check your order for you leave both drive thru or inside make sure you have your napkins, sauces, straws, your order because they will and have messed up orders but that's all McDonald's in most states it's ridiculous. All in all it's fast food place so that should be your mind set something might not be right with your order and prices high here for every fast food place here. Lots of price gouging goes on here”

“My boyfriend and I went to The Palm restaurant to celebrate my birthday month. The hostess at the front desk was very sweet. Christopher, our waiter ,was fantastic. He was chill , polite ,and professional . The food was outstanding ! We order 4 pound lobster , green beans , and jumbo shrimp. For the price and large portion blew me away. The dessert was delicious ( we order chocolate cake and tiramisu cake ) . My boyfriend and I are still thinking about that cake. 5 out 5 stars. We're definitely coming back for date nights .”

Both delicious in their own right.Mac-n-Cheese: rich, creamy, delicious, right amount of baked crust on the top, large portion.Maine lobster tail: served hot and had a lot of flavor.Bone in ribeye: cooked to a perfect medium rare, charred, served with a side of Bearnaise and their house made steak sauce. I'm not a fan of steak sauce and loved this sauce.Crem brulee: perfect in every way.Banana cheesecake: so good that my husband actually ate most of it and he never eats cheesecake.Service: servers know how to read the room and weren't over bearing. Waters always topped off and plates cleared timely.Atmosphere: dark not not too dark, felt private even though the next table is two feet away, music was the right level. Our reservation was 6pm and the restaurant didn't start getting busy until we were leaving around 7:30.Overall, a relaxed and fun dinner. A great way to end a fantastic day.”

“We both had the breakfast burrito and coffee. Food was flavorful, hot, fresh, and clearly prepared with love. If you are vegan this is a must go to if you are visiting AC. Located in the middle of the main shopping area so super convenient location. They have signs saying they are not fast food so be aware that you gotta wait a little while but the wait was not terrible, definitely worth it to have great food, especially worth it for 100% vegan food for the animals! So just go, chill, and enjoy!”

“Place is 11/10. Food is always ready under 10 minutes if it’s ballpark 5 items. Who I assume to be the owners are there every time I’ve been there and are the nicest people. Food is amazing, big orders, and the price is debatably even better, personal favorite is the Sesame chicken. Had about 10 different things there and found myself liking things I don’t like at other places since it’s so good. If your hesitant because the outside view or surrounding area quit it and call in some takeout it’s so worth it and I promise you won’t regret it. Support hard working amazing people!!! “On vacation in Atlantic City, looking for a place to make the breaking of my sugar fast worthwhile, and an ice cream sundae sounded like the right thing. Found the Island Creamery on Yelp and gave it a try. The couple behind the counter could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. The sundae was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it without a single thought of guilt. There is a great variety of frozen treats and the prices are good. I'll be back.”

“I'm beyond impressed with this incredible hotel. From start to finish, top to bottom, this resort is sublime. The service from the moment we pulled up to the valet was superb. We highly recommend valet which was only $40 for the whole weekend. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday night in December. No line to check in. I had booked the super saver option- I booked early so I saved tons. I figured with such savings we'd be in a low floor, no view room. “For a hole in the wall place they have amazing food here. Big portions, smells awesome, and tastes great. No public bathroom from what we saw it was out of order. You have to pay to park if you park in front of the store, but parking is no much. Look at the menu before you go as the ordering counter is small and there are only 4-5 tables you can sit at inside to eat. I had the TLAYUDA there and eating half of it filled me, definitely can feed two people.Parking: Using the app you pay with your phone and log you info for parking.”

“So many visitors to Atlantic City come to this block to visit White House Subs and miss out on the actual best landmark on the block that is Formica Bros Bakery right across the street. The bakery that creates the bread which is the real star of those famous sandwiches. Everything i have ever gotten from this tiny cafe and bakery is outstanding including the bread, pastries and baked goods and chocolate covered delights as well as their cannolis and tomato pie slices. The tomato pie actually deserves its own sentence to acknowledge how great it is; the bread and crust have a great crunch consistency and chew in all the right places and the sauce is exceptionally well balanced no too sweet and not too tart. just right and rivals any u will find in Philly or South Jersey. I also enjoy and the different sweet bread breakfast loaves and muffins. They also have several cakes that i have never tried but based on all my other experiences would no think twice about getting if need for a special occasion. Lastly I must say they make some of the best non chain store coffees, espressos and lattes i have ever had anywhere in the country and are a must pickup whenever i am driving by and need a quick pick me up for the ride home to PA. The staff is extra friendly and quick to help u pick the best item for your needs. And for such a small store it is incredibly comfortable, clean and well laid out to fit a whole lot of food and a few tables looking out onto Arctic Ave. Love these old authentic independent stores and will always be a visitor as long as we both are around.”

The restroom was cleaned and nicely decorated.Parking: We think there is a free parking lot right next to the restaurant after we came out and saw people picking up their car there. “Being a fan of Pizza I wanted to taste some East Coast Pizza, or “pies” as we were corrected at pick up. The 5 “pies” were good, the flimsy boxes were a challenge to keep everything from getting smashed together .Various toppings on each, sauce was tasty and the crust had a good chew with thin slices. Having not priced out other regional Pizza I don’t know if $19-25 per pie is a fair price for medium pizzas.Having tried pizza from all types of different cities, I’d say it was okay for handmade but smaller than I thought and definitely overpriced. Thanks, it’s a one and done experience for me.”

“my partner and I visited last week, in the hopes of having a nice last minute dinner while we were in town. we wanted something special but local, and this was the perfect choice!right off the bat I was optimistic about having a good meal, as the service was very personable, and the decor/music was just right. that was definitely a relief since it seemed like a slow night and that can sometimes be awkward.our orders were spectacular! we enjoyed literally every crumb off the dish. the artichoke was as good as mentioned in other reviews, despite that not always being a favorite of mine. I loved the crab balls too which were such a beautiful balance of rich and savory but not too heavy. and of course, the milanese I got as a main was magnificent - cutlet perfectly prepared, and the flavors all so bright and delicious. and a nice change from the red sauce I usually order at italian joints.all in all, I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place, and I hope to get the chance to revisit soon!”

Bench seating on one side and chairs on the other. We had the unfortunate spot of the bench. And there was an awful stench in our area which wasn't from the wonderful aromas of the kitchen. Now the best part of the evening.... The food was absolutely hands down... delicious! Salmon was perfectly prepared and presented exquisitely well! One of the best tastiest experiences by far! Raves on the lamb chops as it was seasoned so well. We had many apps and all were tasty! Loved the serving & drink ware, all were unique.The prices are high but we would definitely return. The restaurant itself feels luxurious. We ordered the duck poutine as an appetizer. First time having duck, and it was really flavorful. I ordered the beef wellington, which was out of this world. My partner ordered the braised short ribs. Creme Brulee for dessert. I can't wait to be back and to try the other locations.”

They have a little boost to sit in which is great and romantic. We went for our anniversary. We had the fish and chips and the salmon with the Irish potato and the lobster bisque which was fabulous. I think it's probably the best I've ever had in years many years. Wonderful food! Our waiter was very polite and wonderful. So the rating I gave was not that the waiter wasn't great but it was the timing I was still eating. Not even halfway through getting my soup when my meal arrived, which the soup was so good I had to finish but by the time I finished the cup My food was not as hot. And usually in a fine restaurant such as this. Their timing is usually impeccable. This was a faux pas that was not good. Hopefully they will work on that.”

“We really enjoyed Wild Honey! This was our 2nd time there and this time we brought the kids (25, 24 & 18). They love the mustard BBQ sauce so much we bought two jars to take home. We shared a sampler platter and tot nachos which were both excellent-a ton of food and we brought some of that home. We shared a pitcher of drinks and there were plenty to go around. All 5 meals were prepared correctly and delicious. We got a cinnamon bun to take home. We'll definitely be back!”
