Disappointing. I live in Bergen County NJ where there are many high quality sushi restaurants, so I am accustomed to high quality raw fish. Both the raw tuna and the raw salmon diced into my poke bowl were subpar. I know there are rules requiring raw fish to be handled a certain way by restaurants. I read they are required to freeze the fish. However, where I live, the fish never tastes defrosted. This fish did. Also, both the salmon and tuna seemed to me like a lower grade than I'm used to. There were so many stringy, unchewable pieces of raw fish that I ended up tossing out much of it. The toppings were also subpar. I am accustomed to a poke store that uses higher quality fruits and vegetables and dices every vegetable and fruit after the customer orders the poke bowl. This store is not buying the highest quality produce, and the toppings tasted like they had been pre-diced hours earlier. I am a HUGE poke fan and had anticipated returning to Poke Ai many times during my vacation. Until I ate that first poke bowl.

Amazing. So good. So fresh and delicious. Definitely could use a few more employees but it's also COVID when I'm writing this so I'm not holding that against them. They took their time making it and it was absolutely delightful. They also have Bubble Tea without the bubbles (because I'm clearly a child). Please go to this place I'm telling ya!

This was my first time visiting Poke Ai and the food was fresh and refreshing. The portion sizes were decent and all the ingredients seemed to be of high quality. We ordered poke bowls as well as a rainbow roll and each of these dishes were delicious. My fault with the restaurant has to be the customer service. The staff and Poke Ai were not friendly even in the slightest. They seemed more annoyed than anything that were coming in for a takeout order and the interactions felted dragged. I think that with the right customer service this place could definitely be taken to the next level. If you are planning on visiting while the Covid restrictions are in place note that you cannot actually enter the restaurant. They block the door and you mark off your order off the menu and they make it while you either wait outside or go in your car for 10-15 minutes and come back to grab it. I will be back for the food but not the overall experience.

The bowl I got was $15 and the portions were so small. I got about 4 small pieces of tuna in my brown and a 1/4 cup of rice.

Absolutely love this place!!!...the bowls are beautifully prepared with the freshest ingredients and the freshest fish!...service is great!...definitely the perfect spot for a summertime lunch. So happy a place like this opened up here on LBI!....can't get enough!

Great fresh food, definetly recommend. Would give 5 stars but the employees didn't know what was in the sauces and we had a family friend with us who can't eat dairy or eggs. With all the allergies out there, restaurants need to know what is in there food.

This place is amazing! Everything is fresh and tastes great. There are no other poke bowl places on the Island and this one gives you the option to build your own. 10/10 recommend

Weird name but the food is good. Chinese bowls based on white or brown rice or noodles. Each dish is individually prepared so getting your food is a bit slow. Suggest you try one of the "standard" bowls before trying to figure out the myriad of potential ingredients. The fish/sushi ingredients were fresh and tasty. Of course Jingles bait shop is next store so maybe they trade. (Kidding). Reasonable prices. Long shelf with stools to eat in or picnic tables outside. The staff is nice but barely speaks English.
