“I drive a lot for work and I’m constantly looking for nice wam plate of food! Usually I order to go! When I walked in the place is so cute that I thought it might be allowed to order and go! I was greeted nicely and they had no issues with my request! I paid around what I pay at other places for ox tails. I asked for it to be with Moro. My food came out with Moro on the side, beans, and white rice and the ox tails! But also, added plantain chips, and two cookies! I thought that was a great little gift! I’ll be back to dine here again”

We have ordered now for several years their platters on Christmas, Thanksgiving and Birthdays. “I had not heard of this bakery but a friend suggested meeting there a couple evenings ago. This was the Burke, VA location. The choice of pastries was pretty amazing, what we had was fresh and truly outstanding, service was efficient and friendly, and the place itself was very clean. Will be back!”

“Deli 21 is a great establishment. The owners are so kind and friendly, the food is delicious (especially their fries! some of the best fries I've had!). You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. My favorites are The Continental Sandwich, their egg salad on rye, and their chicken quesadilla. Very fairly priced and it's a great place to grab a bite to eat quickly especially if you work close by!”

“We mostly order from the catering package, no order is too small or too large, We were accomodated very well. My Favorites are the Kare-Kare, Turon, Fried Chicken, Lumpia, and the Sisig. For Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, Church Events, etc they will not disappoint.”

“I got my lunch today from La Placita. The food was super delicious.I had, white rice, beans, pork , and a little salad. The lunch also includes a little soup. They had beef or chicken.I picked chicken soup, perfect for this type of weather.
Another thing I like about La Placita, is their extensive bakery line.I had the corn bread, it's shape in the form of a big tart.Delicious. Their guava roll is extremely good also.
This place is always extremely clean.I Love to get my meals and bakery items from here .

“My husband and I ordered the small oxtail and curry goat, and also two beef patties. Both meals were good. The rice & cabbage were especially delicious. But OMG the beef patties were sooooo good! Better than the chain Jamaican restaurant. I’d come back just for that. Hot & flaky delicious. Very pleased.

Added on 9/6/25 - we went back & wanted to order however they ran out of food at the time we arrived at 7pm on the nose. They were very apologetic & suggested we call ahead next time which we will. They only had veggie patties left & lemme tell you, they’re forgiven! Best veggie patty I’ve ever had. The filling & the dough was so damn good. Flaky & flavorful! Will be back & will call ahead next time.”
