“Can't say this enough, CASH ONLY. Don't be surprised if they run out of treats. If you can the empanadas de carne and the pan de Bono's are worth the wait. I pass on the chicarrón not as crispy as would of liked. The coffee is great black and they do warm the milk if you prefer. As for the location, it could use some renovations. I only take my food to go since dining area looks like a break room.“
“A tip before you go: it's cash only! They have an ATM there as well, probably charges a small fee. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews! We were driving through and stopped by because I love Columbian empanadas and figured they'd have them at a bakery. Ended up leaving with pandebono (a type of cheese-filled bread), lenguas (Guatemalan name, long type of crunchy bread), champurradas (disk-shaped), beef empanadas, conchas (soft bread with icing), and arroz con leche. Annnnnnd.... a bandeja paisa. Tried the pandebono while I waited for my paisa that I got to go and absolutely loved them. They were a fresh batch and were soft, slightly sweet, with a hint of cheesiness. I ended up getting more to take home. The empanadas weren't bad! On the small-medium side, but had good flavor and seemed fresh as well. The arroz con leche i as also great and fresh, tasted like my abuela's and was as awesome. I haven't tried the rest of the bakery items yet, so hopefully I'll remember to update this when I do. So when I asked what the size difference between the mini bandeja paisa and the regular were, she shrugged and said not too much of a difference. So of course, I got the bigger one. Ten minutes later, she pulls out a whole TRAY, hefty and full of food. $15 is not bad at all, as other places I've been to typically charge $17+. This thing could feed two people, honestly. The food was well seasoned, not too salty, and generous. The chicharrones. we're great and you get a whole plátano for the maduros! Totally worth it and might have convinced us to come back. Overall, from what I can tell, pretty good eats! It's small inside and we went around 2:30 so it wasn't busy, but I imagine you'd probably have to get stuff to go if they're busy, probably less than 10 seats unless they bring out some folding tables when it's busy. Staff was super friendly and the service was quick and easy. Looks like they also have Guatemalan, Costa Rican, and El Salvadoran food on top of the Colombian. Worth a try!“
“Amazing, amazing! I was very skeptical as I didn't know what to expect and it was my birthday dinner. It's was a group of 6, all family and it didn't disappoint from service to food and amazing ambiance. Lots of choices for drinks and beers; $12 a drink and $6 for a beer, $18 for a Casamigos Margarita. Left full and taking food home, authentic Colombian and entertainment.“
“Authentic Colombian food worthy of 10 stars, incredible attention and we even asked about the cooks who taste better, homemade, good products, quality food, see the minced meat full of meats not like in other places that is just potatoes, a super congratulations This place and its administration are doing a great job, the theme of the afternoon was this and what a shame if they change chefs they would lose the flavor that this place offers. We are going to promote the experience and follow them on social networks, ahhhh and the place is very clean, organized and pleasant. My husband is not Colombian but he loved it and it was one of the best. He went for a tripe but hopefully later with that seasoning they have they can add it to the menu“
“I chose this place for a first date and it was great. The servers were very nice and attentive. I got fish with rice and tostones. Everything was cooked to perfection, seasoned well and came out within 20 minutes. My date got steak and he really enjoyed it. I drank a cappuccino and it was delicious! I'll definitely return! Pricing was fair.“
“been eating there for years and i can say in all honesty I have never had a bad experience. Every meal was great (food quality has slowly risen with time actually), the people were always so kind, let me take my time. the place itself is soo cuteee? and the value? oh my god its incredible. recommend to “
“Okay I've only been in the area for a few months but so far this is literally my favorite restaurant in a 20-min radius. Portions are HUGE, food is always delicious and well-seasoned, everything is affordable (you can get an $11 lunch special) and their breakfast is just as good as their dinner (which is amazing). I eat here like twice a week now and if I had more money or lived closer I would eat breakfast here every day. I've only done takeout and delivery so I don't know how table service is, but the cashier is always helpful and asks if we want hot sauce/pink sauce, so I'd guess it's good! I mean even if they yelled at me I'd still come back, the food is just THAT good haha“
“Everything is delicious, the only thing is that you have to call with plenty of time since it gets very busy and when that happens, the girls stop answering the phone so as not to take more orders! That's very annoying - They need more employees, your business has grown, congratulations!!“
“The Bound Brook High School Spanish Club and Spanish Honor Society came to this restaurant on a trip and we loved it!!! The restaurant's atmosphere is amazing beautiful decorations and lots of space. The Service was also amazing our server quickly took our orders and was extremely nice to us. They had a big screen and a huge sound system ready for us. The food came quickly and it looked excellent. The food tasted really good! Thank you for allowing us to have this experience! P.S. perfect backgrounds for instagram pictures.“
