“The Barnyard is easily the pride of Branchville. I stopped in there last night and not only got great food but had amazing conversation with the staff. The place looks like it would have good food, and didn't disappoint.I will definitely make it my go to place whenever I am back there!“

“Stopped in for lunch. Atmosphere was comfortable. My server Jutay was amazing, very positive attitude. Had the soup of the day with fresh squeezed lemon, which elevated the taste even more. “Food is amazing and very creative. Have had breakfast lunch and dinner. The only challenge is to decide what to order. Kudos to this talented chef and her son in their kitchen. This is a gastronomic treat from an entire team that does not present any versions of the obligatory standards found on most other menus. The wait staff has a great energy, which adds to the whole dining experience. I travel from PA to experience the food and if it were closer it would certainly be a go-to for me. The attached farm market with its delightful cheeses and treats, as well as unique and wonderfully fun culinary items-and even clothing-make the entire experience a heart-warming and fulfilling journey.“

“We've been here twice so far and will continue to return. Their homemade bread is incredible so we'd recommend ordering anything that includes that! The most basic of sandwiches, ham and cheese, becomes delectable when served on their bread. The menu is pretty limited but provides enough options for most. The ham and cheese sandwich was obviously of great quality but we would strongly recommend something other than fish and chips. ?They also make homemade pies and he loved the cherry and it was a very healthy serving. (Maybe they gave an oversized portion because he hardly ate his lunch?)It could be confusing the difference between the deluxe burger on the menu and on the chalkboard special, besides a few dollars; but service is friendly and attentive so just ask.Finally, bring cash--or you have to leave your boyfriend behind and head south four miles to hit an ATM. ?“

“We have been there several times . And always good. This past Christmas Eve was the exception. Must have had a new cook. My steak way undercooked and husband filet ( the special) overcooked. Usually everything is really good. I highly recommend. Just not on Christmas Eve.“

“I was so impressed by the professional, prompt service we received at lunch on a Friday. Our server was upbeat, and he offered us coffee refills shortly before we ran out at least four times! The omelette was good, but the home fries were a little dry - if you like ketchup, you probably wouldn’t have noticed. Every meal I’ve had here was solid, however!“

We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“

“We went in June and were very disappointed, I reached out to the owner to let them know my complaints. They asked us to try them again. Last week we went back and I’m happy to say I had such a great time & meal! The owner revamped everything and it shows! We look forward to going back. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, and 2 different burgers. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the mozz sticks were so good!“
