I believe it's the only one left in ocean county. They had a decent selection. I know they sell some of the cakes at supermarkets. But if you want a cone or a specific cake. You have to go directly to Carvel. The only complaint I'd have is the same all over, the prices.
This is always a decent Carvel, we have gotten many many good cakes from here. I've never really had any major issues with the cakes from here. My SiL got my birthday cake from here 2 weeks ago! My only issue is with the price. I know milk is expensive, but $45 for a cake that feeds 8 people? It seems a bit excessive in price... The sizes of the cakes also seem to be getting a bit smaller... I don't know how this place stays in business? I don't think I have ever gone to the Brick, NJ location on Drum Point and was able to get what I want. The rude couple that runs the place never have any of the advertised flavors or special topping/mixes.
