Pier 281 is easily the BEST marina at the Jersey Shore! It has an awesome luxurious chill vibe. The location can’t be beat with the inlet nearby and the close proximity to Windward Beach with Brick Summerfest fireworks and the awesome pirate ship for added ambiance! The owners are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to keep the marina very well maintained. I personally love the fact that it is not HUGE, so you can get to know some people, but you can also have a lot of privacy to just relax and enjoy! It truly is the ideal marina and has allowed my family to create countless memories to last a lifetime! ??⛵️

I can’t say enough about this marina. Our home away from home for the past 8 years. Gets better and better. Spectacular views, meticulously clean, summer fun events, the owners Rob & Kim are so accommodating and friendly…. It’s truly MARINA perfection ⚓️⚓️⚓️

Have resided at other marinas but this place is by far one of the nicest in our area . Staff is courteous and respondent . Lavatories are new and immaculate . Conveniently located next to windward beach park so park and town sponsored events are very accessible including the fireworks displays and concerts car shows movie nights & farmers markets all add to the charm of this family oriented marina . ParkIng can be tight on the weekends but that’s par for the course in our area . There’s a marina sponsored bbq party each year with live music and a wonderful new entertainment center wet bar for the tenants . BBQ grills kayaks all for the use of the tenants and a small convenient private beach for wading just for the tenants and their guests . It’s quiet at night clean and most of all secure . Fresh new docks travel lifts for hauling . They offer winter storage as well. Over all a wonderful place to reside . The owners are Hands on available and respondent there’s a local deli and a tavern within walking distance Highly recommend this Marina would give them ten goldStars ! Hands down overall a great place

Great business to do work with. Always professional and courteous. Owners Rob and Kim have been a client for more than 10 years and we look forward to many more years helping them become the successful marina they have worked so hard to become.

I bought my boat from the broker at Pier 281 Marian. And when it came time to store my boat for the winter Kim and team were great! She always responds to email fast and efficiently. Even though I keep my boat in the summer up on the Navesink I will be coming back again for winter storage due to the great customer service Kim and team provides!

Small restaurant on the East side on the Metedeconk River overlooking the river and a marina. They are only open for dinner. While there is a bar in the dining room, it is vacant. The restaurant is BYOB. The food was tasty but sparse. For $32 my wife got 4 seared scallops over sauted spinach. $34 bought me 3 Lamb chops over carrots and mashed sweet potato. $28 for beef short ribs (2 tiny ones) on a dollop of whipped potatos. The largest dish was my son's Parmesan crusted chicken breast with fingerling potatoes at $25. The cheesecake cone was a neat idea, but came out frozen. ($8). The server was pleasant, but the service was extremely slow from the moment we walked in. Bottom line, we just didn't see the value.

Disappointed. I have been wanting to try Reels for some time now and finally got there on Saturday 9/15. Nice location on the water, classy causal decor. Over priced BLAH food. No flavor, extremely small portions for the price. 1St impress was a plate of bread with 3 slices of stale cold bread and a few tabs of butter, appear to be left over from another table. Order the special beet salad - basically a pile of canned beets next to a pile of lettuce. The mussels was the best dish of the night however it was served with a burnt inedible Parmesan toast., my husband had the lamb chops $38 got 3 chops, 1 carrot and a small pile of sweet potato. Filet 6 oz $28 asked for it medium, it was served in 2 chunks on a plate. one side was cooked right the other was raw , waitress never came back to see how the food was at this point had enough wanted just to get out. $95 check what a waste of hard earned money- I hope the owner and chef read this and make the necessary changes or sell the place.

The food was terrible & service was slow. Will not go back or recommend to anyone I'm not impressed with the view I'm paying for a good meal .

this is an adventure for young children, adults enjoy it also. They set sail in the river and soon are attacked by a boat load of pirates they come close to boarding but are driven off by passengers who become part of the crew to man the cannons. water cannons that is; it a lot of fun getting them wet. the last thing they do is rescue the treasure chest from the river bottom and bnring it back to shore. where they divey up the loot. the children really loved it, i did tyoo.
