“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.”

“I had such a wonderful experience here! The Tawa Pulav was absolutely delicious , full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Veg Grill Sandwich was another standout, fresh and tasty with just the right amount of spice. Prices were super reasonable, especially for the quality and portions. On top of that, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again!”

“One of the most fabulous halal upscale dining experiences. This has become our go-to place for birthdays and anniversaries. Their lamb shank with qabuli and filet mignon kebabs are out of this world. Very nice ambiance and service as well. Highly recommend!”

“Visited for first time. Food and service were great. I have to say I was not pleased with the Pet situation. I am a dog lover, but pets in a restaurant is not appealing at all. The dogs were barking, doing their busy on the sidewalk, spilling drinking water out of saucers. This was a bit too much. Sorry I'm not a pet hater, but safety and sanitary issues would keep me from visiting again.”

“Stopped in by accident and discovered a goldmine. Driving home to Connecticut, I exited 287 to take a break from rush hour. Nothing like a Buffalo pizza to calm the nerves. I was greeted by a friendly host. I requested a seat at a high top in the bar area , so I could people watch and glance at the game on one of the many tvs. I had a great server , his name was Todd. He explained the menu and walked me through the various pizza selections. He not only knew the menu , he was excited discussing the food. I ordered a Buffalo Pie, it was unbelievable. I wish I saved room for dessert , because the choices seemed so delicious. Next time I’m going through town I will definitely come back”

“Being a food lover, I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was prepared fresh, and the quantity and quality were excellent. In addition, it's BYOB. We ordered tandoori sizzler and soya chaap with their mocktail for appetizers, which were very flavorful. Dinner was chicken patiala and saag paneer with onion kulcha, naan, and veg biryani, all very tasty. The entire experience was 👍.

My only constructive criticism is:
Since you are not using cream to reduce the spice level and the food is freshly made, please watch the spice level a little bit.”

“I enjoyed my lamb burger but the french fries were sub standard. My Mom loved her French dip but again mediocre cooked frozen French fries. Squash soup was very good. Offer fresh cut french fries, or oregano fries as a side to the lamb burger would have made this a 5 star review. Our waiter was very attentive.”

“We ordered our food and when we went up to ask for it Alex made a rude remark toward me and my 12 year old sister. As a person who works a customer service job it is UNACCEPTABLE behavior and he attempted to HIT ON ME with promises of free ice cream in exchange for a “favor””

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.”

“We had a poke bowl and Hawaiian BBQ chicken for dine-in. Both dishes were great!The chicken was hot and fresh and I highly recommended to partner it with a side of eel sauce. The rice for both the poke and Hawaiian plate was cooked to perfection.”

“We have been disappointed with our go to diner lately so we decided to try bridgewater diner. We placed our order, with some notes attached. We got pork roll egg & cheese, home fries bagel with cream cheese fruit cup & chocolate milkshake. All notes were read & followed. Sandwiches were loaded & roll was fresh. Bagel & fruit cup were very good also. Now, time to eat used to be our go to, but lately the food is not up to par. The home fries were not fresh just warmed up & dry. Asked for gravy with French fries & did not get. Roll was hard, no pickle or coleslaw with blt. No syrup or butter with pancakes. Will not let you put in notes. This has been going on gor the last 6 orders. Bridgewater diners home fries were fresh & so much better, added onions per request, pork roll sandwich was excellent. Hands down much better then time to eat diner. Needless to say Bridgewater diner is now our go to diner.”

My fiancé and I have lived in Raritan for 3 years, and have been trying to find a good pizza place. We finally stumbled upon this hidden 💎 gem!! “Carlos pizza is amazing, our absolute favorite pizzeria. We've been getting them for over 8 years. Recently I my food allergy escalated to the point where any exposure to it sends me to the ER. With that said, i haven't been able to order take out as its a major risk. I took a chance and requested them to exclude these ingredients from the pizza and to avoid cross contamination. They went the extra mile and made a safe pizza!! When you're not able to order pizza for months, this means the world lol. BIG THANKS TO CARLOS!! You rock! ❤️”

“Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. I had the falafel in a pita and really enjoyed it. The falafel was made to order and well seasoned. I will agree that, compared to other food court options the menu is limited, however it's important to note that Alex's isn't a chain. The small menu allows them to focus on a few things and do them well. It's, in my opinion, becoming rarer to see non-chain options in mall food courts, so I always try them when I find them. I'm so glad I did!”

I called and ordered a well done plain pie ahead of time for pick up.. when I arrived, it quickly became apparent that they forgot about me.. meanwhile, they have an entire fresh pie that just came out of the oven, and instead of offering me the pie, they cut it up for two slices for a different customer and made me wait 20+ minutes to make what they forgot! I will say that I frequent this shop and will continue to do so but I hope you take this criticism and make adjustments if that should ever happen again. Your pizza Is cromulent”
