Walkrd into restaurant felt welcoming .Ms O was our waitress very attentive..Served complimentary cornbread very good . I order oxtail with extra gravy so GOOD . Portions very good . Attened a wedding ceremony and reception which took place at their 2 location literally across from one another both having parking but in walking distance ( suggested). The owner Ms. Nancy and her staff was Amazing. Present able & willing throughout the entire event. Fried Whiting, catfish, Mac and Cheese, Candied Yams, Greens all cooked to perfection. The breading and flavor of the fish was so good. Presentation was amazing also. The waitress had an excellent attention to detail. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. What a gem!

My work center came here today for a special event. We were bidding farewell to a coworker who is on to bigger and better things. None of us had been here before and we're pleasantly surprised they were able to accommodate all of us without any kind of reservation ahead of time. The service was outstanding they made us feel at home and like family. Ms Nancy, the owner is an absolute delight. The food was so good, I got the spicy jerk chicken with the cabbage and beans and rice. Seeing the food everyone else ordered around me makes me want to go back every day next week until I can try everything lol. The house Ice Tea is so good I wanted to ask if they sell it by the gallon. I highly recommend this place!

So I had to go to my Grandma grave in Beverley and my man found this gem on google. We had the cornbread it was delicious I asked for another piece lol. Then we had the Turkey wings over rice they were tender and smoked. Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, fried shrimp, chicken wings, oxtail with rice a nice complimentary portion (AMAZING) I tell you. Ms. Nancy is a doll and her staff were pleasant as well. Had leftovers gave some to my brother and he liked it as well. He had to call his coworker that lived near there. Definitely will return and recommend. One more thong the Home-made iced tea was so Delicious that i had to bring home a Gallon!!!!

I love this place. Have dined in and ordered take out. The food is so good, I have cravings for it. Always get fried whiting, sweet potatoes, and cornbread. The fried whiting you get 2 pcs, they are fried hard and come out so tasty. Perfectly seasoned. Sweet potatoes are best I've had, not too sweet and chunky. Cornbread is yummy, too. When I had lunch there, it wasn't busy but lots of take out. Staff was nice and let us chill.

Found this place on somebody's tiktok and I was in the neighborhood.First off, they take everything except credit card. Zelle, cash app and ofcourse cash but no credit cards. Service was rocky at first because I guess they weren't expecting sit down service. But after we were seated, service was great and prompt. The food was good. Personally didn't like the breading on their seafood but not a deal breaker. The sides are RIGHT! Very good mac n cheese, greens and potato salad. Overall. Check it out.

Take out ordered oxtails w/cabbage & rice. Although the host shows the food, there was lots of cabbage I mentioned rice she said it was under the cabbage. When I got home there was no rice. There was so much gravy from cabbage & oxtails took away the flavor. The whitey fish was not fresh & the fried chicken wings was 2 wingetts divided.
The catfish was amazing! Everything we had was very good and the staff were very attentive.
