Duck appetizer was a hit. The Humboldt Fog cheese was amazing. Next moving on the the escargot ? over the puff pastry. I have never had it prepared like this before and I don’t think I want it any other way now. So delicious. The baked oysters with leek fondue and caviar were probably my personal favorite. I could probably eat a dozen of them. So creamy and delicious. The steak and scallops with the Cafe de Paris sauce that was “plucked” out of France ?? by the owners was to die for. I could put this sauce on anything. So rich. The apple birthday dessert and the Crème Brûlée were both very good but I would have to say it was the best Crème Brûlée I’ve ever had. So satisfying cracking the sugar shell on top.

Once again highly recommended from the food to the service to the atmosphere. Was sat inside but they also have a nice porch with comfy chairs and couches that looks onto Washington Street and even has overhead heaters for the colder months. The inside dining was extraordinary. The French music mix along with the lighting definitely set the tone for the evening. I felt like I was in Lyon but only 15 minutes away from my doorstep. 10/10 experience, will be back!”

“I absolutely recommend Peter Shields Inn for a wedding venue. We had a small wedding on the beach and our wedding dinner was handled by Peter Shields. We worked with Amy (their event coordinator) and she was so helpful in every way. She went above and beyond to make everything so easy for us. I literally handed them a box of our wedding decorations and the tables and everything was set up perfectly! I didn’t have to lift a finger. Their bartender served up our signature drinks with a smile. Our guitarist serenaded guests on the porch while they enjoyed cocktails and wonderful hors doeurves. Dinner was seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. Perfection hands down!”

Their salmon teriyaki and Long Island Rolls are great. The prices are reasonable and they offer hibachi. I’ll be back here when I come back to Cape May for vacation in the summertime.”

“We love love love Panico's! We use to always go to Sapore but Sapore has gone down hill since new ownership. We love how Panico's doesn't rush you, and you can take your time. The food is also great, I recommend either the 3 cheese chicken or the rigatoni vodka and ask for the chicken breaded! It is also nice that it's a BYOB, so it is inexpensive. “Fun sports bar with a great staff and food”

“My husband and I have been visiting Cape May for years now, and we cannot understand how we waited this long to stop in the Oyster Bay Bar & Restaurant for dinner. We spent a few weeks in the area this year and had meals at the Oyster Bay Bar three times!! From our first visit, we felt so incredibly welcomed beginning with a nice chat with the hostess as we waited for our table. Just from that brief chat during our first visit, the same hostess greeted me by my name on our 2nd visit. I’m embarrassed to say that I cannot remember her name, but I will say that she was incredibly lovely and personable. Our server, Bobby, who took care of us on both our first and last visits, had a wonderful personality, sharing some tidbits with us of the history of the restaurant and with being local to the area, answered some of our questions about the holiday season in Cape May. Now, about the food…with each visit we tried something new and found each meal to be delicious and satisfying. Our favorite appetizer, which we had on all three visits, was the charbroiled oysters. Absolutely delightful!! The mix of the Parmesan cheese in the garlic butter….so very good!! My husband and I always like to do something special on our last night of vacation…and you guessed it, the Oyster Bay Bar was our choice for dinner! The lovely hostess greeted us once again and mentioned to the owner, Gary, that this was our third visit and that we chose this restaurant as our last dinner on vacation. Gary stopped by our table, after sending a complementary round of drinks to us, and spent time speaking with us. Knowing we were tossing the idea of a return visit during the holidays, he gave us his personal cell phone number to reach out to him for not only restaurant reservations but also if we had any other questions regarding the holiday visit. Never before, have I encountered such genuine kindness and graciousness in a visit to a restaurant establishment. I cannot stress to all who take the time to read this review that you most definitely must stop in the Oyster Bay Bar & Restaurant for a meal. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Gary, Bobby and the most loveliest hostess for adding to our vacation memories and experiences.”

“I have now been to Behr Brewing on several occasions, I like it's quaint and relaxed atmosphere...but mostly I like the beer, I'm not sure how I would describe my pallet but my visits to numerous other breweries I often taste beers that just aren't for me. I can honestly say every time I have visited Behr all of the beers I have tried are very drinkable and I have enjoyed every single batch. very satisfying for sure.”

His favorite is the chicken bacon ranch grilled cheese and the day we went they had a smash burger grilled cheese as a special that I got. Absolutely delicious! Special shout out to the amazing table of guests next to us that included 3 married couples that each had been married for over 25 years. They stopped at our table to give our bride-to-be some amazing wedding and successful marriage advice. It was a really special visit and I am so glad we chose to come here! 💜”

“Wow, fantastic. Perfect temperature of roll versus filling, on the classic roll. Perfect amount of light mayo, with what seems like a house combination of celery seed and some sparing big pretzel salt crystals…. Just perfect munching overlooking the boardwalk, dunes and ocean in Ocean City boardwalk. And the lobster bisque was excellent. With the jumbo sized option on the classic rolls, there was lobster falling out of the sandwich before we could even pick it up. Just excellent.”

“When visiting Cape May this Christmas season, my fiancé and I went to Cold Spring Brewery to try it. We absolutely loved it! It is decorated for the holidays and cozy inside. We were thrilled to hear that our pup was allowed to be inside so we didn’t have to sit out in the cold with him. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They even gave our puppy a special treat. The beer was delicious. The tap room and bathrooms were clean. On Saturday, there was live music and it was so enjoyable. We loved our time at Cold Spring so much that we returned to the brewery on Sunday for the dog day afternoon special. It was so sweet. Unfortunately we observed a rude patron who complained about the dogs being present at the brewery (even though it is the designated dog day afternoon). If you don’t like to be around the pups, maybe Sunday afternoons aren’t for you. Everyone else at the brewery was kind and super friendly. Def recommend it here!”

“The owner is a local teacher during the year and a crepe maker in the summer. The crepes are made before your eyes and the fruit is freshly cut. The smoothies and drinks are also delicious. He puts a lot of topping in one crepe. This is our go to for breakfast, brunch or breakfast for linner. Consistently delicious and made by a really nice guy. We are usually first on line Opening Day and make many crepe stops throughout the season. We’ve been in Cape May more than 30 years and recommend CHILL as among the best in Cape May. Not a tourist trap. ; )”

Maybe you don't know that Cafe Nutella has a new owner and a new Restaurant. Master Chef Ahmed is an excellent cook, his specialty is Mediterranean Cuisine. I ate Oax Tail Tajine, Moroccan Specialty: Giant beef Oax Tail simmered for hours in house made j*** sauce, dried apricot topped with crispy onions. I also ate an Avocado Salad: Rich, creamy avocados, vibrant tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, red onions, and a fresh herb dressing. I can strongly recommend this Restaurant with all my heart; Ahmed, the Master Chef prepared the food with passion and a lot of knowledge. Very tasty, I had a great time., Ali”
