The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! It was my first time visiting. I was picking up an order for my coworkers. So I had a chili cheese dog. It was very satisfying. The owner was very nice and welcoming. He told me about his fresh ingredients for burgers and other yummies. I definitely have Tommy's as a go-to since I work nearby. Please stop by and try it for yourself.

This place is a hidden gem, it’s my go to anytime I’m working in the area. The owner is an awesome down to earth guy with his sidekick Dylan. The chili cheese hot dogs were outstanding as usual. Highly recommended.
