We grabbed a quick after dinner ice cream while in the area. They serve Gifford's ice cream from Maine. Despite looking small, the place actually has a fair amount of tables inside and looks like it has a whole other side of tables though that was closed the day we visited. Loved visiting this ice cream shop. I tasted 2 flavors and went with cake batter, it was delicious and had chunks of cake in it! I got a kiddie cup which was more than enough because I got 2 big scoops! I love that they offer so many flavors including vegan options. It is located directly next to the Chatham library and there is indoor and outdoor seating which is perfect to sit and enjoy your sweet treat. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Ice cream was amazing! Peanut butter pie! The young girl who helped me was a different experience. I don't know if her house just burned down or some terrible tragedy because she didn't smile, didn't even look at me, nor speak and abruptly walked away right after I paid. No spoons.
