“Love this quiet cafe with friendly staff. It’s a chill environment for small talk and a book, but also the best pastries I’ve had in Philly, comparable to the big name bakeries in NYC. The macarons are also very well done, with flavours that delights the soul. There’s nothing bad about this cafe to comment on. Note how they even wrapped the cruffin in a beautiful way to ensure it doesn’t topple in the paper bag and looks beautiful when you take it out. It is pretty pricey for pastries if you are not used to paying for good quality pastries but worth every penny. 5/5 on all aspects.“
“I ordered their single plantation sampler online. The shipping was as good as could be expected, with consistent tracking. The packaging was perfect. Care was obviously taken in preparing it for shipment.The chocolates themselves, I can only speak for the one I've tried this far, but it's delicate, creamy, and melts against your tongue perfectly. I ordered this after watching Anne Reasons piece on YouTube regarding how single source chocolates are significantly better than the commercial stuff we're all used to. So far I certainly agree.While I have to take on faith that these are sourced where they say and are single plantation as advertised, they certainly are good. Not a huge chocolate fan, but these aren't you Big Candy offerings. Something is obviously different in all the right ways and it's a great experience thus far. Looking forward to trying more and getting more from this company.“
“A special gift and searching for some chocolates. I came on Tuesday night, not realizing they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Luckily, owner or manager was stocking up and preparing for an event. I was so happy because I was coming from NJ on a trip and I was not planning to come back. She was so kind and suggested a few items. We ended up buying the gift box of 15 specialty beautifully made flavored chocolates. The packing box is beautifully presentable as a gift. I wish they made a smaller version gifting box for the 10 count. Sadly, I didn't take a picture before gifting it away.“
