“The 3 day cleanse was ah-mazing. I thought to myself that I was not going to be able to do it. The drinks were delicious and having one every 2 hours I wasn't hungry at all. Yeah day 2 I wanted something to eat but the drinks kept me full so it was only my brain saying you need food but I didn't. My husband did it with me and we both lost 9 lbs. It's such a nostalgic place for me personally and I know it means a lot to the local community as well - truly a staple of downtown Garwood. The ambiance is very modern and trendy with lots of seating options to enjoy your food in-store. There's also lots of outdoor seating, though not the most relaxing option because it's along a busy road/intersection. When I'm not with friends, I usually take my food to go, which is always a quick and easy process. I can easily say that The Juice House makes the best bowls (acai, pitaya, coconut, banana - you name it)! What really sets JH apart is their organic GRAWNOLA - it's so tasty and soft. The bowls have the perfect proportions of base, GRAWNOLA, and toppings, so every bite is flavorful. My go-to order is the Chocoberry Acai Bowl with honey, which truly hits the spot every time. Some other favorites are the CocoNutter Coconut Bowl and the JH Acai Bowl, but you truly cannot go wrong with whatever you order! The Juice House employees are always friendly and helpful, and the owner, Arielle, is extremely front-facing and responsive - so awesome! “We were staying nearby at the Heldrich Hotel and were looking for a place to have breakfast where there might be some gluten free options. SOL-KALANIT’S was the perfect solution. My wife had tacos (corn, not flour) both mornings we ate there and said they were the best tacos she had eaten since she moved back east from Arizona. I had an omelet both mornings and both were excellent. The dine-in area is small and it can get a bit noisy. But everyone who works there is warm, friendly, and lot’s of fun. The food is a mix of Mexican, Native American, and Mediterranean. If this place were closer to home, we would be regular customers. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.“

I thought the prices were kind of high, but I was really curious, so I continued on ordering. The cashier was very nice to explain menu items to me. I went with the cheese empanada and a pernil empanada. I'm glad that their empanada are decently sized and that they load up their empanadas. Even the cheese ones had a lot of cheese (please see pic), and they aren't had just air pockets. I thought the pernil embalada was very flavorful. Overall I'm very happy with my orders and would like to try all the different menu items.“

The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. I was greeted by a woman and man behind the counter who I presume to be the owners..they were quite friendly. I was looking for a smoothie place that opens before 7am and they opened at 6am. It's located on Bloomfield Ave in Newark, NJ and if you know the area, it's quite busy. Parking may be scarce. I ordered the coffee banana smoothie and it was tasty. It was approximately 32oz? And it was 10.00. They also have add ins such as protein, collagen, etc.This may seem pricey but healthy food will cost you. I wanted to try the crepes which also were 10.00 but I did not have time to wait. The smoothie was not too sweet which I liked. I would like to try their other flavors so I will definitely go back. My one issue is that a list of ingredients of the smoothies would be helpful, as well as what is used to sweeten the smoothies.“
