They also have some good baked goods and sandwiches, but the coffee is what really keeps me coming. Things to keep in mind: - Parking in downtown Cranford is always a bit tricky, so plan ahead! - Track 5 is super popular, which means it's usually pretty packed. “Yo I don't know what they put in dem eggs but damn, that chili eggs dish was masterful. It hands down one of my favorite bites at a restaurant. I certainly see what the hype is about and can't wait to go back and try other items. Ok, so why a 4 instead of a 5? Well, here's the thing. It's hard to be both a cafe and a restaurant. Seating is first come, first served so you have to stand there and wait for seats to come available and then rush over before someone else gets there. I've seen places that have the cafe ambiance operate like restaurants to make it a better customer experience. Restaurant may want to consider adding more tables for busier times (weekends and Holidays) and put out the couches and chairs during lighter foot traffic. Also, you can allow for those who are in the cafe area or getting an order to go come up to the counter and order while those who want to sit at a table be seated and waited on. The experience was disorienting until we actually were at a table and then it was great from there. We almost left because it was so crowded and couldn't find a table but in Jersey good eateries are hard to come by. Overall, you will have an amazing experience during non-peak hours because the food a great and the staff were friendly. However, during peak hours can be a bit of a hassle due to finding seating.“

The place is bright and clean; they even have hooks installed on the side of the benches to hang coats, purses, etc. The Vietnamese food there is tasty and healthy. The chef pays attention to every detail, from the taste to the presentation of every dish. Even the chef’s choice for the thickness of each noodle soup type can make a difference! We tried fried/fresh spring rolls, pho, classic spicy lemongrass noodle soup, fried rice, bánh mì, coffee, and smoothies. My son even had a 2nd strawberry smoothie because it’s the best that he’s ever tasted. The Vietnamese coffee is also enchanting. Last but not least, it’s a family owned restaurant so you’ll feel great being welcomed and taken care of. If we live close to this restaurant, we’ll be happy to eat there every day. Inside is newly built with plenty of seats and a bar area. The menu is all online as is the ordering. I ordered the Vermont rooster sandwich which comes with fries .. it's a deep fried boneless chicken thigh on a brioche bun with lettuce tomato and pickles with bacon cooked perfectly. My buddy had the cheese steak which he said was really good and he's a bit picky. Tons of cheese and a horseradish aoli spread. They have salads and pizza as well. Don the owner cooks everything from scratch and it really shows once you dig in! Nicely plated and priced right. They also serve dinner after 4 pm. “Best soft serve I have ever had!!! Honestly... I can't say enough good things about this place. To say I was pleasantly surprised I'd an understatement. I got a soft serve swirl with cookie dough bites and it was delicious. The ice cream is perfectly creamy, and the vanilla had an almost marshmallow-y taste to it. It also sort of reminded me of the cream inside an Oreo. Perfectly balanced between creamy and cold- it didn't taste watered down or too "Icy". My mom and my 16 month old also agreed. (Ok, my mom agreed. My son was a fan but he doesn't quite understand just how good it was yet.) My son didn't finish his, so we brought it back with us to upstate NY. Yes, it was good enough to save in the freezer at our hotel and then to shlep back home so I could enjoy one more time. And also so my husband could try it since I couldn't stop raving about it. Also worth noting- I'm very impressed at their variety. They have lots of soft serve and hard ice cream flavors. I tried the Apple Butter Caramel Latte with oat milk and it was very good. The caramel taste is subtle but flavorful and you get an apple cider taste as the main star. We have had to order gluten free bread on many occasions from California because that was the only good one we could find, so to have an even BETTER one available right here in NJ is such an unexpectedly amazing find. It is so hard to find fresh, soft gf sour dough bread and if you’re gluten free you know how amazing it is to finally find something that is actually delicious and tastes like bread! “Went to Ninja Sushi this past weekend with some friends. Their food was pretty good. I got Scallops Teriyaki. It was good. I had never had Scallops made that way before, but I liked them.Interestingly at Ninja, there are no physical menus and the waiters don't take your order: you scan a QR code with your phone and chose your order online. You then press Order and the waiters will bring the food. Overall, it was a decent place. Very quiet on a Saturday afternoon (we were the only ones in there).“
